- First ride on a Beta 350 4 Stroke. It's been a while since I tried enduro on a 4 stroke and this is a very talked about enduro bike so I'm excited to see what all the fuss is about.

I just went from a 2020 300 XCW with TSP to a Beta 200 RR Race edition and I could not be happier! Imagine your 150 but with the grunt of a 300. Well not quite THAT much grunt but its bizarre how grunty the 200 is.
If you EVER have a chance to ride a 200... DO IT!
I’d love to try one and see what all the fuss is about

My boys both have 200 Betas, they have been great bikes! So much better than the Austrian brands.

Do a van walk around/tour!!! Interesting setup I’d like to know what size van that is + your modifications to it to be able to haul Dirtbike! In the states we just use trailers/ pick up trucks, with a van you can leave it overnight and not have to worry about stealing/weather.
I rode the 23 300 & 390 racing and they’re great bikes! The 300 especially like your mate said they’re planted, the KYB suspension is on point 👌🏼 it’s definitely my next bike choice.

4 stroke grunt. I own a 150 2T too and an FE250. Love the 150. But for me, putting in the hours getting better..The FE is a little darlin. Like a guided missile. It roars along and doesn’t waver, river beds, hills, logs. Such a bloody fun bike. It’s like a horse that’ll take you over mountain range and desert on its own whist you’re half dead lying on its back. Very sure footed and planted, the 350/390, even better and fast as F. Get one, the abuse gets easier to deal with day by day 😂.

I have both the numbers of strokes I love my 300 TPI that I got last month, but sometimes it gives me a new appreciation for just how friendly a 250F is.

Betas do turn better but as standard the older ones have no steering angle. I think 2024 have more lock from factory.

You need to try the Beta 200 RE, I haven't ridden my 300 since I got one
The beta 200 RR Race edition is a crazy bike, top end like the 300 just missing a little bottom but light like a 125 around 95Kg !

Where is it that you go to ride?
You seem to have more fun and be more capable on the 150 than the 300. I think it is because you started riding later in life and haven’t rung a 125’s neck at 13 years old thinking I want a 250. This isn’t a criticism, eventually the 150 will bore you and you’ll out grow it. The point is, to anyone getting in to dirt bikes as an adult. Don’t give in to peer pressure and do get a little bike. You will develop your skills much quicker. Although a 300 isn’t a big engine, a 2 stroke 300 engine is big power and at times still scary even to me, riding off road since I was 4.
So how would you compare the beta350 to the ktm350 you tested in South Africa. Be interested to know if much difference cheers mate
I always thought that the riding you do would suit a smaller cc bike. Im not surprised you love the 150 more on those trails. I have a 350, and they dont disappoint. Great bikes all round. The new ktm 350 is so smooth to ride it almost feels like you are cheating. Love the content

Don't do it to yourself, I tried the 23 Beta 350, it lasted 10 rides, got so sick of the BS I got rid of it. Pro's - handles well, nimble, great power. Con's - can't even touch the throttle when starting, needs a higher idle to avoid flame outs, if the stepper motor and the TPS aren't calibrated to the higher idle, it'll run bad, wont start, flame out and stall. ALL this can only be fixed by the Beta dealer using a proprietary tool, closest dealer to me is 1.5 hours away !! Enjoy the test ride, but don't get sucked into thinking these thinks can match the F.I 2T's. Stick with what works for you, Enjoy

Stock betas far superior than Ktm/husky out the crate and thousands cheaper too here in nz. IRC tyre guy explains why too.

Next bike is an xtrainer or 200. Haven’t ridden the 200 yet but the xtrainer feels like a mountain bike and I’m short af so the crf250rx will get relegated to super moto duty.

KTM has a great 500 that I bought after watching your videos, 2 strokes be damned I can rip it on pump gas and keep up with cars on the highway, and it absolutely thrashes in the bush.

It’s awesome to see marsh doing good and back on the bike. I don’t care what you ride just as long as it isn’t a gas gas. Those things are pretty much a way overpriced and unreliable KTM.

When you ride your 150cc you play around alot with it…. Why dont you ever play around with the 300cc Midwest??? I think you would love it even more if you started to play around more with the 300. Jump small roots, jump small bumbs etc etc…. Play, have fun more with the 300 ❣️🙌🏼

To be honest, the two bikes you should have are the KTM 150 and buy a beta 4stroke but sell the KTM 300.
I can’t sell the 300. It’s a hard enduro weapon. Makes everything so easy
