      Theirs a lot to lucid dreaming, certain actions you do in your dream can create impacts in the real world, such as killing someone in a lucid dream is nothing really, like killing someone in a game (means nothing), this'll make said person think that it's the same as real life, and yeah...

    • @samcanham6215
      @samcanham6215 4 года назад +25

      Maybe a potential solution is to try something that you wouldn’t be able to do in real life but would cause you no harm to try? Like jumping into the air and flying. If you fly then you know it’s a dream. If the person tells you not to it doesn’t matter because what you’re doing isn’t risky

      I feel like this is kinda the start of lucid dreaming. Like I’ve had dreams where I’ll recognize that I’m in a dream or I’ll be like this doesn’t make logical sense because I’m in a dream. But then I never get fully lucid.

    • @Murimz
      @Murimz 4 года назад +38

      All you need to become lucid in a dream is to know that you're in a dream. Thats all, to change your dream you just have to be confident that what you're saying is going to happen IS going to happen inside the dream.

    My problem when getting lucid is when I try to fly, I fly for like 10 seconds but then I slow down and that makes me fall because physics, and when I hit the ground I wake up. It feels so much like real life that my brain knows you can’t fly without moving at a fast speed. So I learned that when I become lucid, I put on my Iron man suit so that I have propulsion in the air while flying. Helped a lot
    Edit: I can now lucid dream for longer and more often thanks to this channel

    I just wanted to say that I had my first lucid dream tonight, thanks to your videos!
    Sadly it only lasted a few seconds. I didn't manage to stabilize the dream and the whole dream world fell apart after I became lucid. Maybe it was because it happened at the end of a long non-lucid dream. But the experience of becoming lucid was amazing, when I did a reality check I was puzzled why it worked at first. Then, when I noticed what happened, it felt like some kind of wave came from inside me and propagated all the way to my fingertips, taking away a numbness that I didn't even notice before. I still managed to rub my hands together as the dream fell apart, but that's all I could do before waking up.

Imagine your brain like a PC, using it constantly all day without a break will cause it to overheat and maybe crash or not work too well, but if you give it a cool down it goes immediately back to normal. IDK if y'all are "gamer" enough to be playing video games in dreams, but it's really cool. Because video games are immersive, you become your character in dream video games. Side-scrolling games rarely work, but it's always a good experience. Last time, I was fighting hoards of enemies in Terraria, and I had a blast despite not being lucid. Also, I've had some success with lucid dreams, but I haven't tried too hard to do them.
    Finally, I have a good tip for people struggling to control dreams: Remember that anything can happen. Suspend your disbelief, and don't over think it.

      I would use the wake-back-to-bed technique WBTB, since if you wake up at like 3AM you brain probably isn’t going to be thinking of moving and being hyperactive, it will just want to fall asleep again, so use WBTB and fall asleep again using MILD, see if it works

    I’ve only been lucid dreaming for 2 nights and seen some results. the first night, I tried a strategy that involved visualization and it didnt work as it was supposed to. I later found the reason why, but my visualization skills suck anyways. The second night I tried a different strategy, making sure to keep a dream journal, learn reality checks, get my timing right, and set the conditions of my room right. This time, it actually worked. (I stuck my finger through my palm and it felt so weird…) but it was only for a few moments. At this point I was so wowed I forget literally everything I was supposed to do to stay in the dream. Its not much but its a start, and I hope to stay in longer this time. Everything I’ve learned as been from you Beluga, thank you!
    Also this whole video I was literally just watching him drive the car

    I do not know why but I have lucid dream every night and I do not even use any technique or use a diary or anything else it's just '' my normal dream '' I'm not really trying to do '' things '' in my dreams anymore because I'm almost done Most of the things I wanted to do. Lately every dream I have I'm just flowing with every situation that comes up. I do not enter my dreams with a purpose I just flow with everything that comes and that's how I dream. But the first time I had a lucid dream it was something unexpected I went to sleep really tired and I woke up to the most intense and weird dream I have ever had in my life i wake up to see my little brother (5 years old) with the shirt of my work in his size and it suited him And honestly I say I'm in a dream and it must be a dream after that I try to wake up from the dream and I woke up again in the dream and I see my little brother again but his head was a bit different from what he usually has and I realized that I am still dreaming and tried again to wake up and again I wake up again in the dream and it happened again and again 7 times I gotta to wake up in my dream to see my little brother but every time it was a bit different. it happened about a year and a half ago and until now 26/9/2020 I have such dreams but now it just feels like my old memories when i wake up from lucid dream it fun but I'm recommend to get in a lucid dream and try to fit into situations that happen to you in your lucid dream. And just flowing with what happens in a lucid dream is just more fun for me.
    tl;dr. I have lucid dream and i don't use techniques.
    Edit: english is not my first language sorry if I have any mistakes
    Edit 2: 15/10/2020 i don't know why but i lose the ability to lucid dreaming :(
    Update for nobody:
    I finally got in lucid dream from technique (FILD)

    The thing is that I kind of multi-remember my dreams... Like I can just casually walk around school and just remember TONS OF DREAMS! And sometimes it’s dreams from years ago. Ones I remembered 5bfrom one night and multiplied times I’ve remember 3-4 dreams from one night and idk why but my friends r starting to getting annoyed by me trying to tell them my dreams...😂😂🙈
    Btw I don’t write in a dream journal, cuz I did before and I ended up writing for 15+ minutes of 5-15 pages (and even then I skipped a lot of things)and I don’t have time for that in the mornings!

    I think you should go back to doing the footage parts the old way with the surrealistic people and places and stuff, I just think it fits the subject better than GTA and Inseption clips.
    Secondly you should start putting "Are you dreaming?" Halfway through the videos again as I think it's a good reminder to do Reality Checks.
    And lastly is actually a couple of Questions I have:
    Which Dreaming techniqe do you use?
    And what kind of music do you listen to?
    Hope to hear back from you, keep up the good work!
