I love these fish! I really like their green color and the blue shine they get on their back, they just pop in a well lit aquarium especially if you combine them with some fish that are red in color. I managed to breed some of them during the summer. Can't wait for the next video.
Beautiful setup. I have 25 kubotais and 20 emerald dwarf rasboras. The kubotai are the most dominant and definitely boss the other fish and shrimp around, not the most peaceful in my experience.
Nice tank, in the UK we call the Danio Erythromicron the emerald Rasbora ,these guys get called the Neon Green Rasbora, the otocincles you have there the Galaxy Oto which stays small but like others have said is not actually an Otocinclus but a Parotocinclus Haroldoi, and they cost a pretty penny! I just heard about your channel through Alex Fishtory ,secret history living in your aquarium 👍
Beautiful, and the info on history, geography and care are great ;) Hopefully with these guys we will see less of those poor fish injected with florescent dye ;(
Love these fish. I scooped out some newly hatched fry today. Hopefully I can keep them alive. Not sure what to feed them tho. They're too small for first bites.
Very jumpy fish. Needs a larger tank otherwise their movement seems too fast for the tank. Can be slightly dominant over smaller fish. Very beautiful under good light.
Great video. I agree they need a larger aquarium; as restless as they are beautiful. You mentioned the genus species name of the rather attractive snail in your video, but I am unable to decipher the spelling and would like more information on it. If you could provide the formal name and, if possible, a common name it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
@@stefankroon4615 Looks like you are correct, I couldn't decipher the genus. A quick look suggests there is a fair bit of information on them. It is quite an attractive snail, I will have to look into their availability in Canada. Thanks for the info, much appreciated.
Hello. Im really wanting these fish for my new 32g fluval flex. However i have hard water, ph 7.8. Do you think they'll show that amazing green color in my water parameters? I dont want to manipulate the hardness/ph as that can be tricky to maintain a stable environment. Your thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you
Hello, Chris. I hear - You say 80to 180ppm. But in many videos i listen shrimp keepers talk numbers in microsiemens (for example - recmendation for Neocaridina 300ms). I have simple TDS meter in PPm. How I understand - mine 100ppm is 160ms. How I understand - even TDS metering systems in ppm is different, if compare with microsiemens. For me is always difficult to know what about keepers talking, when they talking just about recommenden numbers, but do not talking about system - ms or ppm. Yours mentioned 80-180ppm - how much will be in Microsiemens? Maybe You could recommend post or video with explanation of those numbers? Thank You.

Your aquarium and fish are absolutely beautiful. I’m going to put together a tank like this one myself. Thank you for sharing.

These fish are beautiful, I had them for a couple of years, tried to breed them but couldn’t. Very shrimp friendly as well
Beautiful fish indeed! Awesome videos!
Beautiful little guys! Hello from Chicago Illinois. Im a freshwater aquascaper 😊👍
These are Kubotai (neon green )which are different to the emerald rasbora. The emerald is striped.
I’m planning a Sonoran Desert river ecosystem tank…I’m planning on mixing the green and blue neons..15 gallon long. This is just stunning…
Beautiful little fish 💕
Great video first time watching your channel great information now I will be sure to get this rasbora
Loved it, I'm thinking on buying some. Also, what you descibe as an Otocinclus is actually a pleco "Paratocinclus Haroldoi"
you are right..i have them as well. Back then i did not know it. I was too busy with Inverts over the last years
Great video! I love these fish!

what a gorgeous fish!

Same in my experience, they're also dominant to larger species too. Not as peaceful as I'd hoped 😅
