I've played drums 42 years. Yes this song comes easy to play but I have all limbs. I've tried to see if I can even move my upper arms/shoulders as fast as him and cannot. His shoulders are as nimble as wrists...thats amazing

So how you manage to generate that speed and solidness with your shoulders, I literally cannot get my head around. I have always drawn a lot of inspiration from people with a disability showing the world 2 fingers and achieving greatness regardless, but this is another level. I think the most impressive thing about this cover is how difficult it would be to play that on the high hat with no wrists. Most drummers will tell you that speed comes from the wrist and using your arms will only slow you down. The fact that Cornel is playing this using all arm strength is VERY impressive and shows that hard work really does pay off.
Everyone who watches this should use it as an example to their friends, or children who always whine about "I CAN'T", or "I'm not smart enough to learn how to do that". Congratulations. YOU are the true definition of the word HERO. As a veteran. I PROUDLY SALUTE YOU. You can WIPEOUT everyone.

I have tried to play basic drums and just never could find the coordination to make it work. You have better rhythm than most people you will ever know. Nice work.

Right handed playing with left foot kick and right foot hi-hat pedal. Tried it once and it was like i was playing a different instrument without success of course. Additionaly, if i had to use only shoulders without wrists and fingers, i would fail big time as this is next level stamina. Dude, you are my hero.
