My dad bought one a few weeks ago and it doesn't only feel cheap, it is cheap. And perfect for what it's supposed to do, bring mum and dad around town and that it does perfect😉
You can buy 2 springs and drive 120 000km on each for price of one Tesla 3 (at least where I live). Not mentioning insurance cost ... So yeah, if you need short range city car and don't car about anything else, it is great choice :)
I have the lower HP one. That bucket brings me to work every day. Around 50km total daily. Battery lasts around 150km middled. The thing is: I charge it on a normal 16 Amp plug over night. Costs me around 7€ per charge. Heating in winter, cooling in Summer, dry in the rain, the music i want and i can even throw my Labrador in the back and drive over bad dirt roads. And I paid around 12500€ 3 years ago. It's a tool that does its job.
@@theairaccumulator7144 I did a look around. For 10k to 12k you get around here: a golf, 8 to 11 years old (that's more than a couple to me), with 80k to 120k on the clock. Compare that to my brand new spring, 3 years of warranty, perhaps 2 more untill something breaks. No taxes ever. One tank full of gas ist around 80€ right now in a golf. Which gets me... 500km? Perhaps 600? Like I wrote: For 80€ of electricity that bucket takes me way over 1000km. So what way is every way?

I am a huge fan of high performance Porsches and BMWs and I think there is nothing wrong about this Dacia. Its a good car for its target audience and lets be honest, its actually absolutely enough for 99% of our daily tasks of driving to work and to the shopping mall.
Yep. Its a grown ups car who realise there's more to life than having a nice sound to the boot closing...like being able to afford more holidays and retiring quicker.
paid 12k euro / 10k pounds for it, new. has parking sensors, camera, apple car play, auto lights, front radar, app control (start heating or cooling via app), range in the summer 200 km / 124 miles and around 110 km / 70 miles in the winter (aircon and heating on), 30kwh fast charge. 5 years warranty on the car and 8 for the battery, service included for 5 years. no taxes for it, free parking in my city. it's a city car, designed for ride sharing and deliveries.
I think Mat is missing the point with this car and any cheap car. This shows why I dont like carwow as much as I used to. Supercars and drag races get booring. And when a review of a cheap car rarely pops up, we are told it it rubbish... Just look at the content from 4 years ago. Thats the kind of content that i liked. Interesting, honest reviews of normal, affordable cars and the odd supercar/ luxury cars.
Yep agree with you 100%. He shits on a basic car because it lacks features. It's cheap ffs, that's the point. They poshed up the channel in recent years everything cheap gets mocked. I watch them less and less as the time passes. Other channels are full of praise for a car like this. It does the job
I think there is a point to be made between moaning about luxury items and just disregard for basic things. You can make cheap stuff but still give a damn. The usb position, no cupholders and rattling doors is not something that would have broken the bank in design. Let's not forget, it also scored a whopping 1/5 in NCAP which makes sense as it sounds like it's made from fish tins. And before I am being accused of stuff, this is my country's car, but it is also the only Dacia I would never consider buying
I mean tbf, a Sandero is a lot nicer for the same price or less. It's not electric, but they really had to take everything nice that the Sandero has out of the Spring to make electric _this_ affordable. It's good for a daily commute or going to get groceries, but you really don't wanna drive this thing if you're going farther than 50km...
@@RealDarkBlade you are also missing the point. It's the cheapest or one off the cheapest ev's out there. It's idiotic to complain, what are you expecting at that low price. You knew what you where getting in. That car has two jobs, to be cheap and get you from a to b. Basic motoring. Thats how they started with the Sandero
I think having the usb above the radio is genius. Those of us who use those phone holders which mount to the air vent it's just 10/10 placement since you can just buy a short usb cable and it'll be right next to it.
@@Andreas_F I got a Corsa and it comes with wired Android Auto/Apple Car Play. The problem is for me is that the USB connectivity for the mutimedia is way below it right infront of the gear shift. So making it wireless with a dongle is the perfect solution for me. Also considering the phone heats up a lot if I put it in that cabby, I HAVE to use a phone holder if I want to charge and use Andriod Auto but also using a phone holder that attaches to the vent will also make sure my phone is cool and won't overheat in a hot summer day where I either way need to turn on the AC. So yeah these holders are quite good if most of the time you're by yourself.
judge it for what it is, mate. It's a perfect commuter car -- it takes you to your workplace and back, for pennies. If your job has charging or you have a charger at home, then range and charging speed are totally moot.
Realistically, why would you buy this if you have an LPG sandero? Same price, similar economy, but way nicer on the inside and it can be used as a real car (Spring is a strict A to B commuter or a local grocery getter due to the lack of fast charging). For a private buyer, the Spring does not make any sense whatsoever.
@@ilyamerzlyakov5540 "you buy this if you have an LPG sandero?" Because LPG isn't ubiquitous, despite being around for decades. A 3 ping plug is. My nearest LPG station is 23 miles away and i live in a town of 110,000.
I applaud Dacia for coming up with the Spring. Thus far, euro manufacturers have concentrated on building heavy, extremely fast and very expensive models aimed at the wealthy/business users. If they want private users to embrace the electric car they need to focus on efficiency and produce products at retail prices your average joe like me is prepared to pay. The Spring may be a bit too cheap and cheerful for some but the principle is spot on. I dont want or need a two and a half ton missile that will do 0 to 60 in 3 seconds.
In Romania, till last year, the Romanian state offered a voucher in value of 10.000€ for electric vehicles. So people bought Dacia Spring for 7000€, which is a good price😁
This Video is a good example what went wrong in the last decades. In the 70ies/80ies this car would be at the upper luxury end. Just get yourself in a Fiat Panda/Uno from early 80ies and there will be zero complaints about the Spring.
But, a new Panda in 1980 was 2800.00, with inflation that would still only be 11,200 today. Even today's cheap s**t is more expensive that yesterday's cheap s***t!
@@florianmallok7770 I'm quite happy not to have voice control, heated seats and a heated steering wheel. Every Toyota comes with enough safety equipment. Even the Aygo X is a reasonable price. Once BMW took over Mini all they saw were dollar signs. Same for Fiat. And VW with that stupid camper van. How many hippies do you know with 50k lying around under their hemp plants?
@@aacmoveI know more than a dozen people with a camper van (not only from VW though). What is your point anyway? I've criticised with my comment the tone of todays auto journalists, who are mocking about plastic quality in even the cheapest car and other non-driving related stuff. It seems they ignore people who just want to drive from A to B and don't care how a door handle feels, since it's nothing essential for that cars driving purpose.
@@florianmallok7770 I guess my point is from the 50s cars were seen as transport for the masses. Cheap, useful and not always well put together (blame the British Leyland for much of that). However, quite cynically from the manufacturers point of view, cars are becoming luxury items, with over inflated prices which don't match luxury quality. Where once we had wood we now have recycled pampers. And, incidentally, I know not a single person with a camper van that starts at 58K Euros, and hardly anyone who will buy an EV.
This seems to be unnecessarily harsh and unfair. It's designed to be as cheap as possible. It delivers everything people need, nothing else. Would I want one? No. Would I buy one if it was all I could afford? Yes. Edit - Stop with your tired comparison with used cars. The people who buy this want low monthly payments and a warranty. Again. I still don't want one. But it exists for a reason.
Im sorry but it can't be much more to include at least one cup holder. I've never seen a car without one. And how much does adding a mirror cost really? 10p? If you had 16,000 to spend on a car this is the last car you'd get, lets be honest. You'd get the 1 year old £15k Zoe instead.
This review felt a bit arrogant. The average Spring buyer doesn't care about the price of your watch mate. Have you seen the price of petrol and other better cars? You seem to have lost touch with reality. :D I agree that the Spring kind of sucks, but it's a great option for plenty of people who need a cheap and reliable runabout.
to be fair, i don't think ANYONE cares about the price of his watch. personally, it only serves to make me think he's dumb for buying it and then again for bringing it up
Well he's probably on a high end six figure salary thus can afford what he wants, but based on the clothes he wears and what he personally drives he does come across as very materialistic hence showing off his watch.
Maybe the success of the Dacia Spring shows that quite a lot of people just aren't bothered about range, performance, 0-60 times, cheap plastics, cupholders and all the other things that dominate the average car review nowadays. They just want something a cheap runabout for their daily commute, going to the supermarket, and other day-to-day driving. As long as you can charge at work or at home, the Spring delivers those things (although I admit that the back-to-basics approach seems to have gone a little too far with this in my opinion).
Exactly. Those same people also do not care about safety nor care about themselves nor their own loved ones that they transport in that vehicle. It has a 1-star euro ncap rating. So, the day something goes wrong, you won't live through it. If the same were to happen in an old Golf, you'd be totally fine, nobody hurt ;)
Al things are relative Matt, not everybody regularly drives exotics, super luxury cars or even modern cars. My everyday ride is a 21 year old Mitsubish Pajero with 545,000km, I reckon the spring would be quieter on the road, possibly faster accelerating too.
Spring owner here. You kinda forgot the very nice connectivity features that allow me to turn the heating on in winter and Ac in summer. Really love that feature. Other than that, yeah, it’s a s…tbox, but we absolutely love it. Also, with subsidies, we only paid like 10k €, and you just can’t beat that price. Mine has fast(ish) charging, you can actually do a full charge in ~1h. Oh, and a final thought, it is absolutely without a shadow of a doubt a city car, and for that purpose, it’s great. Shuffling kids, grocery shopping and such, great. You kind of need a death wish to go on the freeway with it as it’s absolute top speed is 130 so … yeah. Still, we love it.
Isn't 130 adequate? I live in a hilly country with lots of winding roads and that speed is more than enough. Can't even imagine going over 80-90 without yeeting yourself off off the mountains.
@@extremedrivr It obviously doesn't fail, when so many are buying it. The car is a very good city car. You don't have the relatively high fuel consumption for city-driving, but rather a very energy-efficent small electric motor. You can charge it using electricity that definitely is cheaper than fuel, and you have no problems getting into tight parking spaces. The car produces way less noise pollution than any ICE car, and you don't have any local gas emissions, which is a very good aspect. Yes, it is very low quality and cheaped out on every corner, but for a majority of people, that's alright. They need something that gets them from point A to point B, and that as cheap, easy and reliably as possible.
This is the sort of electric car we need. £100k plus taycans, electric SUVs and whatever else are impressive, but they are enormous and way too heavy. Family cars needn't be over 2 tonnes and 9 feet off the ground.
You seem to have forgotten that the main purpose of a car is to get to places. From what I can see, providing you don’t want to go too far, this is the ideal way to do it, without causing a stink.
I think that in his acquisition of wealth, Matt has forgotten that not every one is wealthy. Many people just want a functional car and Dacia is the only brand who recognizes that. Props to them.
Like he said at the end, it would be much better for you to get a 1 year-old Renault Zoe for the same price or ANYTHING ELSE really. For 15k you can get a great used petrol car, unless you are one of those annoying environmentalists.
Dacia can recognize that but cant recognize safety, of which this car had really poor values? No matter how poor you are, you are better off buying a 5000€ 5-6-7 y/o car which is way safer than a 10000€ new car which is basically unsafe
I agree with all his points lol. I'm a mechanic and drive alot of cars. But this car is awful compared to any new car or even cars from around 2005. I will never get this car even if it's dirt cheap.
The world will always have a lot of people who want cheap transport that gets them from A to B. Back in the day the 2CV was revered. Now we seem to mock anyone trying a similar tactic?
I feel like the closing point was perfect. For the same money you could get a lightly used car that is just vastly better in every way. If you HAVE TO have a new car for some reason, sure it works. But really only then.
Referring to it a few times as a bit "poverty", isnt the coolest. We have this as a petrol in South Africa called the Renualt Kwid and I think that anyone having a car (Africa or not), is a source of pride and should always maintain that standard from the reviewers point of view.
Yeah, this car starts from £15,000. That's not "poverty" money, it's still a lot of money and an insult to people who are genuinely struggling to put food on the table! 1 in 3, or over 4 million children live in poverty in the UK, which is absolutely disgusting, but I'm glad their parents will all be able to buy this car since its a "poverty car". Nothing wrong with saying it's cheap, but saying poverty is tone deaf and shows how out of touch Mat and Carwow must be.
Maybe don't spend money on ciggarets and cheap beer evey day, don't smoke your lungs and don't fuck your liver and you will also be able to afford a 6k watch. And a Yaris starts from 19k, so bring a better argument.
They don't "think" that, it's just not a lot of money to be made on cheap cars. There's so many costs you can cut before you end up with a car that's a literal safety hazard and Dacia is getting pretty close to that point. The real problem is that a lot of places have shit public transit. You don't see a lot of cheap cars in Vienna for example, and that's not because everyone there is rich, but because people who can't afford a decent car would rather just use the excellent and affordable public transit.
@@vaxian837no money in it? And still Dacia is making millions and millions for 10 years and is 1 of the biggest growing car brands in Europe. So how do you explain that?
When I lived in 'the city' I owned a 20 year old Fiat Punto. It was cheap, practical, easy to park, simple and didn't matter if someone bumped into it when parallel parking. The Dacia Spring is that car but new and electric. Great for short trips around town and just outside of it and it can't get much cheaper. Adding more stuff to make it sound and feel more premium only adds to the cost, size and energy consumption of the car. If that's what you want then Dacia and Renault have other cars you might be more interested in. This car is cool because it's unpretentious. It's honest and you get what you pay for. Nothing more, nothing less.
In France we call it a "déplaçoir" it just gets you from A to B and is really handy around the city hence the success. And it might look like a Renault Kwid but most technical parts are different, safety rules in Europe are much higher
Hmm, not a fan of this review. Agree with others that much of it comes across as a bit arrogant. The car is fine for its’ target market. Those of us lucky enough to be able to afford a bit more should remember that. Yeah, there is second hand, but for new its good. It has a surprising amount of equipping for that price and will keep a lot of normal commuters happy enough.
People these days also dont appreciate comedy and a warning presented with brevity. This car is dedicated to those that need a ev but also hate to drive(and maybe themselves in the bargain).
Uhm, no, it's isn't good in any way. Uncomfortable, zero ergonomics, borderline dangerous, every bit and detail shout that noone ever gave a shit about the passengers that were going to use it. For the price of this, buy a one year old of any of the alternatives mentioned in the video; now, that is a good car. This shitbox should never be allowed into production...
Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid... It's meant to be a cheap citycar, so to judge it at 'high' speed doesn't do it justice.
The fact this sells well, holds its value well kind of tells you this is what people want because its cheap enough to be a second car for city use which is the majority of our driving meanwhile owners have a proper car for long trips
That's what a lot of people seem to be missing. It is to be used as a city car, and also ideally as a second car. But then again, I think it will come updated for the UK market, so some of that nastiness might get ironed out.
This review perfectly shows whats gone wrong with carwow. Used to love it when you had honest, down to Earth reviews of normal cars. Now it's all just drag races and super cars 😴 and when there is a normal car (like this one), Matt misses the entire point of it.
So you didn't watch the video then. Maybe if you did you'd hear him say it's perfectly good for the cost and what it is? Or maybe you didn't watch the whole thing and just rushed to comment?
Far too harsh; it's a car to transport people to and from market, like the 2CV. Part of the problem with the direction of modern car design is this kind of negative review for anything short of a fully appointed lounge with F1 performance. It's also worth noting that 7kW charging matches that available to most households without an expensive upgrade to the supply. Even public chargers local to me are predominantly 7kW, plus four 22kW and a single 150kW, in a town of 150000 (source zap-map).
My brother in law has a top of the line SUV and a 45 HP Spring, he adores driving the spring in town, it moves fast, it's narrow so you can squeez by tight spaces, you ALWAYS have a spot for parking and parking for electric cars is free even in parking lots where you normally pay for an ICE engine. And he bought it with government incentives at nearly 50% off, which was around 11k Euros. For that price there's no better town car on the market in Europe right now.
Although Mat did his usual snobby car review of a cheap car (he only gets really interested if it has a German premium badge on it and is worth around £100,000 or more), I can see why this car will be popular. It is just a VERY cheap to run, city car. It is light for an EV and pretty efficient, and as noted in the video, because it already quite cheap, depreciation is in real terms, very very low (unlike those German overpriced premium cars/EVs Mat loves so much!). With a cheap overnight electricity tariff this will cost about £1.80 to travel 120 miles on your own terms. Not bad.
All of that is true but let's be honest it's pretty unwise to buy this car when for the same price you can find a used car that's still in good condition and will run better.
@@ChiliM4nThere's a reason used cars are cheap. You never really know what you are buying, what was done with the car, with EV especially the battery state is not so simple to check, as usually there are ways to manipulate the data car shows. Additionally, with a used car you don't get (as much) guarantee. And every single element of the car wears down, so you will have to spend more on maintenance and repairs, especially as they are bound to be more expensive for the expensive cars. So overall, it is not that simple. And unlike every single car reviewer, real people often don't care about whether the plastic under the windshield is hard or soft...
@@jankoodziej877 First of all no one says you have to pick a car with 300k kilometers. There's plenty cheap used cars that are 2-3 years old and didn't even pass the 70k kilometer mark. I have never had any bad experience with a used car. Where I'm from (Switzerland) you don't just buy any random used car, but you check it thoroughly at what garage the owner bought the car, if he's the first owner, what he is like and most importantly if all the government checks were done and if the regular service has been done at a trusted dealership and if the service book is filled out properly. Those are all big guarantees. You talk about things getting worn down but I honestly prefer a used Toyota/Hyundai over a brand new cheap dacia car which wobbles around on the road and makes weird noises when driving around. It may be new but all the cheap materials will wear out so fast.
The quality of this car is visibly worse than something like a Clio or Corsa that you could buy for similar money, or a slightly used Zoe or other small electric car. You realise he tests those cars too right? His point is that the Spring doesn't make a lot of sense when compared to alternatives and compromises too much. My auntie has one (she lives near Paris) and it replaced her old Clio Mk2 1.2. So it's just as slow, just as cheap feeling inside and just as tinny sounding. But she doesn't care about all this. It's transport, nothing more nothing less.

evaluating this car on top speed and refinement seems pointless when this is priced to replace a petrol city car; nobody buys a city car for long trips. this car seems perfectly placed as a runabout, only unlike previous attempts (e.g. Honda e) this one is actually priced correctly.
As many have commented here, I am actually disappointed at Matt for not recognizing what the car is about. As a car reviewer he should have stayed objective. I actually own one of these and this review really cracked me up in a good way. I think most people that get it will never actually care about the negative things you've mentioned. I think the cure for fixing the performance & quality problems mentioned in the video is to ignore them by actually trying to be thankful for the little things. Having an attitude of luxury/being unthankful is really unhealthy. Be thankful to God!
Carmakers and the press have to realize this! Some of us just want a cheap car, we dont care about 0-100kmh accelaration, or imense top speed. Just a affordable car to buy and maintain.
Just some background of this car. The car was actually totally designed and made for India launched in 2015 as Renault Kwid and become a big name in country but in India it comes with 0.8L and 1.0L. Later it was modified from inside to make it a electric and launch in Europe.
As city transport it's fine. In Romania you get 10k EUR subsidy which means it costs 7.8k EUR, it costs less than the subsidy, even the extreme costs 9k EUR after subsidy
Brits don't know how "fortunate" they are to have such low prices for the second-hand market. Despite of how much Zoe depreciates, a year-old one will be at least 25k€ in most parts of Europe.
Depreciation became a joke in the last 4 years because of the inflation and the market. I sold my 9 year old Sandero for more than half the price it was when new in okish condition and low mileage. I was looking for funsies at the used market for my current car and I can sell it at like 15% depreciation after almost 2 years (with low mileage). Used BMW 3 series with low mileage barely have more than 60% depreciation at the 5-7 year mark.
How can you expect that something like this is equivalent to a Porsche Taycan but pay less than 20k? It’s cheap to buy, you only get the total basic, and enough range for a day or two driving. It’s perfect! It’s probably not gonna make you smile as much, or break your bank in anyways and your teenage daughter will be embarrassed of you. But who cares? It’s just a bloody car and doing its job just fine.
We are completely missing the low end for EVs here in North America. This would also sell like hotcakes here if it were under US$25k. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with a lightweight car; cars are too heavy these days.
THE US government would tax it anyway so it would not be cheap at all. Last year, in Romania the government offered vouchers of 10k € for EV, so we bought the spring with under 8k € lol. Now I believe it s only 7k, still good value even with 10k😂
I'm not in North America so can't claim to know better, but I do seriously doubt this would sell in a country where F150s are flying off dealer lots in the hundreds of thousands. Why would this tinny shitbox sell more than Minis or Fiats when gas is so cheap that nobody gives a shit how much they burn?
I have always been fascinated by minimalist cars and have enjoyed owning a few that I bought used, starting with a series of Opel Kadetts from the '60s. Scooters and poverty-spec mini-cars may not be on many teenage bedroom posters (is that still a thing?) but can still be a lot of fun to thrash around in the city.
Hired one of these for a couple of weeks while on holiday in the south of France and it was absolutely ideal for what we needed it for. Cheap, cheerful and efficient!

I drove the Renault Kwid when I was working in Africa. It's a cheap car but was pretty durable and good for driving over bad roads. Kind of felt appropriate for the environment. Quite liked it.
Disappointed with the review. Is just talking trash about the car when the car is a perfect replacement for an older car that most people use as a everiday car to go to work. I wish i had a dacia spring for my day to day things
in Brazil this car is actually called Renault Kwid, and it has A LOT of problems. For example: the steering box just breaks in half in the middle of a road trip or something because the weld used on it is simply too thin to cut costs..
Let's say your need is just to drive to the shops in the city, this is perfect. Why do you need to be able to do 0-60 in 2.5 seconds and spend £60,000+, especially when the speed limit is 20 mph. Spend the money you save going on nice holidays and making nice memories.
By the way, the French don't like people showing off how much their £6000 watch cost them. It's a cultural thing. Sarkozy showing off his Rolex a few years back certainly didn't go down well. He said anyone who was 50 and hadn't bought a Rolex by then was a failure.... I'm a French citizen living in Auvergne and there are plenty of Springs, Sanderos, Joggers, Lodgies, Logans, Dokkers and especially Dusters ( I have a 2021 LPG model myself) because people around here are looking for affordable, practical, reliable and unpretentious transport. Dacia cars definitely tick these boxes. Well done Dacia!

Tho i only had two electric cars, a tesla model 3 and dacia spring so can't say if its better than the zoe or other competitors. Verdict : i was satisfied, it does the job.
Look at the criticisms you levelled against this car as faults and downfalls, they're actually the same things that people praise garbage like minis, beetle's and 2cv's for. I have a feeling that this car is basically a people's car for the modern age. Especially when you take into account that the people this car is aimed at are people who aren't car enthusiasts as such , just people who want to go to work, school runs, shopping or just have something to aid mobility for the infirm.
The review is a bit harsh. This is the sort of car you just drive around town on short journies that would probably destroy a diesel engine. It's small but spacious, it's spartan but very few things to go wrong. To me it's for someone who was considering a Vespa but decided for more comfort This is how inner city driving should look like.

@@ChiliM4n That's true of every single new car though - there's always a better deal used.
Well everything is more expensive than the Spring, not just the Germans lol
There we have it guys, we've lost Matt to the wine sipping toffs in their Koenigseggs. The fact that this was such a shock to him speaks volumes.
The quality of this car is visibly worse than something like a Clio or Corsa that you could buy for similar money, or a slightly used Zoe or other small electric car. You realise he tests those cars too right? His point is that the Spring doesn't make a lot of sense when compared to alternatives and compromises too much. If your takeaway was just "cheap car bad" then you didn't really watch the video, did you?

Long story short, fine car for cheap miles around town. Makes sense because that's what the car is made for.
My auntie has one (she lives near Paris) and it replaced her old Clio Mk2 1.2. So it's just as slow, just as cheap feeling inside and just as tinny sounding. But she doesn't care about all this. It's transport, nothing more nothing less.

Sounds like a pretty nice car as a second car. Don't use it for highway or vacations, just local shopping and short commutes. Just some background of this car. The car was actually totally designed and made for India launched in 2015 as Renault Kwid and become a big name in country but in India it comes with 0.8L and 1.0L. Later it was modified from inside to make it a electric and launch in Europe.

I hope you will do a honest review now that Dacia announced the new Spring!
Brits don't know how "fortunate" they are to have such low prices for the second-hand market. Despite of how much Zoe depreciates, a year-old one will be at least 25k€ in most parts of Europe.
Dacia Spring also costed $9000 more expensive than R8 Gordini or Renault 5 Turbo.
Not anymore, a nearly new Kia soul ev is 22k EUR in Germany now, 6m ago they were 30k

We are completely missing the low end for EVs here in North America. This would also sell like hotcakes here if it were under US$25k. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with a lightweight car; cars are too heavy these days.
USA has more regulations than socialist countries 😢😢, that will gatekeep any affordable car from being sold there. Look at the homologation costs.
