paper bang boo is amazing. It can draw fire of bosses letting you wale on it safely in some scenario's. The only gripe I had with it is when the boss or enemies are down and it tries to taunt, but that's a non-issue since I have BEN as a defender and also a chainer with koleda. [The double shield Helps alot to keep that juicy crit rate 16%] From him going and probably will be one of the best source of hybrid buff for those who wants more comfort and less struggle in tougher missions of the game.
the bangboo gacha is very f2p friendly so you really can just pick them up for whatever teams you want, and they're so silly so you can probably just pick the funny one
I mean, it's 90% forced F2P since you can't actually buy the currency, only get a small boost on the battle pass, and it also gives you pretty much everything the game offers, so it's not even considered p2w feature, just a pay to fast forward

From what I know, the final trigger doesn't affect the damage. I hear it's based on % of contribution. So if Anby contribute some some, even if Grace triggered it, it would be lower than Grace solo contribute. But it's still good to know that their contribution won't affect the damage.

Honestly, Deviboo seems like it could be really broken once we got more Ether characters, the anomaly build up on it is crazy even when just using Nicole
Devilboo is basically a permanent assist always doing damage. Went into a fight and focused two of the three enemies. Devilboo had half hp'd the third on his own for me
Anything with Ether synergy is basically in "Sleeping giant" tier for now, Nicole is a really powerful support only held back by the fact shes the sole Ether agent. Once we get more, all this Ether synergy is gonma hit critical mass
THIS is the stuff I wanted to see. I kinda latched onto Lucy really quick, and I adore the bangboos, so having a character that buffs them made me really curious to go in depth and really pick them apart. I find myself focusing on Devilboo cuz I have a few dupes of it, and I love its deceptively low uptime. Since it attacks the most frequently despite having a 30s cooldown. Plus I just love the way it looks and how its eyes change color when it attacks.
If Defense characters ever become Meta. I can see Paperboo being extremely useful in the future. Taunting and Gathering are 2 utilities that are always useful for Shiyu Defense. Cause when fighting mobs sometimes they will spread out really far, and having Bangboo's that can control that spread is really good. Magnetiboo is already a good example of that. and Resonaboo being decent. Of course nothing stops Hoyo from adding more Bangboo's who can taunt/gather. Which I truly welcome. I do wish Hoyo makes Eous a free Bangboo in the future though. Since... well that's actually us the player.
defense never will be meta just cause of huge damage loss, it probably would be comfort pick, not meta. you won’t get eous also cause it’s not a combat bamboo plus he is already always with you in the hollow
the problem with magnetiboo is you can't trigger it urself. sometimes for magnetiboo or resonaboo it's just them gathering nothing and in fact making it worse for your run. I wish we have a button to trigger Bangboo skills..

Which is probably where their future relevance will be in in having hybrid roles. Having hybrid roles is something Hoyo always does eventually.

I will admit though that a hybrid tank will still likely not be as good as one dedicated to those independent roles support/daze/anomaly/etc and nothing excludes units in those roles from also having hybrid roles of their own. Cause repeating what I said earlier. Having hybrid roles is something Hoyo always does eventually. All just for added clarification. Cause I'm not disagreeing with you btw.
I really appreciate you showing each bangboo's attacks while you go over their stats and rankings. All their little attacks are super cute and I basically never notice what they're doing while I'm in combat cause I'm just sitting there looking for the parry/dodge rings lol
I picked up Rocketboo 'cause I got Soldier 11. :) Got him in 13 pulls, so even if he ends up on the bench some day, no regrets there! But for now? I like him a lot! It's cute watching him fly across the screen on his little rocket.
I chose resonaboo in a preparation for my Zhu Yuan team. The grouping capability it has is pretty useful. Might go for Nicole’s signature bangboo for my second team.
I have been using Plugboo for my team, and there's a hidden mechanic in their chain attack. They actually provide CC by pulling enemies closer, somewhat similar to Nicole's skill. So I've been abusing that to deal with small enemies.
Gotta say, I am glad you went full analysis on the Bangboos since I really wanted to see the numbers… and their combat animations lmaooo 😂 I Freaking love Bangboos!
I wanted to build a team with Soukaku, Lycaon, and Hoshimi Miyabi (assuming she's ice DPS/anomaly), so I picked up Sharkboo, and I love the little guy. It's so satisfying to push enemies into the traps, and because they travel so slowly they tend to hit during stuns. Now if only Lycaon would come home.
I win to lose needs more recognition, the effort he exerts in these videos are just insane. It might be a habit by now but his determination is admirable, keep up the great work!! Really love your guide vids!
I got plugboo as I'm an electric team enjoyer and have both Grace abd Rina(Lost to rina while pulling for ellen), no now I'm saving for zhu yuan and also trying to pull resonaboo
If we get a steady stream of new S rank bangboos like we do S rank characters, it might be worth saving up to get one maxed it when a truly good one comes along that’s worth it almost like having a 4th actual character on the team. Definitely saving. Thank you for your hard work.

Pingwoobu with Soukaku and Lucaon + Victoria Housekeeper member is incredible team comp for players at the start. When you dont have any artifacts, good wengines and talent levels, upgrading your Pingwooby is solid option.

I’m wondering this too. I picked shark on one account and picked butler on the other account because I have a 4 star penguin already, and I can’t tell which is better.
As i decide my endgame 2 teams. I realized the game always cater towards 2 elements. It will also take too long for the game to release enough characters for double mono element or faction. Therefore elemental > faction bamboo.
My personal advice especially for new player is: Pull in this banner until you get at least 3 S rank bangboo Pick the 1st S rank for your main team like for example if you running Ellen pick either shark or butler if you have Lycaon Pick your 2nd S rank for your 2nd team, preferably attribute-based bangboo For the 3rd, I suggest to pull for resonaboo because plenty of reason: 1. Ether is a scarce attribute so it will greatly help your account 2. Even without the passive activated it can still help you with ether content 3. Either you pull Zhu Yuan or not you still need to build at least 1 ether and if you're not pulling her then Nicole is your only choices, resonaboo will help your team apply corruption faster without the needs of 2nd ether agent This is based on meta perspective and heavily based on my own opinion so in the end of the day just pull the bangboos you like the most
Devilboo is my favorite because its just super cute and has bat wings, but I use the revolver one a lot cuz my main team uses piper and nekomata. I might keep that one that brings them all together for grouping in mind though, that's really neat!!
just saying, if you want to, feel free to level up whatever bangboo you want since you can get infinite amount of bangboo exp from hallow zero as well as buy level break point materials from the 141 shop
I chose Sharkboo mainly because I thought he looked cute! And while he has NO synergy with my team at all(team of Anby, m2 Corin, and m1 Nekomata), I always have him on my team. I just like how he runs around, makes traps, and literally flies out like a missile from a missile silo during a chain attack. As for my other reason as to why I picked him, is because of his traps. True, they’re slow and take time to get to their targets, but it’s pretty much guaranteed that they’ll hit SOMETHING. Most traps I’ve seen set up was three(if I remember correctly), all hopping around and all of them circled back around to snag on a boss I was fighting. I pretty much don’t have to worry about them missing. Also, it didn’t occur to me that Bangboo can’t trigger anomaly effects until watching this video, but I’m okay with that since I also had him picked out for a team with Von Lycaon at some point!
I’ve been using Bangvolver because of the anomaly build up it does which is great as my current best character is Piper who is dishing amazing Assault damage with 315 proficiency and 139 mastery (getting around 61k of damage)
I’m getting Rocketboo next when I get Soldier 11. I got Plugboo as like a "starter" kind of Bangboo because I got Grace. I was originally going to save my Boopons, but I have gacha brain and surprisingly I got Plugboo really early in around 30 pulls
do yall think they will do holiday special boos on events? for example ghost boo for Halloween turkey boo for thanksgiving and santa boo for Christmas and maybe even dragon boo for chinese new years lol that would be awesome!
I've gotten incredibly lucky with Bangboos second 10 rolls was Butler Boo. I had no idea just I wanted Ellen and had Corrin and was hoping for both Rina/Lycaon. went for Physical for my second Bangboo cause there wasn't one in the A rank category until the event. and had no idea about the event. got Revolverboo in 15 rolls been my Corrin then Piper's Carry for ever. I got the Sharkboo cause having all the shark for maximum Sharknami sounded hilarious and I could rub it in my friends face. but got it in 5 rolls. and now i'm sending the rest into the pyro S rank cause of Soldier 11 plus Lucy with a disorder team sounds fun and having the easier build up then spinning with Piper sounds like alot of damage.
The only A tier Bangboo I built was explorerboo for his support capabilities. The rest I only focuse on the S rank boos I go after (right now only have the S rank fire boo for my soldier 11).
My favorite is for sure Amillion. I love the Cunning Hares and go for him! Im early in ZZZ but i try a new aproach in this game so i stay with the f2p stuff :D
I got Amillion and Bangvolver in only 50 pulls, this game has been giving me insane luck so far. I'm running Nekomata/Lucy/Piper/Bangvolver and the starter cunning hares team with Amillion
i went with sharkboo 1 away from max upgrade since i knew i'd be running ellen (i spent every pull already) and the ones i want most are magnet for piper, and plugboo since i like it's look the most
i choose amillion since i'm running starting cunning hares team (i just like their gameplay) with sometimes switching nicole to rina if it's electric weakness for enemy
Really brought to attention on if I want to run c1 shark or c5 penguinboo. Honestly I love the shark but the stats are way better c5'ing penguin, idk what to spend my free s-rank boo on now..
Rocketboo for 2 reasons. 1) Seeing a bunny with a helmet get on a rocket and flip into an enemy Is amusing and 2) I ended up getting Soldier 11 which I really wanted.
Getting Koleda as my beginner S-rank, I've been running her, Ben, and Lucy, so Safety was my first choice...which came in on my second pull. Past that, I've been deliberating: Plugboo for when Qingyi drops, or Resonaboo for grouping? I'm not going after Zhu Yuan, so Nicole is still my only anomaly agent, and I do have Magentiboo, so Plugboo _seems_ like my choice, but...
as for bangboos actually doing things shark boos traps actually work reallly well when your dragging enemy's near it plugboo and the funny ether boo are kinda the same its really mostly on timing tho for them specifically and since bang boos are extreeeeemly f2p and you cant really throw money at them to upgrade them fast either a really good suggjestion on getting s rank bangboos is to get one copy of shark plug bangvolver and etherboo first then start working on duping them or your favorite one a rank boos kinda come easy and if you did what you were supposed to and did the bangboo event you should have a maxed luckyboo to use until you get bangvolver to like 2 star
Tbh I was like "ahhh, another thing to pull and level and care for and not for much impact?" and proceed to choose Amillion because I liked his appearance most. :D But how was I surprised when I tried him for first time, forgot that 5s later and then in fight watched how some target's hp somehow gone missing. :D :D
I was struggling between Butler (because I have a lot of chars that work with it passives) and Shark (because I love the looks) but logic won so I got Butler after 80 pulls... :)
I picked Plugboo , cuz i already have 3 volts in my team and it works well so i am happy , probably not gona pull more copies thou since i might like something else in the future :)

anomalies get stored when a different damage type happens, they dont get overwritten
@@xspoody_ I think they're worried if a bangboo triggers the same element as the agents, the bangboo might override the potential anomaly boom

Rockin Rina with a C6 Anby & a C4 Plugboo. This team is absolutely incredible & so far I've had no trouble decimating my opponents.
Pingwoobu with Soukaku and Lucaon + Victoria Housekeeper member is incredible team comp for players at the start. When you dont have any artifacts, good wengines and talent levels, upgrading your Pingwooby is solid option.
I choose Resonaboo even though my main is soldier 11 because the grouping in useful especially with Soldiers small aoes.
I heard the bangboo hp stats along with the other stats are equipment related. So you gain hp, not that they have actual hp. Hope this clears it up!
My Tip if ur confused on what to pick as S.. cuz tbh all A are actually pretty good.

My personal advice especially for new player is:
Pull in this banner until you get at least 3 S rank bangboo
Pick the 1st S rank for your main team like for example if you running Ellen pick either shark or butler if you have Lycaon
Pick your 2nd S rank for your 2nd team, preferably attribute-based bangboo
For the 3rd, I suggest to pull for resonaboo because plenty of reason:
1. Ether is a scarce attribute so it will greatly help your account
2. Even without the passive activated it can still help you with ether content
3. Either you pull Zhu Yuan or not you still need to build at least 1 ether and if you're not pulling her then Nicole is your only choices, resonaboo will help your team apply corruption faster without the needs of 2nd ether agent
This is based on meta perspective and heavily based on my own opinion so in the end of the day just pull the bangboos you like the most
Devilboo is my favorite because its just super cute and has bat wings, but I use the revolver one a lot cuz my main team uses piper and nekomata. I might keep that one that brings them all together for grouping in mind though, that's really neat!!

just saying, if you want to, feel free to level up whatever bangboo you want since you can get infinite amount of bangboo exp from hallow zero as well as buy level break point materials from the 141 shop

I chose Sharkboo mainly because I thought he looked cute! And while he has NO synergy with my team at all(team of Anby, m2 Corin, and m1 Nekomata), I always have him on my team.
I just like how he runs around, makes traps, and literally flies out like a missile from a missile silo during a chain attack.
As for my other reason as to why I picked him, is because of his traps. True, they’re slow and take time to get to their targets, but it’s pretty much guaranteed that they’ll hit SOMETHING. Most traps I’ve seen set up was three(if I remember correctly), all hopping around and all of them circled back around to snag on a boss I was fighting. I pretty much don’t have to worry about them missing.
Also, it didn’t occur to me that Bangboo can’t trigger anomaly effects until watching this video, but I’m okay with that since I also had him picked out for a team with Von Lycaon at some point!
I’ve been using Bangvolver because of the anomaly build up it does which is great as my current best character is Piper who is dishing amazing Assault damage with 315 proficiency and 139 mastery (getting around 61k of damage)
I’m getting Rocketboo next when I get Soldier 11. I got Plugboo as like a "starter" kind of Bangboo because I got Grace. I was originally going to save my Boopons, but I have gacha brain and surprisingly I got Plugboo really early in around 30 pulls
do yall think they will do holiday special boos on events? for example ghost boo for Halloween turkey boo for thanksgiving and santa boo for Christmas and maybe even dragon boo for chinese new years lol that would be awesome!
I've gotten incredibly lucky with Bangboos second 10 rolls was Butler Boo. I had no idea just I wanted Ellen and had Corrin and was hoping for both Rina/Lycaon. went for Physical for my second Bangboo cause there wasn't one in the A rank category until the event. and had no idea about the event. got Revolverboo in 15 rolls been my Corrin then Piper's Carry for ever. I got the Sharkboo cause having all the shark for maximum Sharknami sounded hilarious and I could rub it in my friends face. but got it in 5 rolls. and now i'm sending the rest into the pyro S rank cause of Soldier 11 plus Lucy with a disorder team sounds fun and having the easier build up then spinning with Piper sounds like alot of damage.
butler vs booressure was something i've been wondering for a while, if team energy > who is on the field

The only A tier Bangboo I built was explorerboo for his support capabilities. The rest I only focuse on the S rank boos I go after (right now only have the S rank fire boo for my soldier 11).
My favorite is for sure Amillion. I love the Cunning Hares and go for him! Im early in ZZZ but i try a new aproach in this game so i stay with the f2p stuff :D
I pulled 1 Bangboo and now wait for future bangboos as I really want to see what the pubsec bangboo is going to be.
I got Amillion and Bangvolver in only 50 pulls, this game has been giving me insane luck so far. I'm running Nekomata/Lucy/Piper/Bangvolver and the starter cunning hares team with Amillion
I was able to get the Shark and Butler one. I’m aiming for the Safety one next.
The fact that bangboos can sometimes just goof around and be entirely useless just makes it so much funnier.
i went with sharkboo 1 away from max upgrade since i knew i'd be running ellen (i spent every pull already) and the ones i want most are magnet for piper, and plugboo since i like it's look the most
huh, I chose Amillion because I was just rocking the starter trio, I never would've expected it to be the literal highest DPS Bangboo
A two agent team is viable beceause of Bangboos. Having Bangboo chain attack was genius
I have 4 copies of resonaboo, I’ve forced myself to build an ether team to capitalize on my good luck with bangboos
i choose amillion since i'm running starting cunning hares team (i just like their gameplay) with sometimes switching nicole to rina if it's electric weakness for enemy

You might want to factor in the daze from chain attack because chain attacks still hit enemies that aren't dazed but are near the target
Assuming you are rocking a 3-man team, the only way to trigger that is against a single stunned boss, or multiple stunned fodder.
I do my best to set up fodder into the boss whenever I can. Not sure if it's worth it yet, but it feels good to do
I've been wondering if Bangboo doing attribute anomaly would dilute anomaly damage since they don't have attribute proficiency.

Really brought to attention on if I want to run c1 shark or c5 penguinboo. Honestly I love the shark but the stats are way better c5'ing penguin, idk what to spend my free s-rank boo on now..
Rocketboo for 2 reasons. 1) Seeing a bunny with a helmet get on a rocket and flip into an enemy Is amusing and 2) I ended up getting Soldier 11 which I really wanted.
My favorite bangboo... is one that's been scrapped. Something about them just really puts me off. They're the one thing I hate about ZZZ. :P
Getting Koleda as my beginner S-rank, I've been running her, Ben, and Lucy, so Safety was my first choice...which came in on my second pull. Past that, I've been deliberating: Plugboo for when Qingyi drops, or Resonaboo for grouping? I'm not going after Zhu Yuan, so Nicole is still my only anomaly agent, and I do have Magentiboo, so Plugboo _seems_ like my choice, but...
I haven't pull my 90 bangbos pulls waiting for this video!
as for bangboos actually doing things shark boos traps actually work reallly well when your dragging enemy's near it plugboo and the funny ether boo are kinda the same its really mostly on timing tho for them specifically and since bang boos are extreeeeemly f2p and you cant really throw money at them to upgrade them fast either
a really good suggjestion on getting s rank bangboos is to get one copy of shark plug bangvolver and etherboo first then start working on duping them or your favorite one a rank boos kinda come easy and if you did what you were supposed to and did the bangboo event you should have a maxed luckyboo to use until you get bangvolver to like 2 star
Tbh I was like "ahhh, another thing to pull and level and care for and not for much impact?" and proceed to choose Amillion because I liked his appearance most. :D But how was I surprised when I tried him for first time, forgot that 5s later and then in fight watched how some target's hp somehow gone missing. :D :D
I'll just pull 3-4 ten pulls on the bangboo banner and use A rank ones saving all the currency for c5ing 1 broken bangboo in the future

I was struggling between Butler (because I have a lot of chars that work with it passives) and Shark (because I love the looks) but logic won so I got Butler after 80 pulls... :)
