    Jay and Shane did not disappoint! Neither did the homer whining!

      Jay was shooting lightning bolts out of his eyes at the benches while Churla was checking his jaw. As a fan back in the day I hated Churla, but have come to realize what an honest player he was and I've only heard nice things about him as a person.

    Those two no-look backhand passes between Courtnall and Neely at 2:34 had me rewinding 3x. These highlight reels are excellent. Most underrated channel out there.

      @robjaimes8830 8 месяцев назад +1

      He had a weird tendency to play deep in his net. It made him vulnerable to hard accurate shots like the one Reed Larson had. I’m not sure why he thought that style worked for him.

    Was there a more overrated fighter than Semenko? You hear about how tough he was, but when there starts to be DVD and stuff, all he does is jump guys and fights dirty.

    Although this game is being played @ the old Boston Garden I remember watchin a lot of good scraps on TV when they played @ THE WHALE! 🐳 (Hartford Civic Center)
    Dineen & Francis could play.
    Was Verbeek on this team yet?

    Churla tuned in Miller in that fight. It was obvious Miller just had no power in his punches at all. Even John Kordic might have punched harder. Even when Miller landed clean punches it looked like Churla didn't react at all.

    Liut looking like he did when he played for Team Canada against Russia in ‘81 final. Gave up 8 goals and was pathetic. Canada was stacked with a far better team than Russia, but Liut was absolutely awful. Oh well, 43 years ago ( how time flies)…..
