Firstly, apologies if i sound tired. I found out about this at 10pm last night, i was testing till 1am and recorded at 6am to get it out today, hopefully you guys enjoy this as we all hate getting terrible intakes, hit that like button if you enjoyed it!
I’ve known about this for so long it’s unbelievable. Did you know if you offered the same amount as the potential value of the free transfer the club will accept as long as the player is still available on yth contract. This helps avoid the sell on profit clause that comes with just signing on approach to sign.
Puskas Akademia in Hungary. Dinamo Tbilisi in Georgia, Maribor in Slovenia, BATE in Belarus. These clubs can sometimes produce some regents which are cheaper alternatives!
This is pretty much what I do, it's such a time saver and you'll get the same results if you manually went through all the players and scouted them anyway
Not the same, even better results. Sort by potential ability and you could be stealing next messi in a (according to your scouts) 3 stars potential player for the price of a beer
you could just make 2 intake day saves and once you know what the players are worth from the other trials go to the unspoiled save and sign all the good ones on intake day. Even save and mess around with contracts.
An even cheaper option is to make a transfer offer for the player when he is on trial as you'll get him much cheaper than what the compensation would be, plus there's no percentage cut from any future transfer out!
I guess this makes up for my terrible intakes with the best junior coaching and youth recruitment. But yeah if you abuse this then I feel it would take the fun away of finding those regens for a bargain
Trials can be heavily exploited regardless, in the lower leagues you can just filter for the young players in positions you want and offer mass trails/cancel until you find players too good for your division.
Another possible option would be to add to a holding shortlist, then filter by contract status to ensure you’re offering to players who aren’t signed up. I haven’t tried out, but thinking you might be able to do it with the youth contract selection.
This has been going around for a while now. I've been using this method since FM 16 *at least* It also works with young players that already have a contract. As in, you offer 3M for a young star, the selling club accepts it, the player refuses to negotiate. You ask for a trial, they accept it, you put in other transfer offer and the guy wants to negociate after all. This works usually with clubs of inferior reputation. I've signed dozens of youths like this in the past years.
I wrote the comment before watching the video. What I said about players with contracts is perfect for south american teams. I usually manage in Portugal and sign lots of brazilian and argentinian (some colombian as well) youth stars.
Funny to see this as I thought of the same thing a week or two ago. Everyone decided to stay on their teams in the two seasons I've tried this, despite the fact all of them agreed to join on a trial. Andorra is a nice place (I think) T_T
Once you reach the limit and you find out if there are any good players, simply cancel the trials and it resets the amount of players, you can offer trials to
I've been doing this since FM19 ... didn't think of it as an exploit... since youre offering trials to new players. You can also cancel a players trial early, like immediately after you accepted them and find out theyre a 1 star. end their trial. so you make room for more trials. Then i make a new short list of 4-5 star potential and sign from there.
Ok , so this does have limittions. Firstly, you need to look at the intake at 00:00 , because by midday on the same day. the best ones have already signed youth contracts. Second , the best way to do this is in March. The European Leagues (in my game anyway) start their Youth Intakes on 14th March, and seem to continue (not every team announces on the same day) for about 2 weeks (currently testing this on 22nd March). I can get the teams to trial me all their kids, but I can immediately tell which ones must be the good ones, as by 12 Noon on the same day, those players have signed Youth Contracts (not all of them sign right away, only the best ones). So the window here is very very short , miniscule, and if you move on more than twice in the day, odds are he has a deal in place and you're done.
I was wondering about that. I've received a few messages saying my 15 year olds were poached. They're so young I can't even go into their profile to check stats...
This is actually realistic. Chelsea have no say in the trail. If he is not under contract, as it is in real life. A youth intake is basically just a trail in it self and more often then not in real life young players have trails with multiple clubs. What is not realistic is knowing the talent of the player that is just 15 years old, that is where the problem is. There must be some more difficulty or chance in young players to make it realistic
As soon as my contract was accepted, they just went and signed a contract for the club they were already at. I did it for like 5 different players and it happened every time. Any way around this?
This basically is poaching and works better ( only ) if your club has the bigger reputation. However the REALLY good players seem to be insta signed by their clubs often and can’t be stolen like this
I found a way to get them cheap once they come on trial Go to offer remove percentages so they cant negotiate percentage instead of 3.8 for a player I got him for 1 million no add ons Also dates vary but start going in everyday to the world intake from around the first of March till middle of April till they dry up Brazil intake around September Argentina around start Feb Have signed about 20 players with Arsenal ranging from 160 to 196 for about 20/25 million low wages also
I don't think this is an exploit, lots of youngsters are invited to clubs before they enter in contract talks. Maybe a youngster is impressed by your clubs setup and training grounds and that's how they get convinced to joining you, I actually think this is a very interesting part of FM!
Thanks for the advice (even though it's FM21 and I am very late) but I think what's the best way to find that 30 trial players , just hover on the players and look at their value , some will have insane value like 1.2mil for a 16 y/o (I found only 1 just now) and a few 300k value youngsters. Not all will accept like what you did but most of them will accept trial. (You might also found a few players that only cost 500 lol)
I have to test it as I didn't find any worthwhile candidates, but I'll try at some point. Regarding Brazilian youngsters, the Brazilian law forbids any international transfer if the player isn't at least 18 years old, with the exceptions being the ones in the article 19 of the FIFA Transfer Status Rule.
This even works with the youth players currently signed with the club. I give them a trial of 4 weeks and when the player is on trial I either go for a direct contract offer with some compensation or usually the club is ready to sell the player for less than 5 mil euros while on trial.
I basically gave up on Intakes because it was way too much hassle. Early on I saved, then scouted and then went back to a earlier safe if I missed out on some good talent, but I did that once and never again.
On fm20, is it possible to merge my u20s and reserves together? They are basically the same so I would like to merge them so I can have less players on the wage budget
I have been doing this for a decade maybe longer. Will be sad if it disappears, it was so awesome to save the game the day before regen day of the country you want, load up genie scout and see if you have the regen you want and then sign him on regen day and just pay compensation. If I didn't see the regen I wanted I would just load up the save and go again. Used this tactic mainly on my saves where I would take a 6th tier club to the biggest club in Europe like the mighty Solihull Moors. Looks like I will have to pay for them from now on.
this is cheating. no different to previous version knowing intake days and trying to poach everyone. whole point of dynamic intakes was to stop that and make it more realistic
So I just tried a different approach on this "exploit". It seems you are much more likely to sign a player if you DON'T use the "Approach to Sign" option, and make an offer to the team instead. Not to mention they ask much less money if the players are still unattached, than the one you might have to spend on compensations (although monstrous newgens are an exception to this rule).
Wouldn’t say it’s an exploit as such. But personally I think there should be a cap on how many players you can sign on youth intake day. Otherwise you can easily buy all the wonderkids and ruin the game?
You could also just... Not do that. Is anyone holding a gun to your head, forcing you to buy all the wonderkids? It's a singleplayer game, let people play how they want.
I always thought that. You football manager gold. You can play any league in any era and change history. Database would too big I reckon. Go back 20 years and get Lionel messi as a regen for Grimsby town.. ha ha
Okay this is interesting but I guess wont work at a lower league side unless you are pretty rich due to the compensation that most clubs are after...also more likely they may reject anyway due to the club not being a top league one?
Each league begins on a different date. The highest ranked team/s will get their youth take on day 1. Then the lower ranked clubs will be on the days after that. It might take 10 days or more for a whole nation.
eu já faço isto desde o fm 14 ou 15 provavelmente! tentei por acaso, a ver o que acontecia, e funcionou. "deixa lá ver se funciona com os outros". mudou a forma de contratar regens até agora
@Ms Football Manager www.google.com/amp/s/www.passion4fm.com/football-manager-2018-newgens-dates-annual-youth-intake/amp/ maybe u can used this as guidelines
This is straight up an exploit Idk what's the doubt? Do you think that if Chelsea had a promissing young player coming through the ranks they would allow him to go on trial at Everton and just receive a compensation? And would that player even want to go to Everton? The answer to both of those questions is a very likely no... However if it is a player in a lower league in Brazil or even in the Brasileirão and you're big club European club ie Everton he would probably be willing to go on trial and his club would let him because most clubs don't want to keep players there against their will and they would receive a somewhat decent compensation for said players
On intake day you can just make an really low offer, always goes to like 1mil i n the end. And the guy will always talk to you if your reputation js high enough
I will not do this on my save, it almost sounds like cheating in some cases. I've made this way before in FM2012, I've got a world class 5 star potential wonderkid from PSG to Lazio.
I get what you are saying, but regular transfers being mostly impossible due to clubs asking for ridicoulous prices for their outh players, this is actually a good work around.
It’s an exploit, but stealing players from Chelsea, Man U, and other big clubs is a good thing! You’ll easily dominate in your save though, which would be boring.
Very interesting i like that....do you have one for signing players who cost lets say 450k and the club selling wants 30mil ( like lets say sign him for less )
legit cheating...where is passion here..that smile on your face when you realise that you found a wonderkid or something like that with your own scouting??..sry but this isnt right... its not posible in RL..maybe in 1/1000 ..have fun
Si should stop putting cheats in the game because they are spoiling it for everyone I hate cheating I never do it why do si sell in game editor because its cheating as well
I don't know what country you are in; the game isn't that expensive at the moment as we are so far into the cycle for FM20. I just saw it online from around 17/18 pounds for the PC version and in the mobile version for under 10 pounds in the google play store (both UK pricing).
Firstly, apologies if i sound tired. I found out about this at 10pm last night, i was testing till 1am and recorded at 6am to get it out today, hopefully you guys enjoy this as we all hate getting terrible intakes, hit that like button if you enjoyed it!
Great video as always, Jamie! The content as well as the effort behind it is truly appreciated. More power
Luke wouldn’t be tired
Tired? Just sloppyness in general
Hi Jamie the Reyna guy looks good but his potential is four star no?
I’ve known about this for so long it’s unbelievable. Did you know if you offered the same amount as the potential value of the free transfer the club will accept as long as the player is still available on yth contract. This helps avoid the sell on profit clause that comes with just signing on approach to sign.
Puskas Akademia in Hungary. Dinamo Tbilisi in Georgia, Maribor in Slovenia, BATE in Belarus. These clubs can sometimes produce some regents which are cheaper alternatives!
To even "work around" more you could save once its intake day, load the save into FM Genie Scout or FMRTE and narrow down the search lol
This is pretty much what I do, it's such a time saver and you'll get the same results if you manually went through all the players and scouted them anyway
Not the same, even better results. Sort by potential ability and you could be stealing next messi in a (according to your scouts) 3 stars potential player for the price of a beer
Can someone make a video showing this method? Sounds great
I think the point is do the thing without 3rd party software.
you could just make 2 intake day saves and once you know what the players are worth from the other trials go to the unspoiled save and sign all the good ones on intake day. Even save and mess around with contracts.

If they haven't been signed by their club, then I reckon you'd be entitled to offer them a trial.
This way everybody can build a world class team in 4-5 years 🔥🔥🔥
thats the reason that this is cheating :D
Fifpro World XI starting eleven lmao
I guess this makes up for my terrible intakes with the best junior coaching and youth recruitment. But yeah if you abuse this then I feel it would take the fun away of finding those regens for a bargain
I did this for 4 seasons and my team already packed with wonderkids on every position
Trials can be heavily exploited regardless, in the lower leagues you can just filter for the young players in positions you want and offer mass trails/cancel until you find players too good for your division.
Can’t win anything with kids? You can now!!! Love it great video! Defo doing this now
Another possible option would be to add to a holding shortlist, then filter by contract status to ensure you’re offering to players who aren’t signed up. I haven’t tried out, but thinking you might be able to do it with the youth contract selection.
Great point.
Tried this yestersay works a treat.
But u have to be super quick.
2 days or more and I find it was too late
This has been going around for a while now. I've been using this method since FM 16 *at least*

I’ve known about this since fm19 but I think you’re club status has an effect like championship trying to poach from EPL
I got recommended this video today, just as i have my youth intake day (14 march)
Youthbe always know
Once you reach the limit and you find out if there are any good players, simply cancel the trials and it resets the amount of players, you can offer trials to

How can you stop simming at 00:00 exactly?
I just had one of my 15 yr old players poached by Rangers in my Aberdeen save, so if the AI can do it it’s not an exploit!
I was wondering about that. I've received a few messages saying my 15 year olds were poached. They're so young I can't even go into their profile to check stats...

i defenitly will give this a try. what the hell? kinda weird. that will beat the game mechanics
As soon as my contract was accepted, they just went and signed a contract for the club they were already at. I did it for like 5 different players and it happened every time. Any way around this?
I think just offer more money
Where can I find the youth intake dates around the world?
This basically is poaching and works better ( only ) if your club has the bigger reputation.

Have signed about 20 players with Arsenal ranging from 160 to 196 for about 20/25 million low wages also
Thanks man exactly what information i was looking for, excellent :)
you need to know when the intake days are though right? How do you know that?
David Caddle always around mid march
Mid March for European countries, sep-oct for brazil
Do you have to wait a week to get rid of all.ones you dont want? Or can you send back early? Also does it cost you anything to trial and send back ?
I don't think this is an exploit, lots of youngsters are invited to clubs before they enter in contract talks. Maybe a youngster is impressed by your clubs setup and training grounds and that's how they get convinced to joining you, I actually think this is a very interesting part of FM!

Brilliant, just signed a 15 year old 5 star french defender from as monaco
Star ratings are not an accurate description of a player's ability. A 5* player in national league would still be worse than a 3* in premier
Sometimes 170ish PA can be better than 190 if they have good base stats
I have to test it as I didn't find any worthwhile candidates, but I'll try at some point.
Regarding Brazilian youngsters, the Brazilian law forbids any international transfer if the player isn't at least 18 years old, with the exceptions being the ones in the article 19 of the FIFA Transfer Status Rule.

That’s great. Thank you for the video
This has changed everything
After a few weeks, there's thousands of kids - there's no way to keep up with this, without it becoming as tedius as a full time data entry job.
I basically gave up on Intakes because it was way too much hassle. Early on I saved, then scouted and then went back to a earlier safe if I missed out on some good talent, but I did that once and never again.

you need pregame edito

this is cheating. no different to previous version knowing intake days and trying to poach everyone. whole point of dynamic intakes was to stop that and make it more realistic
No such thing as cheating on a single player game, and why can the AI poach my youngsters and I don't even have a chance to keep them, but we can't...
I've been doing this and found some absolute gems
Thank you for this. Absolute game changer. Is this intake day as your intake day?
Where do you find that intake page? The resolution is bad I can see the tabs at the top
Nevermind just my 4g being slow
So I just tried a different approach on this "exploit". It seems you are much more likely to sign a player if you DON'T use the "Approach to Sign" option, and make an offer to the team instead. Not to mention they ask much less money if the players are still unattached, than the one you might have to spend on compensations (although monstrous newgens are an exception to this rule).
Hey, have we tried if this hack works for FM21?
How do you get to that youth I take option screen that you started on? I don't recognise it
ok this is an amazing game changer
My intake was a week ago if u had upload this yesterday man I would have been rich
TheGfxJG don’t cry 😂
I wish fm would introduce legend players through the editor a bit like Fifa does with ultimate team.
Just answer me a question if you could.
Whats the specific date for each country to when the regens appears?
With fm20 intake dates are dynamic for each specific club
Each league begins on a different date.
The highest ranked team/s will get their youth take on day 1. Then the lower ranked clubs will be on the days after that. It might take 10 days or more for a whole nation.
In march
Does it still work in fm22 guys?
How do you even get on the intake screen guys?
Click the world 🌍 button at the top and then click transfers and then choose youth intake
A friend of mine told me this I think 3 years ago 😄
eu já faço isto desde o fm 14 ou 15 provavelmente! tentei por acaso, a ver o que acontecia, e funcionou. "deixa lá ver se funciona com os outros". mudou a forma de contratar regens até agora
Is there a list anywhere of the dates for the differing countries youth intake days?
@Ms Football Manager
Can you share that here when you are finished with it? Thanks.
Please
Please
@Ms Football Manager www.google.com/amp/s/www.passion4fm.com/football-manager-2018-newgens-dates-annual-youth-intake/amp/ maybe u can used this as guidelines
Yes please share it with me too when it's done
This is straight up an exploit Idk what's the doubt? Too bad I’m in Vanarama and none of the players will accepts trial, 😥
So when i press space to advance to the next day it usually goes to around 8 am. Any tips on how to get on midnight?
Can't you just add them all to a shortlist and load it into genie scout saves the trouble haha 🤣
On intake day you can just make an really low offer, always goes to like 1mil i n the end. And the guy will always talk to you if your reputation js high enough
You have to be in the higher leagues too, I've tested. Even 5* rep with a league 2 club will get rejected
Did this once a season my u23 and u18 is full of young neymars and ronaldos lmao
I been doing this for few years on fm
...anyone notice the name at 00:09:39? The super mario? :P
I don't even know how to navigate to that screen.
Where do I find this screen? I really can’t find it 😳
click the world at the top and then click transfers and then hit youth intake
I would love if fm gave you a transfer ban for doing this haha good work around though
it worked on fm19 for me too
If your club has a high reputation, 99.5% of the players will join you
What the hell, lol thanks a lot. This is actually a game changer haha
Interesting
It’s an exploit, but stealing players from Chelsea, Man U, and other big clubs is a good thing! You’ll easily dominate in your save though, which would be boring.
Lmao we have a lot of future Kantes in our youth team
Maybe they have to accept the trial offer as they aren’t under contract
Very interesting i like that....do you have one for signing players who cost lets say 450k and the club selling wants 30mil ( like lets say sign him for less )
legit cheating...where is passion here..that smile on your face when you realise that you found a wonderkid or something like that with your own scouting??..sry but this isnt right...
its not posible in RL..maybe in 1/1000 ..have fun
or you can use the editor and transfer them instantly, this is pointless!
Si should stop putting cheats in the game because they are spoiling it for everyone I hate cheating I never do it why do si sell in game editor because its cheating as well
I believe Sports Interactive will modify this after seeing this video.
Oh please, the "wage after international appearances" exploit has been well-known for years and it's still present.
@@llSuperSnivyll what's that?? Do share lol...
Yep another cracking way to cheat the game :/ sigh
Hope SI see this and fix this
This is a huge exploit, you shouldn't be able to poach the best intakes from other teams.
Why not? They do it to you, I've had a few saves where it comes on my inbox that a youth player has been poached by Madrid or Barcelona or whatever
The best ones rejected him tho.
Doesn't work anymore
It's works on 20.4.4.. Those patches was for Epic Game mess
Big exploit, destroys fun with game, signing all the best talent from all others? so boring
Dont do it then😐
I hate to be this guy but I absolutely love FM but I’ve never actually owned it, you should do like a giveaway so one of us can get it
if you have never owned it how can you love it? how do you play?
I don't know what country you are in; the game isn't that expensive at the moment as we are so far into the cycle for FM20. I just saw it online from around 17/18 pounds for the PC version and in the mobile version for under 10 pounds in the google play store (both UK pricing).
