    Hey that is a great little recipe! I'm gonna order that elevated rack! Question regarding natural release.
    It seems like that takes really long, do you have a set time for how long to naturally release before you finally do a quick release or maybe we need to cook the rice longer so a quick release can be done? Thanks.

    • @KitchenTipsOnline
      @KitchenTipsOnline  5 месяцев назад

      Thank you for your kind words; I appreciate the feedback. Regarding the debate between a slow and natural release of steam, in my view, if you prolong the cooking time and then opt for a quick release, you'll likely end up spending about the same amount of time as if you simply allowed it to depressurize naturally. Enjoy the recipe! Mike 🧔

    Good idea, but in south florida, we dont rinse the rise and in the instapot we use 1 cup of long grain rice to 1 and 1/4 or 1/2 cup of water. People with high BP, try using dehydrated garlic with no salt.

    • @KitchenTipsOnline

      You can use fresh corn although it may be overcooked. What I would do to prevent overcooking is break the corn cob in half and put it in two separate pieces of aluminum foil with some butter. That should cook the corn perfectly and bump up the flavor with the butter. 😋

    By the time the pressure builds, and food cooks, this can all be done faster on the stove. Pressure cookers have a place, but there are so many ''new'' recipes that are faster to make on the stove than in the pressure cooker.

    • @KitchenTipsOnline
      @KitchenTipsOnline  5 лет назад +3

      ilma ba, yes obviously any electric pressure cooker recipe is a faster way of something that can be done in the oven or on top of the stove. The one great thing about electric pressure cookers is that you can turn them on and walk away. Not something you can easily do when you are preparing something on top of the stove. Mike ☺

    • @KitchenTipsOnline
      @KitchenTipsOnline  7 лет назад +2

      My guess is you are going to cook it in aluminum foil so that you can use garlic and butter. And if that is the case, you will need to cook it for at least 12 minutes on high pressure. If you want to cook fresh salmon that's not frozen without putting it in foil, then you should cook it for 7 minutes.
