I am 50 yrs old now and I have had a motorcycle continually since my 16th birthday. In that time I probably have had about 15 Harleys a few chops and other bikes too. Well last year I bought a classic 500 and what a great decision, hands down the best, nicest and happiest bike to ride I have ever or likely to ever had.
It’s the same with Meteors and Hunters (basically the same bike and engine) , Royal Enfield owners are the best people, and a friendly bunch on the whole. I’ve made so many new friends since I got mine.
You are brilliant. I'm 57. First bike at 16. Never not had bikes - big or smal -l VFR's, VTR's Triumph Daytonas..... but: I tried the Classic 350. I ordered one last week, (PX'ed my CB500f) and it's coming Tuesday... and it is the most exciting new bike since my Suzuki AR 50 at 16. I just cant wait. Thanks for the channel.

Finally got my 350 over the 1200 mile mark today. It's a real Jekyll and Hyde sort of machine. Bumble around at low revs and get over 100 mpg or use the revs a bit and become a hooligan retiree. Either way it makes me happy. It's amazing how many people want to talk about it. I've spent hours in the last couple of weeks talking to complete strangers about how it isn't restored and is in fact almost brand new. Have a good holiday !
I couldn’t agree more, my Classic 350 has brought back the enjoyment that I felt on my first motorbike very may years ago. I also have an R NineT, which I love, but I do a lot more miles on the 350, with a huge grin on my face!
There's also the third party grin factor. I live in a quiet Devon village, and in nearly 40 years of motorcycling I've never known a bike like my Classic 500 to make non-bikers, young and old, smile so much. I don't go for a ride without someone giving a thumbs up. At least I think it's a thumb!
I couldn’t agree more, you’re absolutely bang on. Nothing pretentious just solid engineering, beautiful design and feel good in bucket loads. Factor in home maintenance and 100mpg, they are just awesome, grin factor off the scale 😊

After watching all six of his videos, mostly about inspiration, prayer, preaching and teaching, he never once talked about the Classic 350. I then had a moment of inspiration, unusual for me, that it was Freddie Dobbs you meant to say. I also love following him. PS. I want one of these bikes cause they remind me of the old die-cast army harly davidson wla that I got for Christmas as a kid. Those style of bike are the only ones I've wanted since and the classic 350 fits the bill perfectly
I have found that RE owners are the nicest motorcyclists. It feels like a family in some ways. I'm amazed how easy it is to connect with RE riders. Perhaps because they're always smiling at the simple things in life.
Morning Bruce, we are generally a happy, and helpful bunch. I think we seek out more back lanes on the Classic 350, than on anything else. I wasn’t afraid to ride them on my Interceptor, but they are so much easier on the Classic 350. Nice little video.
In 53 years of riding the last year on my Classic 350 has been the best riding ever. This is the first time I have not thought what shall I get next ? Superbly built, comfortable , handles like a dream and is just so relaxing to ride, as well as 105 mpg at every fuel stop. This bike just puts a smile on my face every time I ride her and do not worry when you hit speed limits as enjoyable just pottering, but can still cover ground when you are on a long ride. After a year my bike is still stock other than the touring seats which make the bike even more comfortable. Enjoy your trip !!! 😊

After 40 years on the back or sportbikes, basically since there were sportbikes, and my other scoot being a CBR1000RR, I have found a whole new facet of motorcycling. Yeah my Chrome-Bronze Classic has 160 hp less than the CBR this bike gives me more joy than any bike I've ever owned. Whooda thunk? Cheers from California

Good video again thankyou. Riding the 350 takes me to my happy place. I've had big bikes, in one direction a H D Roadking Classic in another direction a Ducati 999 with termignoni exhaust fitted. But nothing except my old T140E hits the spot like this little Classic 350.

Best thing apart from value ..looks ..fit n finish ....comfort...handling ...good brakes ...😂😉 is chaseing it along backroads it sounds and feels like your doing a trillion miles an hour when you look at speedo and it says 50 mile an hour😂😂😂😂😂 hope your having a blast on NC...atb 3:10

For me, my classic 500 is the best thing I ever got myself. I took it all the way to Montenegro and Serbia from Lincoln once and another time almost till Gibraltar and I loved the ride, every second of it. If you generally avoid the motorways and is happy to cruise around 60 mph, this the best. Even if I get another motorcycle in my life, I hope I never have to get rid of my classic 500.
Bruce, I totally agree with every single word you said, in this video. Johnny Dobbs` review of the red/chrome Classic, was one of many that I watched, prior to buying mine but it was his enthusiasm that really made me think that this was the bike I always wanted. I bought it, second hand, as a second bike but I find myself riding it more and more and it is becoming my first bike. Enjoy the NC 500.

Nice one Bruce! Been out most of today on the Hunter, pootling down the A39 to Minehead ....... perfect bike for those roads, like the Classic and Meteor would be. Done nearly 3000 miles since the beginning of March and really getting into the rythm of that engine and just amazed at the number of people with positive comments about the bike! I 've had many bikes but only single (xt 500 ,my first bike in 1979) and twin. My wife and I , we 've bought a 350 meteor in september 2022 ( our yellow Miss ! ). And we are agree : each day,each ride... Always happiness ! A wonderful World Royal Enfield bikes !

I've also gravitated back to smaller bikes the past ten years albeit a Honda CB300r and that's all you really need here in Hong Kong. Sadly no Royal Enfield dealer in these parts so get my fix by vicariously living through others RUclips channels.

I just got myself a hunter 350 last week , absolutely love the bike , although it's a bit different running a bike in as i have never had a brand new vehicle before😂
Hi Kyle, the pipe is a cheap short bottle exhaust from India via eBay, unfortunately it had surface rust from the start and took quiet a bit painting to stop!, finally I rubbed it down and gave it several coats of red oxide primer then a few sprays with PJ1 Fast Black heat resistant paint and touch wood the primer has stopped the rust! , I like it’s unique note 😁👍 Cheers Bruce
Hi Mick, I bought two 7x5 plates and stick on numbers, one plate I painted satin black and stuck on the black numbers, then drew around them with a pencil then removed the numbers and painted them white, the yellow plate is screwed on then I used stick on Velcro to make the B&W plate quick release 👍😁 Cheers Bruce

Peut être ma Djebel 650 mais faut dire qu'avant plus jeune le plaisir était ailleurs et je pense que j'ai eu beaucoup de chance jusqu'à là....et avec l'âge la sagesse on découvre les plaisirs simples et une autres vision de la moto,de la liberté,et surtout avec la classic une autres communautés,qui avouons le sont des motards qui ont aussi déjà pas mal vécu 😉 ✌️ a tous les motards d'outre-manche et les autres de 🇨🇵

i bought your twin used, heck of deal, smoothest bike i have had the pleasure to own, and i bought an 650interceptor, i think ill sell 650, ride safe and enjoy!
Brilliant wee bikes with a massive character!, in love with mine more than ever after riding the NC500 in 3 days and home after 900 miles was not that sore! Brilliant for such a cheap price new compared to many other companies

I just got myself a hunter 350 last week , absolutely love the bike , although it's a bit different running a bike in as i have never had a brand new vehicle before😂

Hi Kyle, the pipe is a cheap short bottle exhaust from India via eBay, unfortunately it had surface rust from the start and took quiet a bit painting to stop!, finally I rubbed it down and gave it several coats of red oxide primer then a few sprays with PJ1 Fast Black heat resistant paint and touch wood the primer has stopped the rust! , I like it’s unique note 😁👍

Quick question on your rear number plate. Did you make it yourself or get it made? Looks great btw!
Hi Mick, I bought two 7x5 plates and stick on numbers, one plate I painted satin black and stuck on the black numbers, then drew around them with a pencil then removed the numbers and painted them white, the yellow plate is screwed on then I used stick on Velcro to make the B&W plate quick release 👍😁

There seems to be something reassuringly comfortable about these bikes. ..I think i want one. ..or the Himmy 😄... i cant decide.
I was lent a Himmy while myClassic had its first 300 mile service last May, I could not wait to give it back. Just try them both and I bet you buy the Classic 😉
Hi Charles, I can relate to the comfort after just over 850 miles riding up and around the NC500, on stock saddle is never sore even after 400 miles on the 1st day 👍
