Scotty Kilmer Hey Scotty, I changed the oil on my 2012 GMC Sierra yesterday but it still says change oil soon and that the oil life is at zero percent on the dash, I drove it around for a couple of minutes and again this morning to work and it seems to run just fine but the light still shows up what do you think could be the wrong
don't have any dents, yet, on my o3 f150j, but always wondered about dents, and thanks for the link on where to get them, you rock dude, vahrooooooooom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you can also buy a tool for that, where you drill a small hole and screw in the rod and the rod has a weight on it that slides away from the car and hits the stop near your body and pulls out the dent and i have seen this work too, hope that helps!
Thanks so much for responding. Makes perfect sense that the wheel bearings would be an issue. I had thought about replacing all these things when i bought the car 3 years ago, but have been doing what I can being on a fixed income. Brakes and engine were first. Gotta be able to stop even more than go as far as I'm concerned. Been doing a lot of research on the hubs, I figure easier to replace whole unit as I had them off doing brakes. Looking at medium grade Centrix for about $62 each. So many to choose from and some companies just don't have the oem or reviews I like to see. But thanks so much Scotty. Kevin

That’s right. Put cooler hotter water then normal. But make sure you use natural spring water as its heat transfer properties are more efficient than tap water.
The hot water tip really works, had a larger dent pressed in from someone's door hitting mine and worked like a charm. I got a couple of those hail damage dents... suction cups cool info to get those out.
I did this once with a suction base from a camera mount, the kind that you have to pump by hand. Worked great and took the big dent out of my brother-in-law's RAV4 that had been there for 2 years.

Hey Scotty! Love your videos! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge about cars. Your videos have been so helpful to me finding problems in my car.
A link to that little suction cup would be much appreciated. I got one at Harbor Freight this weekend that did the trick on a very large dent I had in a rear quarter panel on my truck since 2014. I had beaten a good portion of it out with a rubber hammer from inside when it happened, but this tool pulled it out the rest of the way. I was pleasantly amazed.
Back in the late 1970s some douchebag put a large push in dent to my car fender and disappeared. I got home went for the traditional rubber plunger with the long wooden handle pulled out the huge dent. Even my wife was impressed. Although it was not 100% perfect. But was close enough to soothe our eyes and glad we don't have to deal with the greedy insurance.
I worked 6 hours on my dent in my rear gate and I bought a kit that you glue on parts and pull the dent out. I got nowhere on this method. Looks so good on the video. Also, I can't find any shop to fix it. They only want to replace the entire gate. Great.
You'll be able to get the dent out with these most times, but you generally won't be able to get rid of the "crease" marks left from where the metal was bent.
+Victor G I imagine this suction and hot water method would be okay on a car that already has dings and scratches. But for my personal car, I wouldn't do it, because I want perfection. I've taken my car to my favorite autobody shop, and paid them $150 to remove a door ding. Nothing beats a talented PDR guy.
True, this method is more for a car that's not really worth putting a lot of money into repairing anymore. More of a "good enough" fix than an actual repair.
