Thanks for the great video. It’s been surprisingly hard for me to find general tank tips outside of absolute basics. You can find class guides and fight guides but this was exactly what I was looking for. Information that can make me better generally. Thanks for the video!
You should absolutely do a macro video. I'm somewhat new to WoW and, while I can see that macros have immense utility, I still find them rather difficult to understand.
I made mine after seeing someone else using one. There is a similar one on wago here-> wago.io/J9ugKKQ5G I only use it for bone shield, however I am going to expand mine more for the war within. Too many things to keep track of with hero talents.
i’ve always had backpedal unbound and to an ability when i pve whether it heal or dps however recently i’m tanking keys and perhaps raid and i’m wondering if it’s worth rebinding to backpeddlr
I use back peddle all the time as a tank. It's crucial for positioning and to keeping you facing the mobs. Not sure of your keybinds but I use 1-5 Shift + 1-5 Q, E, R, F Shift + Q, E, R, F And then two mouse buttons regular and with Shift
@@ThePrefessionalSure, but in the first 30 seconds you're going on about how a tank needs to know every single mechanic in the raid, and pick up dps and healer mechanics if those roles fail to do that. No.. You don't. There are other dps and other healers for that. Stop being pretentious and making it sound like tanking is hard or that you need to have all this knowledge going into it. All you're going to do is scare any potential new tanks who want to get good away. They'll think they need to have all this knowledge (which they don't) and all this skill (which they don't.) in order to be able to tank the latest raid.
The title of this video is "How to Become a Top Tier Tank" the thumbnail says advanced. I've included the context to those 30 seconds of what you're quoting. "The average tank will know their mechanics and where to position the boss. A great tank will not only know their mechanics, but they will also know the mechanics of the other roles" This video is not targeted towards someone that hasn't tanked before. My other video is for entry level tanks. At no point in this video did I say tanking is hard or challenging.
maybe in the future dont use ai imagery for a thumbnail? it's highly unethical and there are thousands of free-to-use "orc holding axe" artworks that you can use whenever you want
While I understood your viewpoint, it is something I'm experimenting with. I will not fully migrate to AI art, but the current A & B testing has yielded positive results. Almost a 3% increase in CTR, ai vs non ai. Which is pretty substantial. So I'm not all in on it yet, but it will probably still be on some future thumbnails. Depends on the content.
Unfortunately, we are hitting that point where AI is a strong tool that yields positive results. In a competitive field, if you're not using all the available tools, you're going to get lapped by people who do. Unless regulations or laws are created, this is just kinda how it is, but I do get and understand where you're coming from.
