Phil Jackson and Melo get way too much blame. Phil made a great draft pick with Porzingis, and put talent on the roster. Noah's deal was awful but Rose and Jennings are playing well. I think they let go of Dantoni to quick, and then Mike Woodson to quick. Melo isn't playing as bad as people think. They need to play up tempo so he gets better looks. Rose also looks good attacking basket so sitting in the half court offense is so painful to watch because it doesn't make sense with this roster.
