I just have to say that you doing the hand movements for the tones is SO helpful. I don't know that I'll ever become proficient in the language, I've been interested in it recently though. The hand movements remind me so much of choir hand signs and it just clicked right for me. Thanks for the video.

@@JohnBloggs-m8l I've been studying using two apps, one is duoling and I've learned a lot the other one is Hello Chinese, apart from that I have a chinese friend who helps me with speaking and pronunciation, I do that everyday and now it's been 2 years since I started learning chinese. It's a beautiful language

Is there a reason you redid the colour video? I have been watching the other one so thought this was new but I noticed you've altered the negative opinions on orange and white lol
Hi John, In the first color video I was getting complaints because the font for the Chinese characters was too small. I also fixed the picture for 钱包 which means wallet or small purse, plus some other small changes to make it look better. Enjoy!

Thanks for replying I'm from Australia and I've been watching your videos for a couple of months now, Ive been trying to teach myself Mandarin through RUclips videos for 2 years now and I was watching a Taiwanese girl called Katrina Lee you may or may not know of but she seems to be teaching Taiwanese Mandarin so once I discovered your videos I've switched cos though I'm happy to learn dialects I did want standard Chinese Mandarin and your presentation is very simple and easy to follow so thankyou very much for doing them in the style you are as it works for me. :)
