TBH, though I actually do agree that we should have male inkling/octoling idols.
Most of the official male inklings and octolings are relegated to band art covers or geriatrics (Capn cuttlefish and Octavio) and the rest of the male characters are non cephalopods.
I do agree we could get a male idol but I kinda like how a lot of women enjoy splatoon cuz it caters to them with female idols and shop keepers and such and I dont wanna take that away from them honestly. Tho I wish males got better treatment in regards to stuff like the male victory animations from S1 and S2 returning and better male hairstyles

Okay hot take but the one about Stingrays not being that bad is absolutely true. I'd say Flyfish, Steelhead, Big Shot, Basic Ahh Salmonids, Drizzlers, and _mayyyyyyyybe_ even Steel Eels and Maws are worse, putting them in at least the bottom half. And Grillers and Mudmouths are also worse but those don't count. I feel like I don't die to Stingers more than once a play session tops (the length of a "play session" is "till I get a King Salmonid). There are probably a couple other ones here that I'd unironically agree with but that one stuck out to me.
The real biggest threat are smallfrys

if you die to any close ranged weapon like a clash blaster then that’s a problem
@@squidddy-dg2em clash blaster has an extremely slow kill time, you can’t rush down enemy like a Vshot and it’s has very poor paint. Compared to any other short range weapon it’s really weak and gets out damaged by nearly everything.
it has a pretty high fire rate tho so if you’re already in enemy ink it can oneshot you. the only way you die to a clash is if it managed to sneak up on you, and if you have zero awareness you will die to the clash a lot @@tomatomodest7116

Honestly I don't get the clam blitz hate, I used to LOVE it in splat2n, now people just care less and ranked as a whole mode feels kind of empty and I find it hard to enjoy, so kinda agree that the second game was The best (probably i'm just too attached to it lol)

@@ShurikanBlade I do it a lot surprisingly. it's frankly funny how many comparisons end up existing. usually not direct comparisons, more so around how people play and similar things.
the funniest comparison has to be how both games went into a very open meta with no single best strategy within a the same week or two though.

(i think that if it had to be one single buff, it should only give a sprinkler (the sub weapon) amount of damage when an enemy touches it)
