Been listening to "retro" bands for many decades at this point.....I will declare that the Messer Chups have the true authentic feel. One of the best ever been.
I've no clue why Messer Chups renewed my dormant interest in surf music since the Beach Boys got old. Great musicians, fun video concepts, and Oleg is in the pocket from top to bottom!, not to mention she is also fun to look at.
Word. I found out about Messer Chups in late August, and I've been listening to them every day since. I love their music and imagery. I wish I knew about them 10 years ago. I'm inspired to learn the guitar work, and even getting a Jazzmaster style guitar,… natural wood-style, not Fender, for my own individual presence with playing it. Maybe make a Messer Chups cover band, and with sharp image/imagery.
Same thing happening to me,… started in mid-August this year when I found them on youtube,… and have been mesmerized. Ethno-soul music for me. Making playlists on CD,…. listening to them as I drive around in my retro boxy Jeep Cherokees. Love it!

This is music not stock car racing- I’m sick and tired of who’s ‘better’- it’s really stupid. Say you love this guy more than all others- great . But when people say ‘he’s better than Clapton’, or how everything is ‘under’ or ‘over ‘ rated. Why should you give a damn ? It’s because your ego is getting in the way of what music is FOR!
@@TheMyndsurfer It is tricky to tell since some jazzmasters have the extra switches and some don't but all the Jaguars seem to have extra switches. The tremelos look alike. The P90s might be the deciding factor along with no extra switching suggests a jazzmaster. But you are ultimately right...buy both , be happy. Too pricey? Check out the Squier models!
I had no idea this band came from Russia, As they've got the whole Dick Dale / Cramps thing going on - I just assumed they were a bunch of yankie-doodle-dandies. I didn't even know Rock 'n' Roll was allowed behind the iron curtian.
Idk, the bass player is gorgeous but in all their videos I hear guitar and drums, no bass. But what a guitar. Bass player sure looks like she is doing something, but again I sure don't here it.

Often on stage it is often very difficult to hear each other. Or someone came in at the wrong time off the break. Probably the former.
