We have the Beta 350RRS dual-sport bike, wet dirt and perfect riding weather. What could be better? The 350 is one of four identical-looking Beta dual-sport bikes that often have riders overwhelmed. There’s a parable about an indecisive donkey standing between two identical piles of hay. Eventually the donkey starves to death-that’s Beta dual-sport riders. In truth the 350, 390, 430 and 500 are all great machines with different personalities. Why doesn’t Beta get rid of one? They say it’s like deciding between your kids. The 350 has the same chassis and most of the same motor as the others-it differs only in bore and stroke. As we have often pointed out, a bike’s power delivery is the single most factor affecting handling. The 350 is snappy and responsive. It revs quickly and has very little engine braking. That’s easy to understand, but the 350 also feels much lighter than the larger bikes. On our scale, it weighs 253 pounds. You would swear it weighs much less. For comparison, a KTM 350EXC dual-sport weighs 14 pounds less. Some of that is in the suspension. The Beta has linkage in the rear, whereas the KTM uses PDS.The Beta also comes with decent, dirt-worthy Michelin tires and rim locks, whereas the KTM has Continental tires that are heavily street oriented. The cherry on the top is the Voyager GPS which is standard equipment on all of Beta’s dual-sport bikes. The MSRP is $11,499. We are riding the wheels off the Beta right now and we have a 350 dual-sport comparison in the works. Stay tuned.

3 months ago I bought the 2023 beta 500 RRS. I’ve been an off-road racer for 30 years and have owned lots of bikes I still have a husky TE 300 in my opinion this beta is by far the best bike out of the box I have ever ridden it truly needs nothing except a new seat and longer kickstand I’m leaving it engine wise all stock. And any up grades as far as hard parts is just a phone call away no problem getting anything. And another note they have the best warranty in the business and the best customer service

I have had the 22 model for over a year and your review is very accurate and I'd like to add that with over 4000 miles of very tough singletrack and some light street riding , I have not had any issues and have only had to adjust 1 valve at around 2000 miles. Zero upgrades besides protection stuff( skidplate from moose and cycra handguards with G2 adjustable inner clamp.

First I wanted a EXC-F, then I wanted a Beta for the pure performance. After watching your dual-sport shootout and knowing I'd have to live with the bike on the street, I settled on the CRF450RL. 10,000 miles later I'd buy the same bike again. Thanks for these reviews.

ferkuzuel , where do you live? I'm in Northern Wisconsin and we have nothing for bike dealers. It's all about boats, ATV's and snowmobiles, yet I now have a Beta dealer a little over an hour away (in MN), and 3 within 4 hours. Just bought my 500RRS from the Mom and Pop dealer in MN and they are selling all the Beta's they are getting. I ordered mine in February and it arrived two weeks ago. The Trials bike they had when I went to get my bike was sold, and they've sold 8 Beta's this year already and again from a mom and pop in rural MN.

If u need a plated trail/enduro bike, the 350 is a lot better than the 390. If u rode the 350 vs the 390 back to back on a trail, the 390 feels more like a heavy DRZ with choppy low rpm power. Its more popular for dual sport cuz the extra torque. But the 350 is so much more nimble and zippy on single track. Great bikes, dont see them much. The 350RR is more popular as a woods GNCC racer
