Honestly I am glad I have come to see this video. Thanks Tim and Joe.. my personal take way "do at least as possible to the image but whatever is necessary" it is true when they say you have not mastered anything if you can't break it down simply to a 6-year old. Joe being a master of photography breaks this down very simply and precisly.
This is the best video on post processing that I have seen on the internet. The approach and the philosophy of what your are doing makes your video invaluable. Do as little as possible but as much as is needed, if you don't mind I will adopt this as a mantra of sorts.
Thanks Tim and Joe, belatedly. Always good to see image interpretations applied through the editing process. I assume printing that image is now straight forward flattening and sending to the printer. Would there be any more sharpening once the size of the print is set?
Hi Steve - yes a final sharpening for print depending on the size of output. I've seen Joe use sharpening and 50% zoom in Photoshop but he doesn't use a lot

Nice video :) and an even better explanation of the process. Than you!
So glad you enjoyed this. We've a few more from the archives to upload, so keep an eye out :D

I don't know about "the best". Ever seen one of Robert Rodriguez Jr. videos on post processing?

@@largeformatlandscape Thanks, I'm from the US and am going to subscribe to On Landscape, don't know if it is both online and hard copy, but will see.
