"The Divine Promise Has Not Been Broken
      The divine once promised
To deliver us to Heaven at the end of days
For countless ages, all lives have awaited this day
Yet now, even when summoned, they still do not see
Dafa [Great Law] has been taught all the while
Its holy believers bear the world’s burdens with their blood
They raise awareness to save others, even while oppressed
The divine promise has not been broken
Yet some people care only about their interests
And do not scrutinize the oppressor’s lies
      They dare not believe reality:
the divine promise is being fulfilled
      January 15, 2014"
Master Li Hongzhi (Hong Yin IV, from Falun Dafa teachings)

      "Awaken Now
So long ago you came down to the world
For millennia you have reincarnated here
Fighting to get ahead, the true you has faded
      Worldly wants overruled your purity
Atheism is a pack of lies
The heresy of evolution has displaced divine word
      Yet in times of misfortune,
people still complain that God does not care
Do not use science to drive humanity toward danger
You came to this world for salvation, your destiny
To return to Heaven is the soul’s deepest wish
To return to Heaven is the destiny you’ve long awaited
      January 23, 2014"
Master Li Hongzhi (Hong Yin IV, from Falun Dafa teachings)

@dharialurie2195 Reincarnation is a blasphemous lie. Mankind who were originally created in the image and likeness of God, even after their Fall and consequently losing that perfect image and likeness of God, continue to showcase the remnant of the same even in their now 'warped trinity' so that it is undeniable. Thus, unlike all other beings on earth, the soul component in mankind makes them eternal, thus making it imperative for them or giving one the exclusive need to choose where one would spend one's eternity. The second lease of life mankind received on earth in their earthly bodies is the only opportunity they may do so and choose for themselves whether one seeks to return to God and His Life-everlasting or one would rather continue in their Fallen accursedness and seek eternal Death.

That is truly not a form of forgiveness if you have not forgotten.
To truly forgive is to not remember what they did anymore.
      For-give not for-stay
      Let it go ❤
Hebrews 8:12: "For I will be merciful toward their evil deeds, and their sins I will remember no longer"
Hebrews 10:17: "Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more"
I don't know if you read the word of God but here are some examples about forgiving and not remembering no more.
It's a lot of work to never forget someone you say you have forgiven.

That's some good wisdom. I've been too good to all the wrong people. I gave them too many chances. Maybe I was holding out hope that they would change, but they never did. They only took advantage of my kindness, took me for granted, then basically said 'have you got anything else for me I can have?'. I swam oceans for people who didn't want to jump a puddle for me. I poured into everyone else's cup before pouring into my own. From now on, all that changes. I'm no longer their doormat. New me, who dis? Let me reintroduce myself.

I’m learned at a very young age to forgive the people who hurt me. I don’t do it for them. I do it for myself. If you carry that burden through your life you will be very unhappy. If you forgive them you can put it behind you and move on. You have to forgive yourself first and make peace with yourself.

      @shareewilliams6967 11 дней назад +6

@@appledoremanForgiveness is for you not them. Don't wait for them to apologize, some never do. In order for you to heal and move forward you have to forgive them and let Yah take care of them. Pray for the person instead of being bitter, angry, or hurt. Forgiveness doesn't always mean reconciliation. If you don’t know Christ, get to know Him by reading the Bible and giving your life to Him. He helps us to forgive and to live a life of peace, joy, and hope that's found only in Him. Forgiveness isn't easy, but it's necessary for living a fulfilled life in Christ.

“My sister in law [...] only for yourself.”
      ======================
My principle is that forgiveness ought to be given ONLY to a person who TRULY REPENTS for his/her/‘their’ bad/inappropriate/ungrateful behaviour.
      Further,
merely saying “sorry” (but then NOT following it up with appropriate, proportionate ammends) is NOT true regret.
      Moreover,
a person who TRULY regrets his/her/‘their’ bad behaviour would be willing to undergo the punishment that befits the ‘crime’; he/she/‘they’ would not try to escape from the punishment.
      This is my opinion.

Not forgiving made me I'll. Everything that was done to me I rehearsed over and over in my mind. It was like a movie. Over time it eroded my health. I've had cancer, 2hernia repairs, gallbladder removed, part of my colon removed, diabetes, high blood pressure, hemorrhaging behind my eyes, cataracts, depression, need a hip and knee replacement. But believe it or not when I learned why people treated me badly and I realized it was them not me it was like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. I look at life differently. One major thing I had to do is stop believing I deserved to be treated poorly and to start loving myself. And you know what I'm ok praise God 😅

That is because you are doing it wrong. Understand that Forgiveness alone will not lead to Reconciliation. Forgiveness is doing your part. But if the other doesn't do his part - showing genuine remorse and seeking Forgiveness and mending his/her ways - is clear sign that Reconciliation is impossible. Move on and move away is what you ought to do after forgiving. Else, you are literally handing yourself into their hands, stick and all, so they may beat you up/offend you again and again.

Forgiveness is for one’s self. You can forgive and not forget and walk away. Jesus told his disciples the same. If they do not accept you, disrespect or spat, walk away. I practice this all the time. Life is too short to be emotionally or physically abused. Forgive and walk away if it cannot be mended.

Once I took the initiative to heal myself, I no longer was co dependent nor had any use for trauma bonding. In doing so, I became empowered, was now able to give to myself that self love, that self-worth, and self value, which led me to become my own asset. With that, there was definitely an ROI. This, in return, has been a journey of a lot of these beautiful quotes put into action. It wasn't easy and I had to let so many beings go out of my life. They no longer served my highest good and that's ok. Thanks.😊❤

This video is filled with profound and eye-opening wisdom! 💡 At 00:00, the metaphor about the blind man throwing away his stick hits hard-sometimes we need to let go of things that once supported us. 🔑 The lesson at 00:52 about how you can't make someone love you by giving them more of what they don't appreciate is a powerful reminder to value ourselves. 💔 At 01:49, the point about honesty not getting you many friends but the right ones really resonates-truth attracts authenticity. 🤝 The quote at 02:43 about having the strength to walk away from the wrong one is gold-it’s better to let go than stay stuck in something unhealthy. 🛑 And 03:09 wraps it up beautifully: forgiving in silence and walking away is a form of self-care-a liberating truth we all need. 🕊 Thank you for sharing these priceless life lessons! 🙏💯

"The blind man who sees again throws away the stick that he once desperately needed": I am an old guy, and I have seen this many, many times. If someone helps another person through tragedy or an addiction, or through some other long term period when they are dependent or helpless--the first thing that person will do upon returning to "normality" is to immediately disengage from or discard the person who helped them.

  • @Ariadne147

I really needed to hear that forgiving someone in silence and never speaking to them again is okay. Someone completely derailed my life and the abuses were escalating. I decided to cut them out of my life, which was a difficult thing because he chose to live in the same building as me and we have friends in common. It took me a long time to realize I didn't deserve his abuse mostly because I grew up with a brother who also abused me in some of the same ways and it seemed normal to me. I can let go of this person now without fear of him getting back into my life, even though I do have to deal with him from time-to-time - like annual condo meetings, etc.

I do not think it’s wise to apply a blanket statement, that one forgives & never talk to them again. It depends on the situation. If there is no change in the other person & they show zero sign of repentance, it’s wise to dissociate from them & protect yourself. However if there is sincere repentance & change, the possibility of reconciliation is there & one should not close off all doors. St Paul was a murderer. Judas was a chosen apostle. Every sinner has a future & every saint has a past.

Just like the Lords Prayer...and forgive us our trespasses (sins, debts) as we forgive those who trespass against us...
Its hard, but i dont forget the pain they caused, which helps me to get strong and cope with life and put my guard up to not get hurt again.
