Hi! I just wanted to share that although I've been practicing yin yoga for many years, full saddle was never in my repertoire. As you mention, it can be hard for some people with knee issues. Because of my knee issues, I couldn't do sleeping swan or even child pose as it would hurt my right knee. I've worked through that over the years and recently began trying saddle pose in various positions. Tonight while doing this class, I was able to do full saddle and go back on my elbows. Keep in mind, I had two blocks under me, but still! I am so happy - there's been a smile on my face ever since 🙂🙂🙂🙂😍😍💕💕
I did half saddle with bolster and felt a bit of right buttock but was oké. Sleeping Swan works better on the right side to put leg verticale with the mat. Thx ❤😊

Day 18 the way these poses take care of my healing right hip and knee, it is so amasing how day by day I can move the leg same way I move my left leg. This is definately very gentle way to recover thank you so much🧡💛 I didn't get on the mat yesterday so I will have a nice YIN session in the evening as well🙏
Glorious words to be left with. Such a celebration of what we are at essence that can lift even the heaviest, loneliest of hearts even if just for a precious moment and bring renewed confidence and joy. Some of my favourite postures too ❤

I've been enjoying the yin challenge & though it has taken me months to get this far it's helpful to have something I don't need to think about for my morning yoga & just head to my mat & to the next video & I'm all set! Thanks and namaste as ever :) I'm loving dipping in and out of this series tbh.. Love the 30 mins Yin classes - perfect to fit in in-between tasks and other things and not top short that you don't get the full Yin feeling maybe in shorter classes I've felt ! :) thanks again devi
@@DeviDalyYoga I do use a roller like a bolster and still struggle. 🤪 I’m realizing that perhaps it’s because I’m in the van and can’t turn to the side but have to come straight up. I’ll have to take a tarp outside and see if there’s a difference

I really love and appreciate the sutras at the end of these practices. This one in particular was very beautiful.

I always have trouble getting out of saddle pose. I feel like I need someone to pull me up. Any suggestions? 🙏💜
It’s a common issue, and the best suggestion I have is to consider using props under your body so that it’s easier to transition out.
