It's one thing to see it animated, but when they cut to real life footage of what you just saw, the scale is crazy. The bit where they showed the segmented ring placement was so cool.
I think all the machines are unbelievably invented smart and strong, it just shows what can be done and this kind of technology, could be put to use in other all other areas and subjects on earth
This company has the most impressive infrastructure technology I’ve ever seen. I am in awe of their absolutely stunning vision, design, and implementation.
I imagine this may be on the level of complexity used to safely construct and use space rockets. Kudos to the 3d team, not only for making such a setup, but so vividly showing us most every aspect of the mammoth operation, that is building a tunnel using a tbm
Thanks marti for this share and this improvement. With the trust that this company can work in this direction for the protect of our planet and the living species like ours ..
Having worked on the buildings on and off for 40 years I know a lot of architect jokes. None of them suitable for children or those of delicate sensibilities 😀
They do a lot of tunnel boring here in Sydney because a) people don't like to have a road crossing their backyard, and b) the city doesn't have enough space, so they go underground for transport. Couple years back they put a tunnel 90m deep under a river. To do all that they build these massive shafts to put the tunnel boring machine and all the equipment through. Huge undertaking. 🚧🚧
Very well done video, interesting and informative. However, there is one big mistake in the comments. It says that certain things are done from preventing the concrete to cool down too fast. Concrete does not cool down, it heats up while curing and that needs to be prevented!
Concrete cooling down too fast could be an issue in some environments but I doubt it would have been a problem here. I imaging pouring a slab in the arctic could cause alot of problems. Also I’m no concrete expert but I’m pretty sure they would have additives in the cement for these sort of problems.
You mean by him? Marti is just one guy doing all this. He's a bit crazy for sure. Crazy Swiss. Previously he ran a cheese business, and thought to himself "it's time to upscale". Little did we know how crazy he was. I think it's the fumes from the fermentation.
How do you guys deal with the gaps between formworks that's not reinforced with rebar? Seems like the gaps between rebar cages are rather large in the animation, so been wondering if this is a much smaller gap in real life or if other mechanisms (expansion joint, drainage etc) are placed within the gap created post cure if the gap is indeed that large.
There's a little church in between, where they hold the ceiling with prayers. It doesn't have to wait for too long, so it doesn't violate the thermopraying principles.

Salute to the 3D modeler who create this video.
@august west yes
everything is crazy here such a hole video amazing❤
@@augustwest1895 Marti must be Musk's cousin, it runs in the genes

smart and strong yes, and unbelievably with a very wide girth, could be put to all kinds of uses. such machine
My job can't plan past next week, and these guys have a massive multi decade plan where they actually can't be wrong on anything. Amazing.
Much like designing, building, and operating our nuclear submarines.
I’m sure they have issues they’re just not sharing them here.
@@Taskarnin well yeah obv they have small issues along the way like broken parts and small things like that
Bro, mine cant plan the next day and all i do is print wrapping paper!
The amount of engineering in this, and pre-planning is wild.
This is truly wonderful. The people who planned these machines..
If I ever need a tunnel, I'll want Marti to build it. Incredible.
I know, right?
That's really, Heavy!
Aperture Science is the most heavy of all time!!
You guy's at Marti, from the labor, the Janitor on up to job completion, are AWSOM!
The engineering, machine design, scale of the project are
as they say ''on another level'' , in other words; Mind boggling!
this is so freaking cool; I wish humanity had this level of competency in more places.
Such a beautiful symphony of hardware, electronics, planning, and labor to make these projects happen.
Very impressive achievement
Exceptional video quality. Never seen anything like this before.
For those who did the animation deserve a raise and promotion.
The amount of work, steel needed, and concrete is mind blowing
This company has the most impressive infrastructure technology I’ve ever seen. I am in awe of their absolutely stunning vision, design, and implementation.
These machines are just are just amazing it is like watching a symphony perform. I would love to see one in person.
Utterly fascinating. What an incredible company. So innovative and technically brilliant.
Top shelf planning, engineering and also animation. A clean and organized jobsite makes for a safe and efficient job.
I imagine this may be on the level of complexity used to safely construct and use space rockets.
Kudos to the 3d team, not only for making such a setup, but so vividly showing us most every aspect of the mammoth operation, that is building a tunnel using a tbm
This is the most complex engineering model I have ever seen. Man truly is limitless. This is an inspiring work.
It was one of the best video i've ever watched on YT 🙂
What an insane amount of innovation and operational management at every aspect! Insane!
I didn’t realize this was a commercial for Marti, it was very informative so I’m not mad
The Herrenknecht Boring Machine makes it all possible. Great project and congratulations to the complete team involved!
Ok this ENTIRE process is amazing.
A first-rate documentary without generic "80s elevator" music. Top notch all the way.
Marti is making IMPOSSIBLE tasks POSSIBLE. Amazing. Breath taking technology.
Thanks marti for this share and this improvement.
With the trust that this company can work in this direction for the protect of our planet and the living species like ours ..
Amazing Engineering !!! Congratulations to all of you !!!
WoW that's quite the imagination to get that designed ! 👍👍👍
The 3d model is brilliant, it's really detailed and informative.
Clever, amazing machine and ability, the way it puts the segments in immediately after drilling is remarkable.
Impressive photogrammetry and CGI. Well done on the editing.
Brilliant engineering, incredible precision 👌👌👌👏👏👏
Marti's videography team is incredible!
what a super sophisticated piece of equipment my friend...
BEAUTIFUL
Great documentary...even though it is a sales pitch at the same time! Make more please!
your videos are superbly done
I know nothing about civil engineering, or really engineering in general, but this seems extremely complex and impressive.
Good job Marty! Top bloke.
Very amazing and
Hard work .
Thank you for your
Good channel very nice video's.
This video is easy and delicious for the common man to understand، great job,

thanks for the wonderful content
أعمالكم جيده وتنفيذ متقن عاشت ايدكم
Сколько труда и средств вложено туда 🤑👍👍
Thank you for making the tunnel, engineers! If it were architects it would have collapsed
Having worked on the buildings on and off for 40 years I know a lot of architect jokes. None of them suitable for children or those of delicate sensibilities 😀
@@AnthonyHandcock Can you tell me some of them?
@@keahnig164 Not really. They are all rather obscene and it's not really fair on the channel owner.
Amazing the things man is capable of building.

Absolutely beautiful
WOW! This is totally amazing! These guys should be building Space Ships.
Great team of engineers
Cok ileri derecede açıklayıcı video için, özellikle animasyonda emeği geçenlere çok selam olsun
Wonderful animation. highly appreciated
LOL, LOVE the heavy thrash metal background music around 5:00 in. Seriously, cool choice and amazing engineering!
Amazing
Absolutely crazy cool…
Simply WOW !!!
Well what can i sat

Respect to the 3d modeller who create this video
Holly molly, what a project !
Thanks for once again reminding me what a pathetic job I have
Good idea 💡
I have recently found a Fascination to these videos
This is colossal engineering!
And over here A overpass bridge requires 4years and elections
If this is a proposal video that was given to me if I want a tunnel, I would pick these guys to do it.
Espetacular
that is incredible!
Amazing 😊
Excellent swiss technology
Mucha inteligencia en ese proyecto, tecnolgía del futuro. Casi ciencia ficción.
really really nice animation
Thanks.
simply superb
With all this brilliant technology and awesome engineering, we still don't have the right answer how was Pyramids built.
Unbelievable video😮😮😮
Great video, music was intense
I love how they insist of pointing out that everything is made by them

Well, if they spend like 100k for these animations, they better take a credit :-)
Fascinating!
Uhh how long are they planning on making these last ???!! dang their super secure
marvelous
Fantastic
Talk about the ultimate tunnel vision. 👍🏻
Wonderful 👍👍👍👍😊😊😊😊😊

Does welding spatter from the final joining of the inner pre formed cages melt the waterproof liner?
Крутая компания! как в моих грезах
