going into the 10th i had connor up by a round. he was fading however. also people keep talking about connor not having any power yet he didn't really try to load up on his punches as a way to conserve energy and also out of respect for floyd's speed.how the fight ended left me conflicted. part of me feels like it was a good stoppage while another part of me felt like connor really wasn't hurt. he has a history of getting wobbly for stretches of time before hitting his second wind, which up to that point in the fight he really did not get to. he could have very well been in another one of those stretches. in his post fight interview he even brought that history up. either way it probably would have went to the cards and judging by the rediculous scores the judges had (or at least one had) connor's chances of winning were next to none.
Jovanté Morales Stoppage in boxing is different from MMA. Standing knockouts happens alot and more so in boxing than MMA. If you sustain an amount of punches without throwing back consciously, they will stop the boxing fight. MMA fighters are used to being woken up by smelling salts to concede to a loss.
