      That's what kind of music I would've like to produce if I ever wanted to become a musician , if you look at Galimatias he used his own voice, Chords of Orion they use *randomness* and uncertainty to create their beautiful pieces, another example Hayou Miyazaki became successful just by producing random interesting images!

      Yo! Yep, I used to use that a lot! Instead now I use a program called Cecilia 5, I have a few videos on my channel about it and I think it's pretty neat and gives a bit of a better result than paulstretch.

    Hi, kinda newbie here. Interesting sounds and informative video! What makes the deep horn-like sound? It reminds me of the sounds regularly used by Rufus du sol and I’m in love with the dark atmosphere they give off.

      Yo! Well, more or less yeah - a lot of the 'sound' of modern future garage/ambient is the atmospheres and pads, and the foley/percussion. Throw in a deep reese bass, and you're good to go!

      Yo! You can use any granular synth like The Mangle or Pigments 2's granular engine or any other granular synth. Otherwise, you could use a free VST like PaulXStretch to get some (sorta) similar results!

      Yo dude! For sure, you can do any of this stuff in Ableton. I'd check out Max 4 Live's granular stuff in particular. Otherwise, it's just about layering whatever feels right!
