Thank you so much for this video. My Samsung washing machine just stopped working last week. 1.5 year old unit (uhhh Samsung, really?) Anyways, it refused to power on for no apparent reason. I had a repairman come over and say that it was "going to be about $700 to fix and that I should buy a new one or a home warranty from his company." He spent about 9 minutes taking the top off and pointing to wires and happily took his $129 diagnostic fee. I took a gamble and watched your video a few times. Ordered a new logic board, crossed my fingers and installed. Instant fix. Your wisdom and willingness to share saved me a lot of money. Seriously, thank you.
what was it? mine sometimes clicks sometimes doesnt - when it clicks itl turn on and it will start the cycle etc but then it just randomly loses power. @@moisesbecerra8316
Such an excellent and informative video that is to the point and very easy to follow along. Just wanted to add that this was exactly the same issue I had with the Samsung 6300 series washer that was purchased late 2019. Not impressed with Samsung after only three years of moderate use and it goes belly up! I tried replacing the front control board but that wasn't the fix. The reason is because I tested pins 4&5 which measured 5V for about a minute and then measured 0V. I thought the front display is on a timer anyways so maybe the PCB board was fine and it's my front display. A new front board didn't fix the issue. It still would not turn on! Ordered the PCB board of the exact model and works like a charm! Thanks for this, appreciate your efforts very much!
Great job on giving us all the correct testing and diagnostic's steps for the control board. I had the same exact problem but the RED LED Light was not blinking on my board. After going through all your steps, I did NOT have the 5 Volts between pin #4 and pin #5 on the CN7 Connector. I just put a new control board in today and it works now. Thanks again for your video, it was very helpful
Thank you sooooo much for publishing this video. My samsung washing machine would not turn on too and by using this video as a reference for inspection and testing, I decided to replace the board. $200 for a board and 1 day shipping and we are back washing clothes again! I would like to add that apparently there are 2 different main boards available for these washers, a "3 capacitor" and a "4 capacitor". The video showes the 4 capacitor and mine was the 3 capacitor. This meant that I could not do the exact same electrical tests that you did on mine, but I went ahead and replaced it and It works perfectly.
Glad I found your video, my 3 year old washer had no power so i ordered a new board for $214 Canadian delivered. Up and running again. I was impressed how well the Samsung is put together and the parts look very good, but as most things today the electronics are a weak link

Thank you so much for doing this video! I have the same washer and it did the exact same thing. It would take multiple hits of the power button to turn on, until it didn't. Watched your video, followed your troubleshooting and looked up the service manuals as well. Was missing the same 5 volts DC. So replaced the board. I had to pay $150.00 for mine... I have also fixed the Dryer twice, once to replace a drum roller wheel, and then the heating element as it burnt out. Not impressed with Samsung washers and dryers! So thank you again for posting this and helping me out!

Hello, can you provide me with the diagram? pleaseeee
Hi
How can we find the logic board diagram?
I used manualslib dot com website.
is the power button broken
Not really.
So that meens the same is going on with mine thin
My samsung washing machine only sometimes works. Wont turn on one day but the next day it works again. I can continually do loads of washing during the day but once I turn it off...that's the end of it, no power again
We had similar symptoms before it went out for good. It was also shut off during washing cycle sometimes.
My washer don't start working what can be the problem
No power, or bad logic board.
Do you hear any click noise ?
How reset my Samsung dryer
Washer wont turn on, when i press the power button theres a click
Same problem
Mines not turning on aswell..ive only had it 3 years...im never getting a Samsung washer again
I feel like they are all designed to fail around 3 years.
I always buy 5 years warranty for $100 extra, and I used it EVERY SINGLE TIME around years 4-5.
Got new fridge, new washer, and dryer was repaired 1 month before warranty expired.
@DIYtimeTech seems like a money making scheme by these companies. Washer is working but the digital panel has gone. Home contents insurance aint covering faults either 😒
My dryer is the same as your washer it stopped working
My drier also broke before. It was still under warranty. They replaced the heating element, it was broken and wasn’t heating up.
Oh
so you are telling me its broken. im not going to sit there with no fkn knowledge of circuit boards and rebuild one.
CLICKBAIT! You did not repair the logic board at all. You replaced it with a new one.
