    Dude the chords you use and the environments and atmosphere you create are literally from another world. Family is my fav one of yours :) chords hit me like a rock, tingles down back of my spine when you bring it all in, that high note of the vocal is neat man - Angelic for sure! Gods truly blessed you man, keep going!

    I have used Paulstretch in the past just playing around but not in a ambient track. I am going to try this method.

    This is awesome! I love that it's straight to the point and you dig right into what you're doing in the mix. I have Omnisphere 2 and have been curious about Kontakt and Native Instruments stuff for a while!

    • @JoshLeakeMusic
      @JoshLeakeMusic  4 года назад +4

      Thanks so much Aaron!! Yeah, Omnisphere is great. It's really really meaty but when you know how to find stuff, it's super useful. Native Instruments is really what got me serious about making music professionally though! I love their stuff!

      I managed to get both for free as a gift from the company. On Native Instruments I have every plug-in. Would definitely recommend them. They have the greatest guitar amps ever created on there too.

    Hey man your music is amazing and really inspirational. I've been making music for a few years but just getting into film scoring. I was wondering what you're using for strings.. they sound super detailed, especially on Dusk to Dawn. I have some stuff from Spitfire but nothing that detailed. Thanks for this video btw, really helpful!

    • @JoshLeakeMusic
      @JoshLeakeMusic  4 года назад

      Hey Mike! Thanks so much! I use Spitfire Albion One for a lot of my strings work. On Dusk to Dawn, I had a friend play live violin and then layered that with software strings. Most of the time I use Albion One and then will layer in Kontakt Factory Strings quieter in the back.
