The Illinois Institute of Technology is an innovative technical university located in
the heart of Chicago. Created in 1940 by the merger of the Armour and Lewis Institutes,
Illinois Tech has four campuses in the Chicagoland area. The 120-acre Mies campus was designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, one of the 20th century's most influential architects.
With an undergraduate population of 3,000, students can choose from over 40 majors in tech-focused disciplines, including engineering, architecture, computer science, and business.
