Yea but it's only local it's hard to find I'd like him to be on a bigger media but I know he likes doing his fs1/espn hits because he does have to give time to movies
Matt Jane nah he's right "New York is all Wall Street and tailored suits" that's how downtown is in every major city Collin has never been to a corner store buying 50 cent loosies and C&Cs not that there's anything wrong with that, just not his environment
Michael Rapaport & Bill Burr need their own sports talk debate show. I swear that would crush every other sports debate show out there, hands down. If any of the sports networks were smart they would make this happen asap!
Daz if you paid to see a movie and your the owner of the theater sent security to remove you with no refund how would you respond? you have no clue what was being said, sure he could have handled it better I'm sure you overreacted in your life. And not just NY rappers rap about crimes, u must be a have had a sheltered life. FOH
LIBERALGUNSMOKER Thx you. True da. They had no right to put their hands on him. Seems to me it was a set-up, as expressed by Mike there were better ways to handle the situation, they baited Oakley, knowing darn well how he'd react. In my opinion, they committed a tort of battery by touching him and intentionally embarrassing him in public.
As a New Yorker from Brooklyn, Mike is 100% right about NY. I'm not saying we better than anyone but we are tough people just like people from Boston, Detroit, Houston, etc. Oak shouldn't have been so excessive but they treated a NYK legend like trash.
Growing playing basketball and watching..now I'm a grown man who played college basketball and coached high school..I am not a fan of the Knicks but I rather wear and buy a Charles Oakley jersey before a Carmelo Anthony's jersey any day of the year.
Colin Loves Boston and discredits NYC as second class in sports. Then Colin loves to say Connecticut people know NYC and BOSTON just because its in New England. LOL Colin is such a fan boy
The Swoosh With many franchises here in New York, they are second rate. Knicks, Jets, Islanders, and the Mets to a certain extent are not first rate franchises. Those four franchises have terrible management and even worse ownership. They love the idea of owning and running a franchise in New York, but aren't willing to put in the work to be perennial contenders. Plain, flat out, no plan, no vision, and worst of all no process.
Mandrick Brown yeah Melo is going to be hard to move. Picks will be hard to get in return and then you have Dolan that doesn't have the patience or the knowledge in owning a team to let a true proper rebuild take place. The last time NY was on the right path they traded away. all the young assists for melo when he was going to come in free agency anyways and the effects of that deal are still happening
As a part of the deal, the Knicks will send Wilson Chandler, Raymond Felton, Danilo Gallinari, Timofey Mozgov and a 2014 first-round draft pick to the Nuggets, who would get additional picks and cash, the sources said. Along with Anthony, New York would get Chauncey Billups, Shelden Williams, Anthony Carter and Renaldo Balkman from Denver. This trade wasnt that bad
OnceYouPop YouCantStop yeah it was when they could of waited for him to come in free agency. Billups was done, they gave up good young players in chandler and galinari. They gave up that first round pick then in win now mode the started trading all there first round picks in dumb trades like the baragini deal. If it wasn't for the NBA rule of not allowing teams to trade consecutive year picks the Knicks would have likely traded there 2015 draft pick as well and have no building block. The organization has been poorly ran for just about 20 years. Now they have washed up players on bad deals in Noah and Melo no trade clause and huge salary are going to make it difficult to tear down the roster and rebuild around Unicorn
Last thing I'll say. Somehow how, some way.... Colin thinks that Connecticut gives you the green light to claim Boston and New York hahaha. Thats like telling someone from Oklahoma to give me insight on Dallas. Or asking a kid from Vegas to tell me about LA
i live in ct. there are equal NY and boston fans. its more boston the further east/north you go but there is still plenty of boston merchandise in SW ct
@@bayarea510 Bristol to NY is a 2 hour drive. Bristol to Boston is a 2 hour and 10 minute drive. Connecticut is part of both New England and the Tri-State area. You can't necessarily "claim" either city as your own, but it's not as far off as a Vegas-LA comparison. Especially because there's a gradual cultural shift depending on which direction you go in CT (which is densely populated and pretty evenly distributed), whereas there's little more than desert from Vegas to LA pretty much until you hit Ontario, so therefore no connection to any nearby areas that might be more like that city than where you're from since almost no people live there.
Mr. Rapaport is hilarious!! I lived in New York City for 7 years and I have to agree with Mr. Rapaport to some degree. But in my time there, I came to realize there is no "average" New Yorker. One of the greatest things about that city is you can literally bump into people on the subway from all walks of life, any ethnicity, and with a story you wouldn't believe. Really great place, NYC.
If Michael had acted with that passion he would have been an A-list star haha. love his passion. And get off my Sonics Rappaport, had to leave at 4pm and get home at 1ish to catch a sonic game with the ferry rides, But Payton to Kemp for a Reign man throw down was all worth it!
For Colin to say Oakley was a "goon " He apparently opens his mouth on a topic he knows nothing about. If Colin had Oakley Heart maybe people would know who Colin is.
FACTZ..he said "Goon" ...wonder what made him say Goon.im not implying anything..but a lot of words in their profession come way B4 goon..but we do use goon regularly in conversations daily ..but the subject matter.. far from theirs..
oakley was known for jumpers and rebounds and grit screens double doubles ...very paul milsap joakim noah like .how is he a goon?...if hes referring to the heat series those brawls were about riley and the physical dirty plays and not backing down ...they weren't goons...chris dudley was a goon..Matt geiger..brian skinner ..corliss williamson ben wallace ron artest stephan jackson ...oakley was tough
To clarify for non NYers maybe "tough" is the wrong word (or maybe off putting) to describe it. cause there's soft ppl anywhere you go. but there's a grit or edge that you have or develop when you grow up here. or anywhere on earth where certain things aren't that easy or given. i understand how that can be obnoxious. but whatever.
Mike is the truth, get him his own show..... IMMEDIATELY!!! Met him once in person, he keeps it 100%, been following him since Zebrahead. Stay turnt up Big Mike!
I love Rapaport; he speaks the truth. Oakley is a legion in NY and should of not been treated like that. James Dolan should be embarrass to say the least.
Who do you agree with?
Why you have this goon on your show? Colin H, you have yourself to blame
i don't even think Rapaport agrees with Rapaport.
There is nothing pleasant about Michael Rappaport.
that was just great tv/radio!
Kristie likes big Mike

Micheal Rapaport needs to be on the show at least 2wice a month! this is great
D-vine 1 maybe 3 times a month lol
Everyweek!
D-vine 1 no he needs his own show/podcast
Brandon Thompson he has a podcast
Yea but it's only local it's hard to find I'd like him to be on a bigger media but I know he likes doing his fs1/espn hits because he does have to give time to movies
Michael was actually spitting facts; Colin was revealing his true inner privileged-White-boyness.
Brandon Bennett oh don't get all social justicy
Brandon Bennett yup your absolutely right.
Matt Jane nah he's right "New York is all Wall Street and tailored suits" that's how downtown is in every major city Collin has never been to a corner store buying 50 cent loosies and C&Cs not that there's anything wrong with that, just not his environment
Colin is British. What do you expect from him? It is in his blood.
#NoRubberGang RAW yeah it's it's not cuz he's white
Rapp is such a gangster. Bring him back
holdmybeer lmao funniest comment ever
holdmybeer U seen Higher Learning? That boy sniped Tyra Banks. 😂😂😂
Racentour Don't get more gangster than that
holdmybeer
Agree.
DeRico Morman
Michael Rapaport & Bill Burr need their own sports talk debate show. I swear that would crush every other sports debate show out there, hands down. If any of the sports networks were smart they would make this happen asap!
Lol they sound exactly alike too
And bring Joey diaz
That would be excellent.
Rapaport is hilarious!!!!
MIchael Preach onnnnn brother... Not a knick fan, but I am a bronx native, and he is dead on right about what Oakley being the face of New Yorkers.
Daz if you paid to see a movie and your the owner of the theater sent security to remove you with no refund how would you respond? you have no clue what was being said, sure he could have handled it better I'm sure you overreacted in your life. Gidget Hrobowski Q
I'm only watching this for Michael Rapaport.
As a New Yorker from Brooklyn, Mike is 100% right about NY. I'm not saying we better than anyone but we are tough people just like people from Boston, Detroit, Houston, etc. Oak shouldn't have been so excessive but they treated a NYK legend like trash.
ashvanee prabhudial 💯
NY isn't as blue collar as they used to be in the past like a city like Philly, Detroit
@@nmessai215 truth but NYC is hypocritically condescending to other cities outside of the east coast and mid Atlantic region
Growing playing basketball and watching..now I'm a grown man who played college basketball and coached high school..I am not a fan of the Knicks but I rather wear and buy a Charles Oakley jersey before a Carmelo Anthony's jersey any day of the year.
If Mike was from Boston, Colin would roll out a red carpet.
as he should
Boston > New York
I'm from Detroit, but I'll take New York over Boston. Diversity > Only White people.
Boston's population is about 53% white. New York's is about 45% white. I wouldn't say only white people live in Boston.
Jivan Zazaian
Agree 100. Chicago in da house.
The Oak is a legend. Knicks Security handled it poorly. Egged him on. He took the bait. Awful all
Around
rappaport ate him up. you see he thinks Manhattan is only nyc
Charles Oakley represents that train ride ... genius rapp much respect
Knicks fan since 93.
FREE THE OAK!
Anthony Mason is turning over in his grave.
I love his passion!
Love Rapaport but New Yorkers talking about how tough New York is is always annoying
Christian Highland So true. 5 boroughs, we're so tough..... Oh shut up New York.
its just pride
but you are tough if you stood by them and your franchise is out of 70 years of pro ball was good only 15
Because its the Truth...
you wouldn't get it
26Isoken you wouldn't last a week my dude
They need to have him on the show way more, I'm not not even from NY and this dude got me hyped
LOOOOVE THIS INTERVIEW!!.. way to go Rapaport!!

ReturnoftheBrotha Hartford is the cut off point. Anything south of Hartford is the NYC area, and anything north of Hartford is the Boston area.
Bring back the Hartford Whalers!
Brass Bonanza! They should be allowed back not vegas.
Oak gets a free pass for life.
Rapaport is the best!!!
"Do you know what a hot dog stand is Colin?"- Michael 😂😂
Never like Rapp before today. I am now a fan. NYC STAND UP!
Get em rap
Too bad the camera never showed Kristine from 9:51 to the end, sounded like she was dying of laughter
Max Farberov who cares
Colin Cowherd is 100% the establishment!! He nailed it.
Rapaport's knowledge of the game.. DAMN!
Free Oakley 😂😂😂😂
I love Michael Rapaport! His NY passion is awesome.
i can watch this over and over again, rapaport is such an entertaining guy, like a never ending source of funny sentences
the Knicks need to hire Mark Jackson as the head coach get rid of Melo, Rose and Phil and stack as many draft picks as possible
Joey Barz needs to go to a small market team were the media isn't breathing fire down his back.
Mandrick Brown. That's a great possibility. After the fiasco with Oakley, plus the other in house problems, you have a valid suggestion.
Mandrick Brown yeah Melo is going to be hard to move. I'm with Rapaport.
..RAPP & OAKLEY ..ARE TRUE NEW YORKER'S TO THE CORE !!!
Colin is talking about the New New York, and Micheal is talking about the Old New York. BIG DIFFERENCE!
heard this already on undisputed
Last thing I'll say. Somehow how, some way.... Colin thinks that Connecticut gives you the green light to claim Boston and New York hahaha. Thats like telling someone from Oklahoma to give me insight on Dallas. Or asking a kid from Vegas to tell me about LA
ReturnoftheBrotha - Im just saying that its his go to excuse. Bristol is primarily what he refers to
People from Oklahoma have pretty good insight on Dallas. They know it's better than anything they have. :)
Folks in Newark NJ know about NYC just like folks in Stamford & Norwalk CT know about NYC. It's all #TriState, baby!
i live in ct. there are equal NY and boston fans. its more boston the further east/north you go but there is still plenty of boston merchandise in SW ct

i love Rapaport man..
Just disrespectful to Charles Oakley, period.
I'm loving it!!!!!!!
Mike shoulda told Colin to go to uptown Harlem, the Bronx, or go to Brownsville Brooklyn or Southside queens.
Rapaport!!! Hilarious!!
i swear you and dan patrick are the only reasons to have sports radio i love you guys
Rapaport is absolutely right. he's just loud that's why they don't take him seriously.
kuur 313 Pretty much.

As a New Yorker, absolutely right. One of the best things about NYC is the diversity.
