It seems more chill and heroic in comparison to the original remix which I think fits Tinker Knight's personality better. Tinker Knight might be based on an old Story I read in a book when I was still a Child. It was called: The Toymaker. The Story was about a Guy inventing Toys for Children and anyone who liked having one. The Toys were very functional and could move on their own, sometimes they could speak and were sentient. That‘s were an evil Count was hearing about it and decided to meet the Toymaker to invent him an Army of armed Toys to usurp the King. At first the Toymaker was frightened about the Man and decided to do as he wanted, but when he saw the Machines he built and thought about what they would do, he decided to let them loose inside the Castle, burying the evil Count and himself among his Creations… I know to this day how sad I was when I read the Story and my Mom decided to put the Book away. The Illustrations in the Book were well drawn. At first they were very colorful and you could see happy faces all over. Then when the Count was introduced it became all grey and dark. Until the Story ended with the Sun setting above the Ruins of the Counts Castle, covered in mechanical parts of the Toymakers Creations…
It's amazing how changing the tempo and mixing around the melody of a song can change the whole feel of the song. Of Devious Machinations was fast but more linear, more driven and its melody had a lower pitch, giving it a more sinister vibe; by contrast, Tools of War is also fast, but its speed and percussion are arranged in a way that makes it sound like a different song altogether, and the higher, mixed melody gives it a more upbeat--almost heroic--feel.
This feels like it's more personal than Of Devious Machinations. This is Tinker Knight with a more heartfelt theme, doing what he loves. ODM is the chaos ordered by The Enchantress.

this is the one where the difference with the original is visible the most. while the SoH sountracks were more dark, SoT sounds more like a knight level soundtrack should, with faith and glory
It's been my personal theory that the SoT tracks are meant to represent the knights before they were forced into the Order, and the SoH are meant to represent them under servitude of the Empress. Like Propeller's theme having a more whimsical feel on SoT that is lost on SoH or Plague's being more chaotic on SoT than SoH
