@@PhillyDee215 lol I don't think you can consider 3700lbs light for a sportscar. Most purpose built ones are like 3000-3400lbs. Besides, corvettes aren't exactly very slippery (except like the C6 and C5 hatchback)

It's a great run. I knew from the start that Vette was going to outrun that truck. We run those cars here. Vette's, Hellcat, and a Camaro. We have a lot of fun.

Why don't you spend 2 minutes and learn about 'rail dust' and how that's what those specs of brown were and how it's external iron specs landing on the cybertrucks during transport. It comes right off and the same thing happens to brand new white cars. Besides go read the warranty on Tesla's cybertruck it covers rust for 12 years and unlimited milage.

Yeah, I saw it, and the Z06 got beat from a dig by the cybertruck. So a SC or TT stingray should be able to beat a C8 Z06.

Not really. The cybertruck is twice the weight, it's like 6000 lbs...and is still down 100 hp. A lot of people forget that while EVs are really powerful, they're also heavier.

I like seeing ev get beat by gas and diesel cars. As a car guy I think there are merits to getting ice cars as quick as EV because that's all they're good at. As much as I'd like to see an EV drive 500 miles in any weather and "refuel" as quickly as a gas or diesel vehicle.

A H700 after market Corvette goes from 0-60 in 3.1 secs. A Cybertruck is suppose to go 0-60 in 2.6 secs. Something doesn't add up here. We know the Cybertruck easily beats a C06 vette as shown in many RUclips videos. Was the Cybertruck at full power?

I have come to realize that Hennessey is in the business of selling their vehicles, not in hosting real races. Their is no way that 700 hp corvette beat an electric vehicle off the line.
I love Hennessey cars, but I never trust their comparison videos.
Z06 almost beat a cybertruck. So a supercharged C8 as we see make since to beat a cybertruck.
@chrismanning1171 Not off the line brother. That requires instantaneous torque. So unless they are running NOS off the line instantaneous torque is not achievable without some LAG. If the corvette Z06 gets smoked off the line and only wins in a rolling race, I do believe that these results are valid. I have no dought it could beat the cybertruck in the 1/4 especially when the Cybertruck is limited to 114 mph, but off the line from start to finish is suspect.

@DragonKnightX12 That corvette supposedly had 700 hp thus there is no way it had enough torque off the line without a major crutch. You are right that their are many specially built cars, with over 1200 hp, that can beat the Plaid, but none beat it off the line like we saw in the video especially none with only 700hp.
