Love the way the guitarist "nudges" the reverb to get the crash sounds !
WE used to do that with old tube Music Man amps, but we'd have to bump the whole amp. Sounds great, but we destroyed a lot of tubes.

Likely common knowledge here, but "King Of The Surf Guitar" Dick Dale pioneered that sound in the early 1960's. Dick is still rocking and touring at age 80, saw him last August at the legendary Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake Iowa. That said, I learned of this band just last week through a surf guitar Facebook page I follow and was impressed by what I heard. I downloaded their album The Incredible Crocotiger (Magneto is on it). Good stuff!

Awesome cutting rawness missing from pop music for a very long time and still mostly is other than a few groups. This band is still very cool now too.
