Do you use a bypass thermostat when installing an oversize tranny cooler? I normally do that because it can prevent the transmission from warming up, especially in the winter if you have it always cooling.
@@partsshooter They make transmission cooler thermostats that bypass the cooler and return the fluid back to the transmission until the transmission fluid warms up at which point the path to the cooler opens up. Derale makes some good ones and I use one in my car. Search "Derale transmission bypass valve"
