Another A+++ video. Never apologize for your English. It is perfect (compared to most in California) and it is what makes your videos so charming. Your choice of music is perfect and how you frame your shots. You have a gift, keep at it as it is perfect in presentation. Job well done and thank you for making such wonderful videos!!!
Agreed! Not even native English speakers have the best quality. I get tongue-tied and I'm not always great with grammar. You are amazing and we all love your videos!!!!
Your Government should give you a medal for doing all these videos. My wife and me love your videos so much, that we already booked a trip to China this November. Love your work. Thank you. 🙏💕
1:17 I cannot be the only person who heard you talk about people correcting your English and felt protective of you! Your English is excellent. Full stop. Many native English speakers have smaller vocabularies than you do, and all of us still have a few words we misuse and/or mispronounce! Thank you for another wonderful video. Between your videos and Walk East's channel, China is #1 on my list once I can afford an international trip!
i highly doubt these people are proficient in the language themselves because they feel the need to boost themselves up by putting others down 😆. you know, self-congratulation
I don't see why anyone expects her to speak perfectly when it's not her native language. I would love to hear them speak a few sentences of Mandarin. They probably couldn't do it.
China is a vast country and there is so much to explore. Honestly, You have everything mountains, rivers, food, cultures, ethnic groups etc. It can take a life time to explore all.
Please don’t ever apologize about your English. Your English is absolutely perfect, flawless, impeccable. You speak better English than many people in the USA. You, and your videos, are so delightful. I enjoy everything you share with us so much. Thank you for taking time to share your travels and your great knowledge with us. Safe travels 🙏. Blessings from the USA 🇺🇸❤️🙏
If people ever give you a hard time about your English, just know they are trolls. You are incredible and perhaps my favorite RUclipsr! I cannot speak ANY Chinese, despite the fact that I have a Chinese niece who speaks fluently. You are way ahead of me! Keep being your amazing self!
greetings from New Zealand. I so miss China, my wife and I traveled with our son in Yunan in 2019, for a month. I want to eat with you at the street markets. I so enjoyed the street food. We also visited Xing Ping which I watched in your video yesterday. You flew your drone over the guest house we stayed in beside the river. Yak cheese dumplings dipped in honey made by a Tibetan cook in Tiger leaping gorge. Very good memories. Thank you for these videos.
I rarely comment on videos, but I thoroughly enjoy your productions and look forward to receiving notifications from RUclips for your new videos. I started from your Tu Lou episode and have since recommended your channel to others. Thank you for another amazing production, showcasing your beautiful country and its beautiful people. I look forward to when you hit your first million subscribers! ❤
Oh, perfect example of false modesty :) Your English is absolutely fantastic, both pronunciation and vocabulary. Once again, you are the best Chinese ambassador, I can imagine. Thanks a lot for taking us on your trips.
I’m always surprised at how many elements of your China videos bring back memories of my own 1970s and early-to-mid 1980s childhood and early-adolescence in Caracas, Venezuela: In our more rustic downtown squares and plazas we had *nearly-identical* spontaneous inflatable playgrounds at sundown, surrounded by improvised unlicensed kiosks selling everything from balloons to cotton candy and odd little knickknacks … bootleg Hello Kitty keychains, counterfeit Rubik’s Cubes, and for a while a cheap toy called a _perinola_ was all the rage … and the plazas were mainly illuminated by light spilling from surrounding bodegas’ open entranceways, where adults bought beer and sat on plastic chairs playing dominoes on wooden crates; ambling crowds would form into laughing clusters, I’d run around like a maniac, food vendors would show up, usually someone would play music from speakers through a window, or there could be a full p.a. system set up or maybe even a live band, people would dance, if it was a semi-official party there might be a stage and a raffle, all going on well into the night. My dad loved that sort of thing: we lived in a more developed, upscale but bohemian part of the city - it also had lots of street-life, but not so much for families at night and more for young singles and artists and urban professionals; less improvised, and in some ways more raucous and also great fun for a maturing tween boy, maybe imagine growing up in N.Y.C.’s Greenwich Village in the mid-‘60s - so some weekends or even weeknights he would take Mom and I to see what was happening all around the rest of Caracas … and we would stumble across big public parties *identical* to what you’ve shown! And I’ve never seen anything quite like it since I moved to the U.S.A. … so thank you for the memories, albeit from a *totally* different country, continent, and hemisphere! Across the Global South we have a lot in common. And in many remarkable ways, what a small world this is!
I know it has been two months since you left this comment but I wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed reading it! It left me feeling very warm inside. Sounds like you had amazing experiences growing up! I was born and raised in the densely populated, more developed and predominantly Han east coast of China, these videos open a window for me as well, into people’s lives in parts of my country that I have never been to or even heard of. Strangely, some aspects of the village lives she shows here remind me not of my own childhood but my time spent with my husband’s family in Mexico. The markets filled with local delicacies, the spontaneous singing and dancing and drinking, the hospitality, the public parties… trust me, Han Chinese are definitely not known for our spontaneity or partying. I love the fact that this video reminded you of your childhood in another continent and a completely different culture! It is remarkable how you’re willing to see similarities when some only see differences.
It looks as if the village folks knew you were coming and they cleaned all the streets and alley. Seriously, though you said that this is a poor rural town. Well, I say that they may be poor but they must be very proud of their town - its is clean and does not look run down. A true mark of civilised soceity
The diversity of China's ethnicity, language dialects and the beauty of this country through your Vlogs never fails to amaze me. The peacefulness of the mountains makes me wish I was there. One day I will take some time to travel to all these places that you have showcased. Never stop doing these Vlogs. It brings me endless pleasure viewing them. Thank you
Western propaganda clouds so much China that we believe it to be some poor huge factory. Truly beautiful to see the people leading normal and communal lives, they do not seem to be fear stricken by tyranny like our western govt wants us to believe. insane stuff.

It is not possible for me to travel to these remote, beautiful & unique places in China as the country is so big & diverse. Via your video it enables me to see those beautiful places, the peoples & culture. Keep up the good work, you're one of the best ambassador of China.
Когда я вижу тебя я вижу в тебе доброжелательного, мирного, светлого человека пытающегося показать миру свою любовь к своей родине, к своему народу и природе
Who is daring to correct your English, you are doing great and your channel is a precious gem that needs to be protected. Thank you for providing us these beautiful windows into places most of us will never be able to see any other way.
We are so happy that we discovered your channel. Your way of sharing adventures with the world is charming, informative and professional, and we are learning a lot about China thanks to you. Please pay no attention to anyone who is critical of your English - it is excellent, and very expressive. Thank you for all your videos! :)
I am so happy that your channel is growing. Your videos are inspiring and remarkable. Having lived in China for 8 years, I can remember many of the places you have shown. Many blessings to you as you continue forward.
My wife and I love so much your videos. You show us many beautiful places and people of China. We love your style and your English is so enchanting as well. We are learning more and more about China due to the excellent videos that you make. They are very informative and relaxing, we are eager to watch them. Please continue making these wonderful videos. Thank you very much from Florida, USA.
You are really beautiful woman. You have filmed almost every aspect of the beautiful China and its people which we are unable to explore despite spending lot of money, time and energy. This is a great service to your country. I hope you will be rewarded by your people.
You gonna be a big RUclipsr. I have that sense.. Keep up the good work. we will support you until you got your silver, gold and platinum from RUclips💐💐💖💖
I have been to all the main tourist sites in China but my favorite thing to do was market day ,it's where you get to see the real China the friendly people ,amazing products , just the happiness on peoples faces enjoying life
"i want to be in that car too" we think the same :,))) ALSO watching another east asian woman solo traveling is so refreshing for me, i always get so excited telling other people about this channel. ive esp wanted to watch and learn more abt places in yunnan province in high quality vlog form, thank u sm for ur content.
The pattern on the clothing that the women wear would make interesting study and a source of income for them with respect to tourism, provided tourism don't spoilt their cultural identity too much. Alternatively, similar pattern can be found the tribes located in those region in Myammar, Thailand and Laos.
Granddaughter, again another beautiful journey. I feel so fortunate to see so much of the beauty of China and all the lovely people in their everyday activities. A few of my favorites this trip. The city square at sunset. Seeing how people of so many generations have activities to enjoy. The market place, and as always the drone footage. I screenshot some of these for my watercolor art card projects. I will be sure to credit the location and your channel as the inspiration on the back so friends who receive them can find the actual place on earth that it was inspired from.( nothing professional just for enjoyment to encourage others ) I especially found it sweet to see how you were sharing with others how the drone was filming their beautiful area. That perspective must have touched their hearts. Looking forward to our next trip.🦋🌈👍🌻Marjorie
I am from Delhi India..your presentation of China Unseen is honest and beautiful...I wish to visit it someday...your English is understandable and perfect.....Thank you ..for entertaining us...Love from INDIA.
Sometimes Yan I have to watch your videos more than once. In 1986 I applied to the Arts Council here in New Zealand for funding to study the minority groups of China, and more particularly their DRESS. Yes! Their ornamentation, styles, and stones they used, I am also a Geologist, but more than that I have a wonderful collection of books about land and its people! Your interest has rekindled that, in me thankyou.
Hey this is great, thank you! My wife visited that area last week. We talked on Weixin in the morning and I saw the clouds below the city. Can't wait to see the next videos. ❤
Lovely video. Reminds me of Italy, where they also have towns on top of mountains. I really enjoy looking at China through your eyes and get to see things I would never be able to. So thank you very much for that.
Stunning scenery, it looks like a magical place, even if some of it seems a bit overly geared towards tourists. 😉 I find myself checking for new uploads from you every day - which is something I rarely do. I guess I really like your work. You are very talented and I hope (for my sake and the sake of many others) that your journeys may continue for a long time.
Your videos brings me so much joy! I’ve been sick these past few weeks and I had plenty of time to just sit, relax and watch your videos. They’re all so well done!
Dearest Yan, you do so much to promote your wonderful culture. The Chinese Government's Panda Diplomacy was designed to introduce the world to the Wonders of China. Yan Diplomacy is also introducing the World to China's beautiful Land and People. Xie xie
I can tell you love doing what you are doing, and how beautiful everything is and how wonderful the people are, and you have gotten me to love all of it too! Thank you!
Thank you Yan another fantastic insight into your country. I remained captivated with imagination and nostalgia the entire video.❤ Your production work is great Thanks again my dear always looking forward to your next upload😊
I love how your subtitle often says "I don't understand". As a non-Chinese speaker, I think you understand everything, but it's nice to see your humility come forth often. Great videos! More power to you.
It wasn't humility that made her say she didn't understand. In China, it was normal to not understand dialects, and accents varied tremendously. If she could understand part of it, then the rest could be guessed. But there were places where people spoke minority languages, and those weren't Chinese at all.
So many cool places to visit, and such wonderful drone footage, as always. Looks like you’ll be hitting the 100K mark soon, and it’s well deserved. (Also, the videos keep making me hungry. So much tasty looking food.)
Cuanta vida animada en las calles y qué apetitosa presentas la comida.😋 Me encanta que no se pierda la bonita artesanía tradicional. El sitio se ve impresionante y más aún desde el dron . Gracias por mostrar.👍
I love the music and singing of the ethnic minorities, very emotional. Another splendid video of China which must be the most diverse country in the world, so thank you again for bringing this China into our homes. Like Mark Loh said 11 days ago, you deserve a medal.
I love the authenticity and the quality of your videos! Your English is fantastic, as your accent is quite clear and the mistakes you make are only minor, we can still understand what you intended to say.
So nice, so nice. Just pleasant scenes and what life you capture, just walking around ! Great touch and eye. The aerial views are again, breathtaking. 雲海、sea of clouds”。 What history you are sharing. Thank you so much.
Hello Yan, another interesting visit to a rare gem of city through your unique perspective. Your drone videos are getting better and the music matched very well. Looking forward to the next visit.
Thank you for showing us how China really is. Would love to visit. You say it is a poor area, but the amount of solar panels on the rooftops puts a lot of 'richer' areas to shame. Also, loved the patterns on the traditional clothing. Very nice.
Another amazing video true to the title of unseen China. Love to hear your conversation with the BBQ tofu seller. Non scripted and original and shows the true hospitality of the local people. Keep up the amazing work.
There are so many interesting things in your videos. People, culture, food, beautiful scenery, great atmosphere. Great filming and informative. Love it.
It always strikes me how tidy Chinese towns and cities look. Not sure if it's government dilligence or community spirit, but the near total lack of litter is deeply impressive.
[1] The sunsets, the drone shots - stunning, truly stunning. [2] And you make it all so natural and smooth that we feel we are part of the scene. [3] Your English is excellent (but if you don't mind we'll gladly correct all the little pesky errors). I feel I can say this for many, many other people: You sure have made our lives richer.
The drone footage is exceptional, I could see even the locals looking to see how everything looks from above, really another dimension, fascinating, everyone wishes they could fly like bird and this is the closest they can come.
what a breathtaking place. I love your videos, have been following for some months now. China is a country I would love to visit someday and thanks to you I am able to learn so much!
My husband and I have already become your fans, digging up all your videos and watching them one after another. Your contents are absolutely full of high-quality information. You bring us to visit each place you did from your perspective. A big (important) credit is you even made friends with the locals there and let us have a glance of their way of living with detailed explanations from their mouth. This is what I need from the travel vloggers, and you bloody deliver it to our life!! Kudos!!💪🏻
Every city or province in china that you've been visit. its almost wonderful and very nice, but I hope maybe someday you have to visit xinjiang province because I love that place,, and you filming it. Thanks
Your travel channel is very good, especially since you are a local Chinese girl speaking in English. Your English language skills are excellent. I can't imagine how difficult that must be. Most of all though, your vlog is very thoughtful and gives the viewer a lot of information about where you go, what to expect, prices, etc and I find that helpful for me because I might also one day like to go to some of these places and see some of the things you have shown us here.
I think you're speaking very good English! Better understandable than a lot of the American or other English natives. Your pronunciation is very clear. The tone of your voice is sweet and very clear. Very easy to listen to!🙏
Yes, just love her videos cos many parts of China will not be seen by us ...far n remote. Thanks n keep up with the great job. Will not be able to sustain the long trip n winding road n climb the high mountain. Really doing a great job for bringing us to know those places in China sitting at my home. Huge China 🇨🇳 Brave girl travelling on her own . God bless her in all her filming trips. ♥️
I am an American who worked in China for 4 years and miss it dearly. I came across Yan's video's a month and am blown away at the content and professionalism of the productions. Just beautiful!!!! The young ladies knowledge and delivery is second to none in the video world. Her excellent English is only enhanced and made more endearing with her occasional "misstep." If President Xi Jinping and the CCP were smart they would make Yan China's Cultural Ambassador, give her unlimited fund's and send her anyplace in China she feel's is of importance!!!!!!!
As a muslim in Singapore, thank you for bringing china closer to us.... I have never miss your video.. i know as a muslim is very hard to find halal food in china .. your videos make me ease, dream of traveling there.. your recent video of traveling to yunan i really enjoy it..
depending on how reverent you are, if you can eat food without "halal" label, it's really easy for you to pick your menu by choosing the main part of the dish and ask the restaurant not to use pork ingredients. or you must choose food with the tag, you can easily search for "mosque" on the map, there will always be halal restaurant nearby, and nearly every city has a mosque. or you can search 拉面/清真/新疆, they are all very normal restaurant in any city. and I guess you at least understand some Chinese as a Singaporean, it shouldn't be hard for you.
I actually don't agree your view, halal food is everywhere and muslim lives in most cities also, i have sever muslim friends they bring me eating lots, probably difficult for travellers i guess
@@hcjet actually about in every city/town/district in China there seemed to be some halal restaurant, but after all China is not a Muslim country, the halal restaurant will always be minority, its not that convenient. many muslim who dont practice Islam so reverent, actually will eat ordinary food without forbidden ingredients.

I remained captivated with imagination and nostalgia the entire video.❤ Your production work is great
Thanks again my dear always looking forward to your next upload😊
Your videos are the best! Thank you for showing us these amazing areas in China!
I love how your subtitle often says "I don't understand". As a non-Chinese speaker, I think you understand everything, but it's nice to see your humility come forth often. Great videos! More power to you.
The lady is speaking dialect which is why she say she didn't understand. But yeah she is very humble
Great ! You rock !❤❤❤
Cuanta vida animada en las calles y qué apetitosa presentas la comida.😋
Me encanta que no se pierda la bonita artesanía tradicional.
El sitio se ve impresionante y más aún desde el dron .
Gracias por mostrar.👍
Thanks
Thank you :)
I love the music and singing of the ethnic minorities, very emotional. Another splendid video of China which must be the most diverse country in the world, so thank you again for bringing this China into our homes. Like Mark Loh said 11 days ago, you deserve a medal.
Such a beautiful city that I otherwise would not have known if it weren't for your video. China has so much majestic treasures.
Your English is absolutely good👍❤️❤️
China looks really magical, hope I'll visit it someday!
Love it.
Another beautiful location and more amazing drone shots!!❤❤👍👍
Gorgeous. I've always wanted to visit China and am living vicariously through your travels for now. Thank you
Can see only but cannot Taste and Feel.
this is amazing.... thanks for bringing us around!
cant believe this is a one girl army, producing a such high quality series! you truly have a gift
I"m an an Irish-American from Arkansas. My wife and I enjoy your videos. They have a lovely atmosphere.
I love your videos. I have always wanted to travel but don't have the funds for it. This is lovely being able to see China. I love it.
what a breathtaking place.
Kudos!!💪🏻
Another excellent video! 感謝您展示美麗的中國。
You do a wonderful job speaking english.. Very high quality videos as well. Joe from USA.
你的视频很棒。 这就是为什么中国是我的下一个目的地。
Parabéns!
Every city or province in china that you've been visit. its almost wonderful and very nice, but I hope maybe someday you have to visit xinjiang province because I love that place,, and you filming it. Thanks
I watched Liu Tianhui with Rudy Chen from Indonesia’s YT as well. Think they visited XJ
Your travel channel is very good, especially since you are a local Chinese girl speaking in English. Your English language skills are excellent. I can't imagine how difficult that must be. Most of all though, your vlog is very thoughtful
and gives the viewer a lot of information about where you go, what to expect, prices, etc and I find that helpful for me because I might also one day like to go to some of these places and see some of the things you have shown us here.
I always learn a lot about China from these videos, thanks!
航拍太美了,山顶城市太有趣了,每期视频都很期待
Your drone shots are always so amazing. I'm sure the locals of those places have never seen it from that point of view, and they should!
Thank you so much for these beautiful videos. There are so many places in China, I want to visit because of your videos. Keep making them.
I really enjoy seeing the citizens wearing the traditional clothing, and the embroideries are so pretty
Absolutely amazing views, thank you for a virtual ride, Yan. 🙏
I really love your videos! My travel list for China is growing quick with your recommendations.
More power to you and your show!!! I love watching your travels!!!! Thank you for taking us wherever you go!
You are China's most under rated Tour guide in youtube. Your videos are amazing! Your channel deserves a lot more subscribers.
Photography, music, encounters with locals- everything is amazing. Great work again!
Congratulations on season 2! We love your videos so much.
Wow, how you handled people's criticism of you proved a lot of maturity and humbleness. Hopefully they will learn the same thing through your example.
放心每个城市都有《兰州拉面》纯正清真食品。
I love how you bring us all to China. That's how good your videos are
I love your videos. And your English is amazing. If I ever visit China I would be honored to have someone like you as my tour guide and interpreter. ❤
Your English is good and with your native accent makes it even more charming. Love your videos ❤
