    Good stuff, except for the using swapping to extend the daze state
    The longer you wait to trigger the chain attack during the daze state, the shorter the stun state is, have been testing this a lot myself (ik the vid is CBT footage so they might have changed it)
    Which means you could have just done the chain attack immediately as soon as daze procs, then have way longer time to spend to wail on them stunned with your damage character
    That being said, knowing how to not trigger the chain attack with the swapping is still great knowledge so you don't start it on the wrong character

    • @ilis_roa
      @ilis_roa  Месяц назад +1

      That is most likely the case of being late triggering the chain attack on dazed state, chain attacks happens throughout the dazed state period, the stunned duration state should be the same. Unless you were in hollow zero where there are modifiers affecting their durations and etc

    • @Manslayer2009
      @Manslayer2009 13 дней назад

      Yes, the idea of delaying the stun state is bad. You are better off going straight to chain, using your support, then chain assisting into your DPS. The daze state and stun state last the same amount of time, and stack together, it is roughly 12 seconds. So if you daze someone, and wait 10 seconds to stun them, the stun will only last 2 seconds. If you daze someone and stun them 1 second later, the stun will last 11 seconds.
      Basically, do not delay the stun, go into chain and then choose whether you want to actually use chain attacks, or if you want to not so you can maximize your uptime. It is almost always beneficial to use a support and then instantly assist out your dps.

    Is the damage truly higher if you use normal attacks during the dazed state instead of chains, what I understood from the tutorial of the game is that chain attacks have a higher multiplier than normal attacks meaning you'd always wanna use them when possible.
    I saw a couple chinese streamers never trigger or swap from Ellen just doing her normal chains and was wondering why, guess your video answers that, but it does seem kinda weird that you'd rather attack with normals instead of triggering chainattacks whenever you can.
    My questions might be really dumb, because I ask from a point of only taking the information I got from the game so far, hope its not too dumb to ask haha.

      I believe the idea is, you use your DPS' chain attack, then a support chain attack, then a DPS' assist tag in. In a triple chain you'd do the same thing but with a secondary dps so basically just end it on the support again and tag in your main dps with the assist.
      For single chain attacks go straight to your dps, unless you want to use a specific ability to gather enemies, such as Nicole's chain assist, or you want to inflict stun on an adjacent target. This usually wont matter though because those enemies generally die in one stun combo regardless.
      For example, you have Anby, Nicole, Nekomata. You stun the enemy with Anby and trigger a chain assist, you chain in Nekomata, then you chain in Anby, then you chain in Nicole, you then assist tag back out Nekomata. The only downside to this is Nicole does do defense shred so it might be better to end on Nekomata, so Nicole, Anby, Nekomata.

      @@Manslayer2009I do get his idea but the example you provided does get tricky with Nekomata's passive giving dmg% on quick assist.
      As someone using her, I've just decided on using her chain attack without the debuff, prioritising on activating her passive at the end of the chain so that there is a smooth transition to her ex special and ultimate so that both benefit from the damage from her passive. It might be wrong, but it is what I'm doing on my chains currently.
