Love to hear the discussions about Shelby's. Ol' Carroll was a true genius and a American Icon. Really miss him. But Dennis finds away to keep his memory alive. Forget how rich these guy's are. Great VIDEO Dennis! Shawn.
Adding my "wow." I had an "original" matching numbers 66. Stripped it to bare metal and repaired minor rust with steel (no filler). It was the 6-cylinder with three-speed stick so not that collectible but still very nice when finished. Sold it on to take on another project. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
I used to ride in a convertible GT350 my friend owned in St.Charles Mo., very sweet car with that blue white color combo., My other friend had an Orange Boss 429! Those were the days.
I'm from the UK and I wish we have the great cars that you guys have, we don't have any muscle cars of such, the cars that are collectable over here is Mk1 / Mk2 Cortina Lutus, Mk1 / Mk2 Escort Mexico / Rs 2000 also the Capri 3.0L and then 2.8 L capri obviously we the Porches and so forth, I've often wondered why Ford didn't bring the Mustang over here, Thank you Dennis for taking the time to share your knowledge with others, very interesting and informative, If your interest I own and restoring a Mk1 escort 1300e which is a 1300 Gt but with cloth seats and a few extras like over riders on the bumpers / spot light and a few other bits. I do watch fast and loud and often thought you should have you own show doing what you do here, once again thanks for sharing,
Wooow!! That’s amazing, my fav car of all time. Never knew the story in this one. Wish we saw more of the car tho. The secret undisclosed location is north Scottsdale btw 😝
O boy, you have a died to get my 68 GT S code fastback. Unfortunately it's now in Norway.. mine had 21k original one owner California car which I bought from him for 8k.
My buddy's dad that was going to sell me the GT500 1969 all original he still has the car today he changed his mind and didn't sell it that was 34 years ago when I was standing there
Thanks Dennis, Another Awesome video. You are so much better on this your own show than the other one with you know who. It's all about the cars and the story not all the other bs . No offense because he is your friend or business partner whatever but you need to do more of these with the owners, builders and the story behind the cars. Thanks again. Love me some coffee walk. Cheers.
whew heard about that shelby fanatic before amazes me the 3 industry HEAVIES all together goodness mee sure hope i get something attract one of your attention,s someday
The BEST part about this story is that the world's best mustang was found in Texas by Dennis Collins and sold to the world's best car auction company ceo Craig Jackson. That's automobile history for ya.Get you some of that!!! 🐎
Wish I could could post a few pics if some really rare muscle cars. Someone Dennis would like to stay in touch with he comes up with some awesome barn finds
Yes it's an awesome car but I don't think it'll ever be driven like it should or even seen at a SAAC (Shelby American Automobile Club) convention. Would love to meet him and see the car an have him prove me wrong lol
You never know 1986 my buddy's dad was going to sell me a GT500 Shelby for $13,000.... I was not a mustang man .. and I had like 50 big block Chevy cars original numbers cars.., in the early - 80 - you could buy Big block cars for $800 to $1,000 all day long. Don't know why my friend didn't buy it it was a real one had the Shelby plate on the apron... The friend I took I did sell him a brand new (427 side oiler) crate motor in the crate ...He still has that motor to day still sitting in the crate never did anything with it... He is probably high seventies 80 years old right now .
And that purple Chrysler product in behind them is probably worth more money, if its the one that went through the auction couple years ago for $3.5 million lol
I have to laugh it's called the Mustangs GT350 but I love the Cuda with the 426 Hemi white interior white vinyl top purple which I think takes both of them cars
It's a stunning car and I get the whole rarity aspect but it's still kind of sad in a way. What you have is a 'perfect' museum piece and that's fine, I guess, if you're mainly into enhancing its monetary value. But these cars were meant to be DRIVEN. Driven hard, driven fast. Raced, enjoyed. The thrill and true enjoyment of these kinds of cars lies in the visceral feel, sound, smell, and exhilaration you get from driving them, not polishing them and visiting them once in a while in their climate-controlled storage facility. The thing that inspired Caroll Shelby to design and build these cars was the thrill of driving them. Mr. Collins, I'm sure you personally knew Mr. Shelby and as such could call BS on my opinion about him but from what I've read, I would think that he would want to his cars driven, for wasn't his vision to produce an all-American sports car that you could drive to market and also race during the weekend? It's awesome that guys like yourself have the ability to find and restore such wonderful and significant pieces of history. But I think the car collector world needs to stop worrying about if every washer and gasket on the car is authentic and take these cars out for a thrilling drive on a winding road every once and a while. Love your channel. Keep up the good work. Cheers!
I love it but I can’t get on board with parking a car in a show room and washing it until I die !!! I guarantee my grandson will drive the wheels off it when I die so I’m gonna do it myself!!!!! #RipYourWhip
I had one stole in dec 2015 after my dad died belong to my maw Essie Mae Pruitt and my paw Johnny doyle they stole over 600 old cars my mom still hasn’t told anybody they took everything I had 4 old safes so many baseball cards stamps guns gold coins so much other stuff pray for me Dennis I’m a big fan
One of the things I hate about this level of car collecting and car showing is this arguing over seat stitching. etc.... We have a 356 in the family that I have custody of. You can't touch it. You can't enjoy it. Never sell it because we couldn't stand the nitpicking. Enjoy your damn car.
owning a pristine musclecar is now a hindrance ,an expensive undertaking obviously and a pain in the ass rather than pure joy as it was intended. my friend owns a 100 point gto judge,he drove it once to work and moved it 6 times in an hour because people parked within 2 spots of were it was parked. my other friend has a 1969 camaro z28...dz 302 4 speed car with 20,000 miles and he is the original owner, appraised at $180,000(the judge is closer to $400,000)

Dennis thanks for posting these videos. One of the best online for sure . The variety of the content is awesome.
My coffee walk was a little late today , but nevertheless I love Barrett-Jackson and he has a kick-ass Shelby 👍👍👍👍
Awesome content as usual Dennis. I would love to see a future video on that Dan gurney cuda! What a machine!
Great discussion, but I would love to have seen more of the car!
Watched this twice, absolutely phenomenal!
I used to ride in a convertible GT350 my friend owned in St.Charles Mo., very sweet car with that blue white color combo., My other friend had an Orange Boss 429! Those were the days.

So basically just a 65 shelby gt350 that's mostly original and everything else redone with Nos parts. Wouldn't the number 1 65 gt350 worth more?
Was anyone else wondering how much mr jacksons Bugatti belt cost?!
Awesome
Sure would be nice if you showed the car instead of you drinking coffee.
Greg Cissell I was just about to write this but then I saw your comment. 👍🏻
THUMB#217 If only I watched these in the morning on the weekend........

Oh boy, a Mustang
Pd Money ....better than any and every Garbage Motors produced hunk of trash that's ever been built....
@@branon6565 We can agree to disagree...but I gotta love your name!!
How bout that 70conv 429scj?
I wonder if that Mustangs a seven-figure car now💰💰💰💰💰💰💰🤔
100% it is
Much rather have the 70 Hemi Cuda convertible that you're totally ignoring at this point far more rearer than a 65 Shelby !
So boring but now i want one
...holy grail
I know where a 1946 Lincoln convertible is sitting inside
These guys know there shit
is that the one off fast and loud? btw love Dennis top man!
Rich folks pricing regular folks (that these cars were made for) out of the market.

👌
VERY, VERY C00L FOR SHORE.................
How about showing the car instead of 3 guys standing in front talking about it.
1 word, expensive.
How come we are watching history, and the sound is garbage....
Come on now!
😀👍🇨🇦
I'll go buy a rare car for 100,000 then I will learn a lot about it. Money fcking money.....
carrol farth those seats...................100000000000$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Disappointing, instead of having the camera on you three guys almost the hole time, SHOW THE CAR
So it's a show queen that will never see a track day? What a waste. Real men race their cars concourse is for?
first
Ford people picky picky picky picky picky
cant finish this. two guys talking over each other is annoying
Out of all the episodes I’ve watched And enjoyed this one was just really annoying Thumbs down episode
To much BS. And no pics of cars !!
Great video Dennis keep them coming
