    That's some nice work for sure! I shot 200 last weekend, didn't go as well as expected! Heat, mirage, and wind downrange was killing me! Final results were like two different groups. Out of 20 rounds, 10 were in the target, the other ten appeared to come out of a shotgun!😅 I'll have the video up Friday!

    Twist barrel is called called riffling spins the bullet projectile to go a straight as possible. The slight swirl type of projectiles were used in Ships main guns in the UK usually 15 inch most were smooth bore as the guns needed replacing after a while. I think the German 8inch guns were riffled so could hit the target more often with more force for the projectile as in speed and distance. !5 inch would do more damage if hit a target because of size and types of Projectiles. Very interesting watching bullets and types of weapons group like that.

      @@jonathanvince8173 I believe they started using rifling in the early 1800s was a huge step forward in bullet distance at the time.

      Bought it from the SEB Canadian distributer Eric Bisson, he's on facebook I think.
      IBI is great barrel but your results may be different. Cant be sure on either, both have good and bad reviews.

    Why didn't you show the target that was getting the whole shot through it

    Have you done much ammo testing with that ibi barrel?
    Tesro is out of sample packs so I’m trying to narrow down how many bricks I have to buy lol

      Not a whole lot of different ammo testing, I have some Elley Match to try but its pissing out today. You cant go wrong with Lapua stuff and its always good to have different lot numbers in your safe for future needs. Ammo is always the best investment. LOL

      @@thegunslinger4570 the info on different lots is pure gold. It makes perfect sense. Thanks for sharing that little gem.
      Guess I’ll give some Lapua a try

      I have 6 lots of Eley match from killoughs ss live been testing and so far any of them that are on the lower end of the velocity seem to hammer. You got your barrel about the same time as I did will be curious to see how yours works out.

    Please use the proper way to measure a group. The smallest circle that covers all the holes, none of this center to center baloney.

    • @thegunslinger4570
      @thegunslinger4570  4 месяца назад

      @@geraldkoth654 I am use ballistic calculator it measures from center of the hole.
      If you measure closest inside circle that is not correct.

      Does it really make that much difference? This is comparative work. As long as the method is consistent the results should be valid for that line of study.
      Further, I've been shooting for >70 years and competitively for part of it and I've never heard of your method of measurement. Do you mean to tell us that there's a contingent in the shooting world that goes around with circle measuring templates?

      I'm with you. It's always been center to center of the 2 furthest apart holes.@@joewoodchuck3824
