Long term Ferrari owner and mechanic here. I much prefer the older carbureted Ferrari’s, far more visceral and they’re not so fast you worry about being arrested every time you open the taps. There’s a reason they’re so collectible and pricey now.
Same, I love a nice super car but it's 10 x or 20 x of a supersport or supernaked bike...I have a KTM 1290R and I love it, no regrets, and to know in the next 10 years, I might have the finances in hand to acquire a Ape Tuono V4 Factory or Duc Streetfighter V4S and it'll still be way cheaper than owning and maintaining a super car.
yes, but you are far more likely to die in a motorcycle accident than a ferrari accident. Is your life only worth $300k? I am of course being a bit dramatic, but I want someone to convince me to get a bike. I fear death. I want to have a family in the near future, but I am also 25 with disposable income.
@@chanmanthegreat1429 That is a fact, that you’re in more danger. There’s no way around that. It’s just something you accept when you get on two wheels. As a motorcyclist since i was 16 i have a real love for bikes but also for cars too. There are pros to cons to both. Motorcycles are more fun but they are also way more inconvenient. To get real enjoyment they require the weather and road conditions to be good, they can also be really inconvient travel despite their ability to be able to filter. I have considered myself a car guy for awhile. The future of cars for enthusiast's has been super bleak the last few years. This is what started my interest in bikes. Manufacturers in the bike world still prioritize making something fun which is something more and more rare in the car world. Bikes are cheaper and more fun in basically every way. Yeah the whole emissisions and 'saving the planet' ruined the fun in cars... It's a shame there is no high reving n/a car like the mighty Honda S2000 9k revlimiter anymore
I completely have the same thoughts as you. I am a car guy and hate how we are going further away from the cars we love. Its all going electric and hybrid. automated, heavy, soul-less machines. The only thing keeping me from bikes is my fear of death. How do I get over this mental hurdle?
Practice, plus safety gear. The first couple time you swing a leg over a bike you will be nervous but trust me. It’s one of the best feelings in the whole world!

My 28 hp supermoto is more fun that my 150 hp Miata and equally as fun as my 300 hp MR2 turbo. The sound will always be better on my MR2 though, and I can put a suprising amount of stuff in it.
I unintentionally found a way to make cars less boring, remove the windshield 😂. I did this once because my car's windshield broke. It's exciting, eye watering, and also embarassing 🤣.

💯💯💯💯💯 So right bro. I have a Jag and have a kinda crappy entry level sports cruiser. I ride the bike twice as much as I drive the Jag, and I know that because odometers don't lie lol 😂
I ride and to be honest they’re two very different things. The difference in grip a slightly hot car let alone a Ferrari F8 has in the corners compared to bikes is phenomenal, driven at speed on a twisty road by a good driver that Ferrari would still make you shit yourself in the passenger seat. It’s apples and oranges, they give you different feelings.
This X1000. I've noticed that even seasoned track bikers are extremely calm when accelerating in a quick car, but they absolutely crap themselves when you don't brake before the first corner. They're just not used to the cornering G's. That said, most racecar drivers have no idea how to control a wheelie, so it all cancels out.
Yeah, I know a guy who is a competitive shifter-kart racer and he took another friend for a mountain run in his gutted miata with slicks. The guy in the passenger seat has a 1500hp r8 and a ducati panigale. he was shaking at the knees when he got out of the miata.
I’ve had a chance in the past to drive a Lotus my buddy owned. And that little monster was FAST. Just not as fast as my friggin R1 or even CBR600RR. It’s a shame some people will never know the thrill of a motorcycle, because of certain fears and consequences they’ve seen depicted on media.
I am one of those people. Every time I talk about motorcycles around friends or family, I hear a story about someone they know who died on one. EVERY TIME. I also look at the statistics, and I just have a hard time pulling the trigger on a bike. I am a big car guy, and several years ago, the day before I bought my miata, I had cash in hand looking at a bike from facebook marketplace. but my life went down the car guy route. How do you justify the danger? I want to start a family someday in the near future (im 25) and its hard to choose between safety and happiness.
I'm a car guy, I have owned a couple of bikes but I just like cars more for the overall package. Bikes are more fun and exciting, but that's all they can be. Cars can be fun and exciting, but they can also be used for many other purposes, not just being a toy for the weekend.
Exactly. I am a biker and a car guy too. Bikes require the weather to be good, the temperature to be nice, motorcycle gear to be worn which is then really annoying to carry about when you go places. They also suck for bringing things with you on your travels. Motorcycles are fun and exciting (well not all are) and depending on the bike great to look at. A car has none of these drawbacks and can be enjoyed at basically anytime you feel like it.
For me, only type of driving that’s more comparable to motorcycle in terms of excitement is driving in snow and dirts in a sporty suv or rally sedans. Controlling drifts and doing donuts in slip condition is so much fun
If you can find someplace safe to drive in the snow is a heckuva lot of fun. I love taking my truck out after storms and crashing snow drifts just to see if I can 😂😂😂
I've felt the same way since I started riding. I bought a 2 door manual sports car thinking it would be equaly exciting or maybe come close... wrong! Any bike will get you more adrenaline...fun :) haha
Like Yammie said the right word is "visceral" ... The worst day bike riding beats the best day car driving... God forgot the government ever makes us get ebikes cuz it just won't be the same.
Ya...I was contemplating buying a Giulia QV this year but decided to get my first bike instead. Will be getting a VX4RR along with many riding lessons. Saves me a lot of money and prob will be much more fun!
You will Love the Giulia QV, speaking from experience! But even with 500 hp a motorcycle still has that edge when it comes to excitement. The QV is very much a drivers car that has a lot of engagement tho.. so I'm keeping both
Been a car guy my whole life, Im 40. Ive always owned a sports car until this year when I bought a new Z71 truck and a new Ninja 400 a and love it. Being able to haul the bike anywhere is awesome.
Gonna be the contrarian here. I'm a car guy first, bike guy second. Cars can be very fun to drive, especially older cars with less electronics and a manual. There are also plenty of car enthusiasts who do not care about the status symbol aspect of it and just enjoy driving. I enjoy both cars and bikes and the two sides just have trouble understanding the fun in both, which are very different
On road - I agree. They're too heavy and too powerful to wring out on the streets (althought I drove a 296 GTB in maranello a month ago and it was a pretty thrilling experience). On track though they are a blast.
I have an Alfa Romeo Giulia QV as well as a GSXR750 and as much as i absolutely love the QV, it simply cant replace the connection you have with your bike. I will also say that having the bike first made me very particular about what car i wanted, a lot of luxury cars feel very insulated and would honestly bore me, so that says a lot for the Giulia too. They both have their places, and one definitely doesnt replace the other.
I've got a 'sports' car then I got a bike a couple of years ago and there is no comparison. Even when I'm driving spiritedly, I'm still sitting on a chair with my belly flapping lazily. When I'm on the bike, I'm sitting athletically with the input of all my limbs. There's something primal about sitting on a saddle and using all your limbs...I venture we've evolved to this stance from horses and the wild beasts we used to conquer.
I have a 2006 Mustang GT (manual) with a full exhaust system. I just recently got a Ninja 400 (same spec y'all have been showing off), and they're both super fun in their own ways for me. I enjoy both equally. The GT more, honestly, so bc I can get sideways
About the red line, BHP is determined by torque and engine speed, as bike engines are smaller they need more revs to develop a high BHP figure that the reviwers and most people look at. If you have so much power that the electronics have to cut in all the time to 'save' you then it's wasted power.
Pushing any vehicle to its limits can be fun. At the end of my shift, when my bus is empty, I drive back to the depot like I stole it. But driving a car or bus to its limits for me is about equal to just riding around normally on a motorbike, a vehicle I would never want to push to its limits on public roads.
As someone who works on cars all day and has been in car culture for most of my life ….I can totally agree that cars have lost a lot of soul … I can’t wait to get into bikes !!! Better crowd… better lifestyle
This is a great series and you’re right. I rented a Tesla and felt like I was driving my phone. How about switching the Ferrari for a 60s 427 Cobra though ?
I definitely feel you when I ride my friend's R1 for about a month, and I rented a huracan for special anniversary for my birthday about few months ago, drove a lot supercars back then for experiencing different cars, but after riding even more liter bikes, the acceleration that a supercar feels are accidentally not that fast anymore. At first it feels really wierd, like you have that illusion all supercars are not fast, that G force it's just not feels the same when you first try on a supercar, which makes me so upset. You really lose your passion and enthusiasm for automobile.
I loved the last gen Toyota Celica GTS, not too fast but it has a fun powerband, lightweight, good on gas and it can carry a bunch of stuff. alot more fun than faster car. then again a grom is more fun than a busa for me.
Drive a manual transmission something, like a Dodge Viper or a Lotus Exige. As both a car guy and motorcycle guy, the raw experience of a bike can almost be replicated by older cars that don’t have as many electronics etc. Cars are too easy now, even Supercars, to drive and get fast lap times. Motorcycles still remain simple, despite the rider aids, and open to all elements (dangerous). I get thrills from both, just depends on what you’re driving / riding. I enjoy my daily Volkswagen GTI a lot more than the Harley LiveWire I rode a couple of months ago.
You want a fun car, get anything with a manual transmission, doesn't even have to be fast. I own a GR Corolla and a Trident 660. Both are fun, in my opinion, but for different reasons.
Different strokes for different folks. Even though I can afford them, I don't want a super car. Plenty of people have them and love them. I prefer a naked bike above any other mode of pleasure transportation. Some people love sports bikes, dirt bikes, etc. Some people love cars.
I've never driven an F8, but I can imagine it being sort of a relatively sterile, smooth hyper-performance experience. Which is not a bad thing per se but... I am pretty sure that something like an Alfaholics GTA would be a very different experience. It's not about the numbers.
I love bikes but when it's pissing down with rain or very cold or whatever. I would rather be in the Ferrari or McLaren. And taking the Missus out for the day or Weekend etc.
Originally I was a car enthusiast. . I have a ap1 s2000 just sitting at my house. But motorcycles ruined cars for me. It’s almost like a sport bike desensitized Me from enjoying cars
Trying a Lamborghini on a track was supposed to be amazing… but it turned out to be a complete disappointment. After watching your video, maybe it was because of my motorcyclist background. As bikers, we’re used to high performance and a very connected feeling with the machine. The Lambo felt slow, dead and completely disconnected. With perspective, modern Lambos are essentially glorified Audi Quattros with Italian looks… so once I stopped looking at it (wow!) and started driving it, it quickly became underwhelming. The conclusion is: To really feel something on the road, maybe we’re better off on 2 wheels ❤
Im a car guy and i own also an mt 07 i must say if you want to feel speed and kick yes nothing can beat a motorcycle is so raw, but on motorcycles you kinda lose the unique factor you can modify ir but not like cars, also im not really a fan of lap times, but there is nothing like slinding the rear wheel, i use my bike mostly for getting to work because i have no were to Park my car but i can bring my motorcycle
So what I'm hearing is... The poll that you took about whether or not to do car videos in addition to bike videos was right. Forget the cars, just do bikes!
Bro a lightweight 300hp car on twisty roads is exciting. This is like driving a touring bike on the highway, except youre surrounded by 2 tons of glass and aluminium.
The motorcycle has always been genetically superior to the car. Cars for comfort, convenience and protection. Bikes for performance, excitement, and fun!
Ferrari’s are awesome but way to expensive for me when for a lot cheaper I could get a Mustang, Camero, Nissan 380z and hove fun and all three of those go fast enough to put you in jail. Still rather motorcycles. 🏍️
I really want a classic manual grand tourer. Maybe an older corvette. If I could afford them a 70s aston, older bmw, any 2+2 European car with GT in the name. Although that's because bikes aren't as comfortable for longer road trips especially with dogs and the wife. Other than that my daily will likely be a hatchback/small suv or small truck of some sort.
many modern sports cars are atuomatic and take away a lot of the feel that gives you that crazy torque feeling. my 500 whp 6spd vette still puts a smile on my face even though it's slower than my bikes.
Ok so I’m a car guy and a bike guy and my opinion is this. The ownership experience of a car is better. There’s more to do. Way more to modify and customize. More meets and social events revolving around cars. More RUclips content and so on. But the actual use and operating experience of a motorcycle is better. My sports car is very fun to drive, but I’ve never driven a car that compared to riding my street triple. Motorcycles are just on another planet compared to most other things in life imo
I love The Prancing Horse. It is ny F1 Team since the Schumacher era. I will not be able to afford one:):):) at 56 yrs old I love My weekend Rides with my 155cc Cafe Racer:):):) Though Im looking for other Rides with the grip of a 4 wheeler and the sort of the open air rawness/feel of a Motorcycle. Like the Caterham Super 7's, Ariel Atoms, Polaris Slingshot.👍👍👍
U need to hop in a hot rod, a classic mussle car, they aren't as fast but u get that raw bare bones feeling mabie not like a bike but with no driver aids a stick shift 4 or 5 speed and a low revving na v8 with gobs of torque and that gorgeous 60s and 70s style that's what does it for me folks
the only reason to get a car instead of a motorcycle is for the girl to not complain about being cold or uncomfortable, other than that motorcycles are superior on everything aspect of it (also cheaper).
As someone who loves/loves cars from a young age even an bein given the chance to pilot my friends 1000hp truck the can’t compare to bikes for money or EXPERIENCE lemme see a $6500 car do 130+ in the case of 600s🤷🏽♂️😂
If motorcycles are not crazy ennough for you, get the $60,000 kawasaki ninja H2R, not the ZH2 or H2 or H2 SX, but the H2r. It has 320 hp. Nothing is crazier or cooler than that bike. Could wheelie in 6th gear
You can do a lot of illegal stuff on a bike on public roads and get away with it, cars not so much. He says "I'LL MASH IT HERRE", floors it for one second and shrugs...because he's worried his 2 ton bright red machine might get caught, and once you're sighted by cops you're not getting away. I would like to see him go full throttle on a bike for 2 seconds and say it's exciting. You can't feel the point of a true track machine while cruising around on a street. I bet this guy shits his pants if he's ever in the passenger seat of a true sportscar on track with a capable driver behind it...I'll bet he's never let his bike tires loose and drifted his bike around, it's too dangerous, but in cars that's where the fun begins....on the turns. Your superbike is a one trick acceleration pony, once a turn comes, that thrill wears off, the butt clenching begins, whereas sports cars drivers are smiling ear to ear while on opposite lock. This is why we don't care for electric cars...in cars, the acceleration isn't everything, it's the handling and how different every car is in that aspect, how you need different skills to tame different kinds...fwd, rwd, awd, front engine, mid engine, rear engine. It's what makes each one unique. If it was just about acceleration, a Telsa would do just fine, but instead, it's the "boring" and underpowered Miata that is the essential drivers car. Somebody said he thought he was a car guy, drove a 911 daily, but a bike is something else. Yeah, because you did some acceleration and had a near death experience on your block😂. Bet he never tried doing something crazy like drifting around an onramp on his way home from work. You're not even using them the same, utilizing a 911 for it's strength, driving it around like a Camry, yet talking about how one is more fun than the other.
I can see the appeal of motorcycles, especially when I love mountain biking. However, getting hit and murdered by a careless driver is not something that I would enjoy. I'm sure half of yall think that you're too good of a rider to get hit, but that is not the truth. Be safe out there
I think yammie should ride something like a knife or a gun since cars are "way too safe" and "not dangerous enough" sounds like he rides bikes cuz he has a death wish
This Ferrari might be boring but... that Panigale V4R sure ain't! Go to yammienoob.co and LOCK IN YOUR CHANCE TO WIN!

About the red line, BHP is determined by torque and engine speed, as bike engines are smaller they need more revs to develop a high BHP figure that the reviwers and most people look at. If you have so much power that the electronics have to cut in all the time to 'save' you then it's wasted power.
A Lotus Elise is one of the closest cars to the motorcycle experience but even that is no match
You can make driving almost any car exciting on the right roads, but the big difference comes in the amount in risk you put on others while you do it
Ehhh compared to a bike it’s boring bro lol
@@givenchymamajama3859 then you have the wrong tires.
@@z33thr33 nah bro I personally love drifting jdm cars but compared to the simple feelings of riding a bike it’s Nathan
@@fenrir7969Would love to see you drift a Greyhound bus 😅 Epic!! 😂
Cars are cool and all, but nothing compares the camaraderie of bikers.
Yammie: do you wanna see cars on the channel
Viewers: no
Yammie: here's a car video
I have always been a car guy but after learning to ride last year, not one car compares to a motorcycle.
Becareful driving in cornfields with it.... someone made that mistake recently
As someone who works on cars all day and has been in car culture for most of my life ….I can totally agree that cars have lost a lot of soul … I can’t wait to get into bikes !!! Better crowd… better lifestyle
Bikes are a million times more fun to work on than a car, and by more fun i mean cheaper and easier.
Display pieces for rich people , yep that's nailed it perfectly .
I can’t drive a car unless it’s manual
So you can’t do easy things 😂
@@okexoticsGood stuff 😂😂
good thing you're not a racing driver
@@ryndrssn Huh? I'm pretty sure tons of motorsports still use manual, or at least a sequential.
Drive a early model dodge viper for the closest thing to a motorcycle
Great video
I like cars (have a v8) but there nothing like riding a bike. Always sort of thought this while enjoying both.
Having tracked cars in the past and currently an avid track day junkie on my motorcycle I can affirm cars are boring in comparison.
I am a car guy, have a track miata, and I want bikes but I just cant justify the danger. I want to start a family soon, but I also want a motorcycle.
Im a car guy and a motorcycle guy and i agree 💯 that motorcycles are way more interactive than a car any day of the week after driving stick cars
I've never driven an F8, but I can imagine it being sort of a relatively sterile, smooth hyper-performance experience. Which is not a bad thing per se but... I am pretty sure that something like an Alfaholics GTA would be a very different experience. It's not about the numbers.
First of all, if you want to drive a car by the experience, you don't go with a turbocharged one.
I tried moving to cars. It cost me a fortune and I’m back on bikes now. I’m down with the sickness.
We need another viper equivalent. Zero comfort. Just a powerful mid engine car as cheap as possible without sacrificing power or handling.
The
conclusion is: To really feel something on the road, maybe we’re better off on 2 wheels ❤
Bikes will never be beaten for thrills per dollar, but both have there place
You need to drive very fast to enjoy that kind of car, but you can have a lot of fun with a smaller sports car on the road
Not as boring as these ferrari vids have been.
So what I'm hearing is... The poll that you took about whether or not to do car videos in addition to bike videos was right. Forget the cars, just do bikes!
Being a downhill mountain bike rider I feel somewhat the same about motorcycles. Never ridden on a track, though.
“Downhill mountain bike rider”
Organ donor?
As the proverb goes four wheels move the body, two wheels move the soul.
Bro a lightweight 300hp car on twisty roads is exciting. This is like driving a touring bike on the highway, except youre surrounded by 2 tons of glass and aluminium.
It’s exciting but it’s nowhere near as exciting as a high horsepower bike in the twisties. It’s never gonna be on the same level bro sorry
The motorcycle has always been genetically superior to the car.
Cars for comfort, convenience and protection.
Bikes for performance, excitement, and fun!
I don’t know. I’ve rode for 16 years now. I still have just as much fun in a car, depending on the car.
A Jeep CJ5 & 2nd gen CRX are the closest to riding for myself.
Perhaps a KTM x bow or a exo skeleton car is what you want
would love to see more car vs bike content, you could collab with Donut media
Ferrari’s are awesome but way to expensive for me when for a lot cheaper I could get a Mustang, Camero, Nissan 380z and hove fun and all three of those go fast enough to put you in jail. Still rather motorcycles. 🏍️
I like bikes but ill take a h1 hummer or classic sport or super car anyway (classics or dodge demon only)
I really want a classic manual grand tourer.
I feel like Yammie has the wrong supercar. He should have gotten a ferrari 458 for the review. Truly think he would had a better experience.
U need to hop in a hot rod, a classic mussle car, they aren't as fast but u get that raw bare bones feeling mabie not like a bike but with no driver aids a stick shift 4 or 5 speed and a low revving na v8 with gobs of torque and that gorgeous 60s and 70s style that's what does it for me folks
because youre old
@ziting5756 I'm pretty young, don't assume I'm old just because I like hot rods and mussle cars
the only reason to get a car instead of a motorcycle is for the girl to not complain about being cold or uncomfortable, other than that motorcycles are superior on everything aspect of it (also cheaper).
Just wondering does the Ninja 400 beat it 0-80? What is the cheapest motorcycle that if faster than the Ferrari?
need a 1000
I used to love cars, then I started riding motorcycles and cars became just basic transportation.
Cars are dull after you have experienced a super bike.
As someone who loves/loves cars from a young age even an bein given the chance to pilot my friends 1000hp truck the can’t compare to bikes for money or EXPERIENCE lemme see a $6500 car do 130+ in the case of 600s🤷🏽♂️😂
Now that's a 2 vehicle garage. Is the Tributo your daily?
Are we watching Yam desend into Andrew Tate?
Greta Thunberg will take his motorcycles away.
@@ronaldmcdonald9322 take away the busa and replace it with an e bike.
Most cars are boring, even super cars can be a little unimpressive compared to a super bike. Makes sense.
Facts man. To me it's just way more fun being on a motorcycle 🏍️
CANCELED!
Do you think it’s because of the fact that you can’t push the car ti the limit like uou do with the motorbike?
There are so many problems with this video number one being that Ferrari only makes race cars
If motorcycles are not crazy ennough for you, get the $60,000 kawasaki ninja H2R, not the ZH2 or H2 or H2 SX, but the H2r. It has 320 hp. Nothing is crazier or cooler than that bike. Could wheelie in 6th gear
You have to spend insane money on a car (ford gt, carerra GT, Mclaren F1) to reach the same level of connection that a motorcycle provides.
You're not even using them the same, utilizing a 911 for it's strength, driving it around like a Camry, yet talking about how one is more fun than the other.
drive a 458 . . thats like the ducati 1098 in ferrari world, also yes all Ferrari's beep like a MF!
Is there a story behind the "forever was unkind" tattoo? Seems like it was done around that scary. Honestly just curious.
Get a gen 1 viper
I can see the appeal of motorcycles, especially when I love mountain biking. However, getting hit and murdered by a careless driver is not something that I would enjoy. I'm sure half of yall think that you're too good of a rider to get hit, but that is not the truth. Be safe out there
I think yammie should ride something like a knife or a gun since cars are "way too safe" and "not dangerous enough" sounds like he rides bikes cuz he has a death wish
im just waiting for yammie to ride a mt09 and review it
So i can finally buy one😂
Just buy it, its a great bike 👍
