Omg, This is probably the starter I'm picking. I don't know why but I just love the concept.

I really liked the information about beaver's significance in Canada, but I wish we got to know more about the actual Pokémon you were designing.
I really love the in-depth history and cultural background information you give for each of the Pokémon. I always learn something new about biology and history. I just wish I could hear it better underneath the really loud music 😂

I have a custom attack idea for this guy.
Dam Block
Type: Grass | Status
The user puts up a wall similar to Reflect that lasta 5 turns. Whenever a pokemon uses a Water or ice type move, friendly pokemon have their def and sp.def raised by 1 stage.
Friendly Pokemon are also protected from Weather damage like hail and sand.
Could give this move to Bibarel too, but could be fun as an exclusive.
Sure it could be weird to give a water resistance move to a Grass/Steel type, but thematically I think it fits.
This is a rare occasion where the middle form is actually my favorite of the three, and i really do like the 3rd form but i wish the tail design of the second stage would have been more prominent in the 3rd form as well as maybe some menacing buckteeth

This line is perfect! I love all three designs! It's hard for me to find a fakemon starter line I'd be truly psyched to use, but this one is for sure!

Ok now unless the other starters are jaw droppingly amazing then this is my starter. I do think you should turn the music down for your next upload as it’s too loud over your voice. Question, will you continue to do Pokémon Redesigns here or will they purely be on Instagram now?
I agree, the music was a little to loud! I’m not sure why it’s like that tho because when I’m editing it sounds fine 😅 I’ll post redesigns on both channels!
A pretty much perfect design, it conveis the deep connections with region related concepts very well, if I had to criticise something is that Timoldane has heavy earthly tones, one could think it was a grass/ground mon, but aside from that it's perfect.
Looking forward to the continuation of the Canata region! Though, something of note, the music is a bit too loud compared to your voice, so you might want to adjust that part of the audio for your next installments.

One thing you should start to do is dinamic poses, like the second fakemon. I say this because the third line starter is beautiful but its just stand up.

This is so COOL!! Honestly, it's BETTER than redesigning old mons! I wonder if you'll follow the zodiac and sub aquatic weapon themes for the fire and water starters like you did with the prehistoric giant beavers for grass!!!
Very solid designs!! There's something really satisfying about the log turning into a saw then an axe.
Just a couple critiques if that's ok: it would be great to hear more about your design process (and maybe the region itself?). The IRL facts are very interesting, but it feels a bit out of place when the visuals are just a time lapse of the Pokémon.
Another thing is that the style of the eyes is a bit inconsistent throughout the line. They start off beady, then get white sclera, and then back to beady again. It's a little jarring imo. I think Timoldane could keep the sclera from the middle stage, it makes it a bit more "matured" and determined if that makes sense? Returning to the beady eyes is a weird gap that doesn't fit the body too well
That aside, these are still great concepts! looking forward to your future mons!! :D

I wouldn't have thought a beaver could have made a strong base for a starter Pokemon but I was all in seeing how cute Beavby was and enjoyed its evolutions quite a bit! Timoldane as a grass/steel really tracks and I enjoyed the history lessons and insight of ur approach. Great job with these designs bruv! Ready for the fire starter next!

A quick suggestion: you really should lower the BG music, at some points, your voice was barely audible.

As someone who very recently began planning a canada region (been thinking about calling it hakanata) I'm interested in how you plan on carrying it out!
So far my plan is
Gen 2 but with unlimited colors (but same amount of colors in sprites)
East to west progression
Starters are a spider, a Buffalo/bison, and a lobster.
