    I guess no one else wanted to test them?

      Probably. But that's not the fault of those two guys presenting. They're doing a great job. We'll see how the problems behind the curtain are being handled in the long run.

    What about water temps? Do the AIO ever overheat the water when noise normalised? My last AIO would automatically increase the fan noise as the water temperature climbed, so fans became quickly annoying.

      The coolant does not exceed the recommended temperatures. The temperature reached does not harm any of the AIOs components. The customer will experience thermal throughteling well before any problems with the coolant occur.

      Sorry you got screwed so hard. Unfortunately, EK is very well known for having awful customer support, overpriced products, and extremely mediocre performance. I'm just sorry you hard to learn such an expensive lesson. I hope they do the right thing and give you a full refund. In the future, I recommend you avoid EK products and go with other reputable brands like Watercool, Aquacomputer, Optimus, Bitspower, Alphacool, and even Byski or Barrow are better.

    this test is pretty meeehhh to not say that it lacks the biggest factor wich is ambient temp., however, performance is pretty poor considering that here, 7950x, 2x360 radiators, same clock and fixed voltage, 100% at 25c ambient for a 10 minutes prime small avx run brought me at 77 c

    This is not a review but were gonna test and review them? This is as confusing as paying your suppliers

      The title says Test not Review...
      It is great test comparing different coolers with max and 10 minute scores + with noise lvl cap test.

      How is testing at lower decibel equal to higher temperature then at 100% on temps graph? Maybe you have them switched by accident?

    • @NivalisJKK
      @NivalisJKK 4 месяца назад +1

      Lower decibels = lower fan speed = higher temperatures.
      100% fan speed = more heat desipated = lower temps.
      The lines are switched though yes
      First graph has 100% on top and second has 100% on bottom.

      For all the testing, we used Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut, which was cleaned and reapplied for each test.

  • @yuriyjikharev6966

    Direct DIE, faster fans, faster pump + more radiators, yield better results, as expected, since removing the CPU heatspreader and thermal interface (solder), removes 2 unnecessary barriers beween the CPU DIE and the waterblock coldplate, that hinder optimal/fastest possible heat transfer/removal from the CPU DIE to the waterblock coldplate

    EK being a bad company aside... This video is quite useless. 26 minutes? You could have just published the graphs and a 4 sentence summary. "Direct die makes everything better (obviously) and AIO don't sustain high loads as well as vanilla custom loops." Oh, look, I did the summary in 1.
