I really enjoyed committed, mostly because the scene where Lois has to confess to Clark that she loves him - and who knows for how long, because we also find out she feels she "cheated" on him - was really well acted by all three participants.
My main gripe is how Lois/Lana are handled. They introduce romantic Clois in the ep Bride. But then they pull a 180 and resurrect Clana for several eps acting like Lois doesn't exist. So it makes Lois seem like a back up plan. If they knew Lana was coming back, they should've held off with Clois until S9 IMO. BTW - How did Jimmy afford Watchtower on a part time freelance photographer salary? This never made any damn sense. 🤣 Plus the retcon with a "different Jimmy" still leaves a bad taste.
Good review you covered a lot of things I didn't think about. Smallville was indeed showing fatigue and their reason to keep him from flying was getting old, he pretty much was the Flash.
Exactly, Season 8 reinvigorated the show for the better which is why I hold the last 3 seasons in such high regard. Also, I kind of agree with you on Clark being pretty much the Flash🤣 (And they couldn't even use the Flash on the show so they brought in Impulse instead).
Indeed the last 3 seasons took quite distinct turns and undertones. While I hated Davis Bloom/Doomsday as a malevolent character of this season, I think, the development and introduction of Tess Mercer, instead of the getting boring Lex-character, was genius in theory and portrayal: Cassidy Freeman as an ambivalent mixture of good and bad goals and ways to get there plus the somewhat closer interaction between Tess and Clark, gave a whole new octave to the antagonist status while bringing back revived and cloned versions of Lex was annoying and ridiculous, just like in Lois&Clark, And yes: developing Lana from the whiny permanent victim to a selfmade tough girl - it doesn't work out here, as Kristin Kreuk is too fragile, after all. Something like this works with "full size" girls like Cassidy and Erica, but not for a petite elf like Kristin. Lana needed another turn, at least 2 seasons earlier.
Really? What a coincidence!🤣 The Reviews for the last 2 seasons are coming soon, followed by a video ranking all 10 seasons... So Stay Tuned and thanks for watching 👍
The fans who claimed that the show shoudn't have been called 'Smallville' from Season 8 due to most scenes taking place in Metropolis are clueless about the show. Because 'Smallville' wasn't just the name of the town where Clark Kent grew up. 'Smallville' was also Clark Kent's nickname. CLARK KENT was 'Smallville'. A lot of people totally missed that point. Even Lois Lane oftentimes referred to Clark as 'Smallville'. The name of the show itself was a double-entendre that went over the heads of many people.
Traduscan esto a ingles 😂🤷🏻♂️ En el episodio cuando Lois se entera de que Clark tiene poderes le dice: Oh entonces ya no te debería llamar Smallville? 😮
Davis' ending was fucked up. I'm never forgiving them for that. my poor broken lost puppy did a hole seasons for those two last minutes. cmon. No wonder even Witwer was like wtf
Thanks man, the reviews for the last 2 seasons are coming soon followed by a ranking video. And yes, I remember you mentioned Season 8 being your favourite
Okay I loved season 8, it was like a lovely trip back to Lois and Clark the new adventures of Superman. Loved it and hated it but still I watch it for the comedies not the TH Lois who was so easily fooled by Lex Luthor. Man did I hate her! She could handle herself but when it came to Lex she was a pussy wuss. Loved seeing the interaction between Lois and Clark. And another thing that should’ve been quite obvious. Clark should’ve moved to Metropolis cause no one, not even Lois ever question how fast Clark was able to commute to and from SM to M to work at the Daily Planet, I wished I could’ve seen Clark getting raised for an article he wrote. I know he is trying to keep a very low profile on Clark Kent so no one suspect him to being the Blur (god I hated that title). I hated how Jimmy came close to finding out Clark’s secret only to be dodged (at round one) but gets to find out in the end (and then we learned he is fake Jimmy). Chloe was at her worst on this season, nuff said. I personally wished they didn’t bring in Doomsday or Zod. Unless they were making a series called Metropolis and Tom was willing to wear the suite, these master villains (Darksied included) should’ve been saved for a Superman series. Writers strike was over yet they made terrible choices for the characters. And they made this series too biblical and I do mean biblical. Tess was worst than Chloe who was a stalker and spies on Clark but Tess she’s like Alex Forester. Minus the boiling bunny. Well the show could’ve just replaced MR or just end the show when Clark goes north for his training. Tess is supposedly a gender swap Lex Luthor. She knows Clark’s secret but how? That was never clarified, explained not elaborated. But she is way more intrusive then Chloe was. I could’ve loved season eight without Jimmy and Chloe, the Doomsday beauty and the beast with Chloe and I know Tess is an original Superman comic book character but I wished the big twist of her story is that she is Queen Maxima come to earth to see if Clark Kent is worthy to be her king. Which he is but she also does it to save him from his impending death AND because she loves him. As for Doomsday I wrote a FF where Davis is actually Clark’s half brother. A Kryptonian woman who wanted Jor-El but he rejected her and in retaliation she used Red-K and Gem-K to get him to copulate with her and she created Doomsday. Kryptonians managed to incase him and send him to the Phantom Zone. Along with his mother. Yes once again another interruption of Clark moving on thanks to Lana. I was disappointed that there was no interactions between Lana and Lois. A silent way of Lana telling Lois Clark is all hers now. Example: remember when Lana left they farewell video? Lois comforted Clark and helped him get back on his feet and all? Well after that ridiculous reason to finally leave, why not have Lois find out Lana is leaving and she races over to stop her from leaving. Now she doesn’t know the real reason for Lana’s leaving. She cries as she tells Lana how devastated Clark was the last time she left. Lana who was at first sad and fearful of leaving Clark suddenly smiles and tells Lois “Clark isn’t alone, he has you” and she leaves with a peaceful smile on her face. Why not? It should’ve happened to show how mature Lana truly is. P.S. my personal favorite episode of this season was Stiletto.
Had to remove the intro and outro music due to a Copyright Claim 🙄

These are among my biggest issues with Season 8. Still enjoyed it though.
Yeh. The writers really screwed up there for sure.

It's funny because I've been rewatching the episodes and every time I finish a season, you have a review made for me to watch, great work man.

I'm glad you pointed that out. I wholeheartedly agree 👍

That's my biggest con with seasons 8 through 10 he basically superman and it felt like the show was spinning it wheels
Davis' ending was fucked up. I'm never forgiving them for that. my poor broken lost puppy did a hole seasons for those two last minutes. cmon. No wonder even Witwer was like wtf

I can see why some people take issue with certain aspects of the season.
That FF idea sounds cool by the way 👍😎
@@nukritik2933 thank you still working on it. Along with several other ideas
Legion isnt in it enough
I can agree with that
season 8 sucks.
I can understand why some people aren't too optimistic about Season 8👍
