Rode to school everyday in my buddies 68 mustang. But his dad was nice enough to let us take his 67 fastback a couple times too, almost identical to this one but a teal color. Most beautiful car I'd ever seen as a teenager.
Dennis: I neither a muscle car fan or a Jeep fan, but I find many of your videos interesting and I have watched several of them now. I admire the positive way you deal with people. You don't try to squeeze every penny out of them; quite the contrary, and you are very respectful. (I was not expecting that, based on that "other show"). Your "true colors" shine through, and that's a good thing!! Keep up the good work.
I grew up not to far from Alton. I know I'm biased, but that area has the best people around. Simple, honest, hard working, soft spoken people. Need more people like that in today's world. This family seems to be a prime example of exactly what I remember.

I wish I was 30 years younger and could work for you. That's all I know is the 60's and 70's muscle cars. Would love to work on those two cars the 68 & 69 dodge charger's you picked up a little while back. As a matter of fact, I just got back from New Jersey. I went out there to help my brother switch out motor and trans on my brother's 1973 dodge charger. 440 and 727 trans. I have a lot of videos of your's to watch. Good luck car hunting and be safe.

Daily driver/anytime warrior! It ran lower 8's in the 1/8 mile, with 7" cheaters. This was in early 70's. I'd call it a pony/muscle car!❤😎🇺🇸
In 1967 Ford did not put the vin # on the engines, (it was a Federal requirement starting in 1968) only way to check is date codes and matching the engine code in vin # in this car it shows S code 390
I like your style Dennis. Don't argue with the asking price. Just give them what they want and take the car. Go do what needs to be done to it and enjoy it or preserve it for the next owner. Keep it simple😉
Sounds like it has a big cam in it. Gorgeous car. Pork tenderloins are awesome! They are very popular, where I grew up in Iowa, too. We ate them on a bun with mustard and pickles.
Looking at my buddies 67 mustang the other day with original paint 427 and interior. What a sight to see a 50 year old muscle car in mint shape and numbers matching.
Surprised you didn't try and work a deal on that old coup he was leaning on! He even uncovered it for you to see when you walked back in to ask where you should eat!

I’m in Australia & just on 9 years ago I bought an original LHD 68 GT390, auto Mustang Fastback in the Gulfstream Aqua paint colour. It’s all original condition with original wheels & a Marty report, built in January 1968 in San Jose. I still love driving the beast! Great drool review gents!🤤👍🏼😎🇦🇺
I've never run across any single person who knows every single detail about cars like you do. It's amazing how you locate them, you're very fair with people. I owned a 66 gtk Mustang when I was in college. It damn near ate me to death, and I sold it to the owner of Palm springs Mercedes-Benz. That was so long ago I can't even remember. Like all of us there's a car I want back and that's the one and the one you found is really close. Congratulations and I know it was worth working so hard to get that car. And I'm certain you make a dime or two here and there. Who knows maybe someday we will do some business I certainly wouldn't be grudge you your profit
