I'm an old-school fan. Up to this point, my favorite had been Jon Pertwee (still is). I was super skeptical of the new show although willing to give it a chance. And Eccleston sold me the second he came on screen, 100%. I'm still salty as hell that he only did it for a year. He was perfect. And 6:56 was the capper, the final glimpse of the truth behind the chipper grin.
