- Welcome to the second lesson in our new Mandarin Chinese Vocabulary Builder Series. This series is designed to help you quickly and effectively build up your Chinese vocabulary with the most common and useful words and expressions.
In this lesson you will learn how to say different colors in Chinese as well as sentences relating to colors including asking and answering what color you like the most, how to say something is a particular color, what color someone's eyes are, that you think a dress is sexy, and that you like the purple dress among among many other sentences. Chinese is indeed a logical yet elegant language. Its like studying math and chemistry. You combine characters and you produce a sentence, flip their positions and the meaning will change. Its as if you are forming a math equation. Thank you Harbin Mandarin!

As a British English speaker I know some learners will cringe a bit at the use of pants rather trousers. I prefer trousers over pants, rather than the other way round. 🤭 Handbag rather than purse, in which we only put money, if we have it. 💖 I enjoy these videos very much. 💕
