Nine DOES get her a red bicycle when she is twelve in his story of "Twelve Doctors of Christmas". And Twelve has an adventure with Craig, the guy who did the website in "Rose". And Jackie meets the Third Doctor, Jo Grant, Mike Yates and the Master during the events of Christmas Invasion.
@@UCUCUC27 to be fair, a time traveler like him could meet a person, decide to go into their past to see what they looked like as a kid, learn they were lonely on a birthday and give them a red bicycle
This one isn't in the video, but I'll go ahead and say it since it's one of my favorite "sarcastic Nine" moments: Rose [on phone w/ Nine]: Um, my mum's cooking. Nine: Good, put her on a low heat and let her simmer!
I'd like some people to test that. Just place something similarly out of place (but not a blue telephone police box, as people will immediately notice that it's supposed to be a Tardis) and see if people react.
They say your first Doctor stays with you. I'm still heartbroken that he only had one season and that he isn't returning for the 50th. He will always be my favorite.
Thats because he had an arguement with Russel T Davies's production team, I don't even know why he didn't wanna do the 50th, it wasn't the production team that he fell out with.
I have to say that as much as I enjoyed Tennant's and Smith's run as the doctor, Eccleston was probably my favorite from the revamp. In one series he was the perfect cross between nutty and serious, and he never seemed to try and force his own comedy, it seemed more natural. I really wish he'd done the 50th with the others. I like the other doctors, but this guy just did something for me.
I recently became a Whovian, and I remember being a bit concerned when I heard that Eccleston's Doctor was straight-talking and no-nonsense because, even though I hadn't been with the show that long, I knew that the Doctor had to be eccentric. His first two scenes put my fears to rest, and I knew we were in good hands.
+Sad's Channel "Who the hell, are you?" Because people have sometimes have names followed by titles, like 'Alexander the Great'. Who the hell? No clue what 'the hell' means as a title.
Those people must be young and brainless fangirls who were only watching for Tennant and for Smith. I like them booth but. FOR FUCK SAKE WATCH NINE HE IS FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!
Never mind skipping s1 because of Nine; Isn't s2 a bad place to start since you skip half of Rose's character arc and sort of get her mostly finished/ in medias res? The problem isn't fangirls, it's narrow taste fangirls. Don't tell me that Eccleston (and Capaldi, for that matter) aren't perfectly hot, beyond, obviously, having delivered excellent renditiosn of this generally awesome character.
KendrixTermina Rose was always sort of meh for me. She had a boyfriend yet wanted to get laid with -The Doctor - That guy we don't know his name but know he was a companion for a day - Jack -Anyone who looked better than a paper towel Not only that but she's been keeping Mickey around like a dog.... Of course when Mickey matured and finally decided to go with them she didn't like it. When he finally find his new home SHE didn't like it again..
Krisztian Bari Sorry, that's just a downright *cruel* oversimplification. So there was this girl who spent all of her life feeling she was a dropout with no value to society, living the life of a passive sheep, and then she gets shown another way of life/ put in an environment where she can prove that she can, in fact, make a difference, and discover that no only can she be capable and more confident, she runs into people that give her recognition for that, and of course she's going to want to explore that and see what it's like to be actually valued and admired. She didn't exactly throw herself on anyone beyond some playful flirting, and frankly, Jack is Jack. It's not like she gave Mickey any hopes whatsover, she said farewell right away and she doesn't owe anybody to stay together with them, especially not when she's had alot of huge experiences after which she's simply a changed person with a different perspective of the world... Mickey needed to grow the fuck up, and she started to do so slightly before him. I mean, she was 19, at that age you don't always know the best way to handle awkward things yet, she needed to learn that, too over time, and it's not like they would have stayed together if the TARDIS had never come along; While you could tell that Mickey tried to do it right, it was just a young people thing with nothin particular binding them together that was bound to dissolve as soon as any of them experienced a real connection with anyone. In hindsight it would have been better to just tell him straight away that there's no chance instead of being vague to avoid upsetting him right then and expecting him to catch the hint eventually, but she does eventually realize that and try to atone. She was a bit upset when he left for the parllel world because he was still a good friend and she thought she wouldn't seem him again, not because she won't let him enjoy some happiness of his own or still wanted him in that way. It's sort of the natural thing to do when you part ways. If you're gonna feel sorry for Mickey, feel sorry for the time everybody though he was an axe murderer (which was not in any way something Rose deliberately caused), not for being dumped at 20, that, and learning to handle it is a part of life/growing up and it's not like he got that bad a deal overall given that he got to mature, become a badass, meet a parallel version of his grandma and even get a wife of exceptional hots, intelligence, badass and loyalty (Martha) once he was actually mature enough for such a thing. I mean, if Rose just doesn't appeal to you and you'd prefer a protagonist that started out more experienced/mature to begin with, fine, I do like her but she's not exactly my all-time favorite. But to reduce this entire story about realizing one's true potential, refusing to be a sheep, bits of a social commentary and the value/transience of life to "Bitch wants to get fucked" (which, BTW, did not seem to be very high on Rose's list of priorities as all as she passed up the super handsome eager james bond expy for some dude who, despite his charme and intelligence, has his head in clouds of other concerns and is just utterly dense and awkward when it comes to hints of that sort and she seemed completely satisfied with their fairly slow progression) is just plain incorrect, lazy and makes me worry wether you think of girls as only "those sex driven things that owe the sex to you and ought to be perfect blobs of idealized attributes".... instead of, you know, imperfect human beings with thoughts and personal journeys of their own.
KendrixTermina No. There was Donna who had a much worse life and even personality before he met the Doctor yet she didn't want to sleep with anyone. There was Clara who have been dreamed about travelling but felt like she's owing the family so she did take care of them. Even Martha who was like a puppy fell in love with the Doctor only wanted The Doctor. There was so many strong character much before her as well. Rose was all around a bad character and oversimplification is perfectly valid in her case. Sorry but this is the truth fans are forgetting when they are feel sorry about Doomsday etc..
Love the Doctor and Rose's relationship. It's not too romantic, but not too friendly. They joke with each other even when the world is about to blow up. Not only that, but she understands everything he has gone through and believes he can always save the day no matter what. I feel like that hope always made him try.
Matt Smith is a terrific Eleven and David Tennant was superb as Ten, one of the best. But the Ninth Doctor will always be my Doctor for my Whovian self
I absolutely love chris eccleston and David tennant. And im even fine with peter capaldi. But i can never get used to matt Smith. I completely skipped 6 and 7 series . The show completely changed after series 4.
I personally think 11 is worth watching just for river songs character! Matt Smith is great too, probably the most like me, I just can't wrap my head around why people skip 9! Tens my favourite and I'm not too sure about capaldi, he's funny and confusing, yet I somtimes find (unfortunately) boring, as for Jodie, so far series 11 just has a habit of being a bit obvious.
They should of included the scene where Adam had that brain thing & the Doctor kept snapping his fingers to open the brain thing & then Adam's mom saw and went crazy that was hilarious
I think I speak for all the human race when I say we NEED a movie or a TV series where Eccleston, Tennant and Smith are the main characters, and have Billie Piper, Catherine Tate, Freema Agyeman, Karen Gilian, Alex Kingston, John Barrowman, Georgia Tennant AND Jenna Coleman as co-stars, ALL AT THE SAME TIME. I don't care the planet might implode from such colossal insanity and awesomeness, it's a worthy sacrifice!
Secretary: the Lord Mayor's up to her neck in paperwork, maybe if you made an appointment? Doctor:she's climbing out the window isn't she Secretary: yes she is I don't know why but I love that scene
Also Margaret:this is persecution! Why can't you leave me alone? what did I ever do to you? Doctor:you tried to kill me and destroy this entire planet Margaret:....apart from that
He might be mostly remembered for raging at the Daleks, but he also had a lot of fun/explosion loving mania, flirtyness and epic sass going on, some street smarts, too, one of the few incarnations that would ask for info in a pub or check the news on TV instead of doing a scan. Mot of the others would probably go with the scan... IN the pub, leaving the unfortunate companion of the day to explain him to the locals XD While Twelvie has recently displaced him as my overall favorite, Nine will always have a special place in my heart~~ It was Eccleston who first made me love this character.
9 was my first and I love him dearly, 10 is and will always be "my Doctor", closely followed by 12th. 11 though... couldn't care less and could have done without him altogether
Lets all get Christopher Eccelston back to being The Doctor who's with me for a 2 hour and 30 minutes special starring: Christopher Eccelston, David Tennant, and Matt Smith. The Doctors fight against their darkest fears! Daleks, Cybermen, Pig Slaves, The Silence, Rhino Men, Weeping Angels, and More!
I thought it was because he didn’t want to be know as the doctor through his career of acting; when he does another movie/show he might be called the doctor and he didn’t want to be classed as the doctor
I love Nine so much. The only thing I didn't like about the 50th was when she said that Hurt was the warrior, Ten was the hero, and Eleven was the Doctor. I was screaming at the TV "WHAT ABOUT ECCLESTON?" They just completely ignored that there was a Doctor before Ten. Tennant was ok and Smith is pretty good, but Nine will always be the Doctor for me.
The only reason they had Hurt there at all (At least this is what I speculate from what I've gathered-I do know for a fact that Eccleston refused to return) was because Chris refused to return for the 50th Anniversary. He hadn't gotten along with the producers and the rest of the people who worked on the show, he hadn't liked Doctor Who as a child, and he didn't want to keep playing him. Still, not coming back for the 50th Anniversary was kind of upsetting (upsetting=me screaming at the TV)
UltimaFangirl Hurt's dialogue was pretty much written for him. And how cool would've been that part where the Doctors told the Time Lords "because the alternative would be death."
UltimaFangirl Eccleston left and didn't want to come back NOT because he didn't like his part or playing the Doctor, but because he didn't like the politics of that environment. For what I've understood from his words from an intreview, the crew used to be bully towards the other people of the cast... If you search for "Why Eccleston left doctor who" you should find that interview.
LOL....Man he is so underrated but he was an amazing Doctor! I wish he was in the 50th special with Matt Smith, David Tennant and the war Doctor. That would have been aweeesssoooome
Maame Danso he was supposed to be in the special day of the doctor but he didnt want to come so they made up the war doctor in the original script the ninth doctor would have been the one to fight in the war thus why hes the most serious doctor
I think out of all the doctors, nine seemed the most real to me. He enriched the show with so many emotions - it was funny and sarcastic and so real. I feel like that was somewhat lost in the subsequent seasons with the show trying too often to use humour to glaze over some really heavy scenes. Though the subsequent seasons have their own attributes that make them amazing, none of the doctors really made me feel a wide range of emotions as intensely as nine did.
I love the 9th Doctor, my first Doctor and after a LOT of thinking my favorite. I love them all but he just connects with me more than any of the others, through that dark element to him and that personal loss and yet the funny faces and the kindness he still has. I love him. *tries not to burst into fangirl squeals* *fails miserably* NINE!
Then why did you watch this video? XD Bad decision on your part to watch a video about a character you don't like. Unless you just came to hate, in which case...your loss!
I love Nine so much!! He was my first Doctor, I started back in January and now we're into series 2 David Tennant. As much as I love Tennant, I will NEVER forget my first Doctor. My hilarious, cheeky, fantastic Doctor
I remember knowing NOTHING about Doctor who, especially when I saw 9's season on Netflix. Five hours later after waching the full season , I'm looking up different clips from the 60s to today, all because of this Fantastic doctor. 9 will forever have a place in my heart.

Breathing is always so much harder when the credits roll. I've been watching this show since I was a kid. My ridiculous childlike excitement must have been programmed in at that time.
Aw, I love Nine and Rose. My tardis dream team would be Nine, Rose and Jack. I like 10, 11 and 12's versions of the Doctor but for me, the Doctor will always be 9. He only had one season and still managed to win me over completely. Imagine if he'd been there for at least 3 like the others.
"The most boring Doctor" they said, "he would be too serious" they said. Have these obviously comedic moments flown right over the heads of the fanbase?
Rose: Hold on, hide what? 9th Doctor: The transmitter. The consciousness is controlling every single piece of plastic, so it can boost the signal. Rose: What does it look like? 9th Doctor: Like a transmitter.

UltimaFangirl Hurt's dialogue was pretty much written for him.
And how cool would've been that part where the Doctors told the Time Lords "because the alternative would be death."
HNNNNNNG WHY DIDN'T HE COME BACK I MEAN I KNOW WHY HE DIDN'T COME BACK BUT COME ON CHRIS
2:35 ‘The consciousness is using a transmitter’
‘What’s it look like’
‘A transmitter’

LOL....Man he is so underrated but he was an amazing Doctor! I wish he was in the 50th special with Matt Smith, David Tennant and the war Doctor. That would have been aweeesssoooome
Rofl he was..half his face for three seconds 😂
Maame Danso he was supposed to be in the special day of the doctor but he didnt want to come so they made up the war doctor in the original script the ninth doctor would have been the one to fight in the war thus why hes the most serious doctor
venrus12312 yeah I know :/...Its disapponting.
+venrus12312 ...and every time I watch the 50th I imagine Nine in the War Doctor's place. I just can't help it, shoulda been him :)
And people say he was dark. He's more of a light hearted and kind person having to live with his dark past
"Lots of planet have a North"
FGS, Chris & BBC find a way to get on for one more run.
Aw you forgot one of my favorites:
"I'm looking for a blonde in a Union Jack! A specific one, I mean. I didn't just wake up with a craving."
I love those little nuances in English.
I'm so sad that Chris disagreed with the writers and left. I loved 9
I love the 9th Doctor, my first Doctor and after a LOT of thinking my favorite. I love them all but he just connects with me more than any of the others, through that dark element to him and that personal loss and yet the funny faces and the kindness he still has. I love him.
*tries not to burst into fangirl squeals*
*fails miserably*
NINE!
Then why did you watch this video? XD Bad decision on your part to watch a video about a character you don't like. Unless you just came to hate, in which case...your loss!
9th Doctor was the best doctor, 10th was brilliant but I didn't liked him as much as 9. I cried when 9 regenerated.
1:49 I love how direct he was just "uh. . .no" and walks away
that is how you deliver a punch line
wheres “ what are you gonna do? Moisturiz me?”
I love Nine so much!! He was my first Doctor, I started back in January and now we're into series 2 David Tennant. As much as I love Tennant, I will NEVER forget my first Doctor. My hilarious, cheeky, fantastic Doctor
OMFG I DIED AT THE "Take me to your leader" PART. I CRYING!!
"Nothing can get in this room." "Then how are we supposed to get out?" ". . . Ah."
I remember knowing NOTHING about Doctor who, especially when I saw 9's season on Netflix. Five hours later after waching the full season , I'm looking up different clips from the 60s to today, all because of this Fantastic doctor. 9 will forever have a place in my heart.
💜💜💜 Nine. He was my first Doctor. I wish he had stayed longer.
i love you nine MY DOCTOR PEOPLE CAN HAVE 10 AND 11 HA 9 IS MINE you are fantastic
Can I have 7?
Thanks.
yeah you can have him
***** They most likely don't, but NuWho has been running for nearly 10 years now.
i do know about oldwu actually
"Who looks at a screwdriwer and thinks: 'Wohoo, this could me a little more sonic!'?"
"What, you've never been bored?"
16:20 "Look at you all.. think you're soo clever, don't you?!" "Yup!" Asdfojrofjskf ♡♡♡♡♡
When is the Doctor never silly?
When he's being an awesome badass instead ;)
Cool70sfreak Good point
Cool70sfreak can't disagree with that
Or when he loses a companion
Good point
I love Nine. A million times over. He’s legitimately brilliant
I've been watching these small bits and their baby faces get me every time oh my god
Its been a while since I heard 9s voice. Dear god, he's adorable
"Rose, I'm trying to resonate concrete"

When u forget 2 buy a present 4 your friend like
I just started watching Doctor Who two weeks ago and am already on season 5 w Matt Smith but Eccleston is my favorite Doctor.
"Time to go out and stand outside then" that makes me laugh every time
"In return, I give you air from my lungs" hahahah
This made me want to watch all 9th Doctor episodes again for the 100th time haha
The ninth doctor Is what got me into doctor who
I always laugh at thr part when he is eating with the slytheen
A customized title sequence. I'm impressed.
"Our lives are better left to chance I could have missed the pain
But I'd have to miss the dance"
9 and Rose.... always.
7:32 you'd NEVER get away with saying stuff like that nowadays!
26th March 2005, I was 6 years old, my first doctor and no one will ever replace him.
Jack: You're such hard work
Doctor: But worth it 😆
Five Daleks disliked this.
Six.
D Havill one is a cyberman
Seven
+overthemoonwithme And Davros.
+D Havill But... I liked this.....
15:41 Poor Jack, can't decide who to be more jelly off XD
The part where he keeps teleporting her back & when he sprays her in the mouth nearly killed me! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Breathing is always so much harder when the credits roll. I've been watching this show since I was a kid. My ridiculous childlike excitement must have been programmed in at that time.
"Go have your beans on toast"
*A few years later
"Beans are evil. Bad bad beans."
4:52 😂 man, 9th was fantastic
My first Doctor, 10th is my favourite but 9th has a place in my heart, he was lovable chap and I really miss him
One of my favorite moments from the 9th Doctor Simply Nice to meet you Rose RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!
"your face"
"It hurts"
"Looks so gay" me: what?
I didn’t remember that part, I had to watch it 3 times in confusion
Aw, I love Nine and Rose.
My tardis dream team would be Nine, Rose and Jack.
I like 10, 11 and 12's versions of the Doctor but for me, the Doctor will always be 9. He only had one season and still managed to win me over completely. Imagine if he'd been there for at least 3 like the others.
Christopher Eccleston was a brilliant Doctor. Without him there would have been no David Tennant, Matt Smith, Peter Capaldi, or Jodie Whittaker.
He's responsible for spawning Jodie Whittaker?!?
8:05
Doctor: Opening the door
Doctor and soldier guys: (silence)
Soldier guys: grabs guns
Doctor: Smiles (in his mind: oh no)
I loved Jade. And the Doctor's "Go to your room!" XD
i really wish there could have been one more season with 9, he and rose were perfect together.
and 15:52 always cracks me up xD
2:25 Clara Oswald went down those stairs multiple times especially on Christmas Day
"The most boring Doctor" they said, "he would be too serious" they said. Have these obviously comedic moments flown right over the heads of the fanbase?
@Jacob Wood 10 and rose fangirls.... just about people who think 10 is the best doctor and refuse to watch anything else
Rose: Hold on, hide what?
9th Doctor: The transmitter. The consciousness is controlling every single piece of plastic, so it can boost the signal.
Rose: What does it look like?
9th Doctor: Like a transmitter.
Shouldn’t skip nine. He brought this show back to life
15:00 "I just remembered! I can DANCE!"
Rose, I'm trying to resonate concrete was his best line hands down
You have truly made it as an actor when you play the doctor
The 9. Doctor is so cool and funny, I like how he is very organised too, R.I.P 9 Doctor, Long Live 10 Doctor
