    Nobody complains at Storm and Sparking Zero cinematics but somehow it's a problem in Rebirth of Souls. Go figure.

      @@olucasb93 It was really fucking annoying in Storm 4, but at least Rebirth's cutscenes are shorter.

      @@paledrake I really like them ngl. I can see how it can be a bit annoying online but to use those flashy over the top moves is the whole point of having an anime game. I even prefer the more lengthy ones from Storm 1. I don't see how it's an issue at all and honestly it feels like people are going out of their way to find problems in this game. Legit criticism is one thing but this is ridiculous.

      That's a fair take but I just wanted to clarify. Bleach's cinematics being a mandatory win condition of the gameplay is what could be an issue.
      If Storm or Sparking had the same thing, I'm willing to bet more people would complain. Ultimate Tenkaichi is an example of a game that went too far in the cinematics direction and it still gets hate, but of course it was ridiculously bad there.

      @@ComboTrigger oh I see what you mean now but I really think it's not mandatory. For what I understand you can use the ultimates to take multiple konpaku bars (Soul Destruction) but if you manage to take the opponent reishi bar all the way down it triggers Soul Break instead which is like 2 seconds long. The now or never grants you a guaranteed Soul Destruction but you can take life stocks by doing Soul Breaks as well. I mean I might be wrong and they're not doing their best to showcase and clarify this for us but that's how I interpreted it.

      @@olucasb93I’m also just going to say that like literally every time we saw the sparking zero models we complained about how the colors looked and then how the camera worked and then how the model of Goten was off in one some frames in his cutscene but they went on to fix most the things and were still trying to fine thing ever week and some people are even complaining about what what they haven’t seen I think we all are allowed to criticize stuff to make the game better for everyone that plays it.

    I think the cinematics are a good thing especially when this game has a ranked Mode since this game is going to be balanced, unique, and no limitor on transformations fights are going to be super competitive and sweaty and seeing a cutscene could be a nice opportunity for a ranked player to take a quick rest or figure out a strategy

    Takeharu Ishimoto made a lot of fantastic music for Square Enix
    It's cool that they got such a great composer for the game. I'm interested to hear all the ost.

    I left a comment on another video suggesting the roster could be pretty huge since Rangiku is confirmed. Those Rangiku fans did not like that and told me how wrong I was and that she would be in the game if there were only 15 playable fighters. Things got even more heated when I said of all Lieutenants/Officers she is less popular and has lower priority than Hisagi and Ikkaku and those two should be getting in too. Glad to know I'm not the only one who thought this. I like Rangiku but I don't feel she is necessary to tell the story of Bleach, her being here also increases Kira and Momo's chances which is good.

      If you know who the devs making this game are you'd understand why rangiku being in doesn't confirm the roster will be massive. its the devs of senran kagura. Out of all the vice captains rangiku would absolutely be their first choice. Beyond that some more objective reasons are that she can sell costume dlc way better than the others can and in general she might secure a few thousand more purchases than they would. For obvious reasons.
      Plus its not like she's much less prominent than hisagi and ikkaku. Ikkaku has 3 fights up to the end of arrancar saga. Hisagi has 2. Rangiku has 2 or 3 depending on what you count. She has about almost as many scenes as ikkaku and more than hisagi, kira, momo, etc.
      I wouldn't call myself a fan of hers. Just objectively speaking its a good business move to have her in before any vice captain except renji. Obviously she isn't like byakuya, grimmjow levels of priority. The roster should be bigger than 25 since she's in.
      There are older bleach games that have her playable even though some captains aren't and the roster is barely bigger than 20.

      @@tnuhenaj3752 First of all I didn't use the word massive, I said huge which to me is around 35-40. This games you mentioned where she made the roster of 20 characters likely only covered Soul Society, what was it Blade of Fate? Heat the Soul series just threw damn near everyone in and copied them to each new entry moving forward. The point is no Bleach has yet to cover the story from Substitute Shinigami arc til end of Arrancar arc.

    this is how the stocks work
    By Default you take 2 and you can stack a bunch of +1 in various ways
    By taking the full bar to 0 and causing a Soul Break you get a +1, by transforming/using evolution you get a permanent +1, by being in the Sublimation ( same bar as evolution that stacks after you evolve) you also get a permanent +1. These is why currently the max we saw being taken in 1 go was 5.
    These are the general rules but some characters are exceptions. Ichigo has a bonus +1 after using Reserve Action in any way so if he stacks the things above with it he can take 6 in one go while Rukia doesn´t seem to get a +1 when entering Sublimation so we gonna have to learn how these exception characters work even if we don´t play them in order to beat them. In RUkia´s case she might get a +1 in Sublimation but she didn´t in the gameplay either cause she was vs Byakuya and they have a unique sibling interaction or Byakuya himself has some type of defense that makes the +1 from Sublimation not work on him
    After Sublimation the bar also keeps filling until it get to Spirit Drive Mode, currently we don´t know what this does but considering they´ve said many times that you can win with 1 great hit the current theory is that you can take all 9 when you rech this point

    I didn’t even know this game existed. The potential need to use “finishers” to bring an opponent down through stages, and ultimately win the match, does seem like it would become repetitive; unstoppable cutscenes for said moves doubly so. Hopefully there will be an option to skip those scenes if those moves are mandatory to progress fights.
    Great video all-in-all and you’ve put this Bleach game on my radar!

    About Kikon move. You only can't dodge them at low reishi when it's red. When Kubo used it against Byakuya when he's health bar wasn't red, you can see in the gameplay that after he used strong red attack to send Byakuya Flying, he used Kikon move. Then before Kikon move hit Byakuya, he already recovered was attacking with Senbonzakura - Morita was mashing button, which is why Kikon move hit Byakuya when hes health wasn't red. So it's very likely that if you have time to execute attack, then you likely can guard or dodge it. After all, we saw in the gameplay that voice actors were playing terribly and only Kubo knew how to do Kikon move without dropping Reishi bar to 0. So he used it against VAs, since they don't know how to play.

      Nemu would actually be cool to have in the game, sadly I think the only Lieutenants/Officers that have a chance are Hisagi, Ikkaku, Kira, Momo and Yumichika. Nemu is a tier lower along with Omaeda, these two have shown enough combat abilities to make a moveset out of but probably not popular enough to get in.

    Great video and great points made. I definitely think the cut scenes might get old, but that said they could easily shave a couple seconds off each one and it would help a ton. Like when Ichigo goes Bankia, it really only needs to show him saying it, then go back to gameplay, its super unnecessary for a panning shot of him doing a pose. So just tightening stuff like that would be huge, it would go from like 10 seconds to 2.
    As for there being a formula to how you win, I mean, I think most fighting games have those. Its really just matter of, "is the formula fun, and is there enough combo verity?" I really feel this is a game that desperately needs a demo at some point, because there's still a lot of people unsure of how this will play and feel. Also hoping they really take there time and give this game tons of polish. I'm excited for this game and think it looks promising, but there's still a lot of tweaks I'd like to see made to it.

      Thanks for the detailed comment and I think we're in the same boat. Very excited but a little cautious.
      I personally think the shot of Ichigo doing the pose should stay in for fan service's sake, but they could probably tighten up 2-3 seconds off a lot of the animations.

    Teleporting behind is a "reversal" move so you really can't spam them. The reversal bar has like only 2 bars so you prabably can only use them "twice in a row" that is if it only consumes one bar.

    The best fix is.... Make the cinematics into a in game version after second usage onwards
    Like if you are doing a best of 3 the cinematics are ingame shorter versions after a cinematic triggered in one round
    Ps i love what the konpaku system is going for, add the kikon move shorter version... Sheeesh

    The visuals are impressive but does anyone else thinks the movements are way too slow for a bleach game?
    I mean look at bleach soul resonance, the movements are perfect for bleach characters

    My main issue is only speculation so far but as of right now i don't see any interesting combo system, which is a big deal for me in arena fighters.
    I do hope we just haven't seen it yet but like...where are my launchers, special cancels, etc?

      The yellow reverse burst is dedicated to cancelling moves to extend combos. Kind of like King of Fighters XV quick max mode.

    i think my only real minor complaint is the floating animation is too long and there is no proper "splat" animation when getting slammed near ground level you just continue to awkwardly float along the ground and hang for a bit too long.
    as for the kikon animations and bankai they really are not that bad but i guess a good middle ground would be if you see the same kikon move twice in one match it speeds the animation up the next time as a qol? but it isnt really too bad imho can let your hands rest like someone else said.

    I agree, we might get tired of the specials animations
    Every fight same thing : evolution than 3 specials it might become too much.
    I will probably switch characters a lot to not feel that

    mientras mas suba la barra de poder y llege hasta Spirit Drive, mas vidas kitaras..pork se suman a las barras de almas (las pequeñas)..la jugabilidad es bastante facil..pero tambien un poco tactica

    I don't like how the ultimates seemingly are guaranteed to hit. You can't seem to block or dodge, given the cutscene ends with the "Konpaku Break".
    It makes the fight no less linear, which I find unfortunate.

      @@paledrake there may be a way to mitigate a kikon attack as in the overview video ichigo blew byakuya away and he glowed red and was charging toward him but it ended in a clash that deflected ichigo's attempt. there is also a screenshot on the steam page where ichigo clashes with renji if that isnt some cutscene still so it might be another mechanic we just didnt get to see in these showcases like how the dodge cinematic and the grab Gin did werent really shown that much

      Very good points. I hope you're right about the ways to defend against the attacks. I was thinking that the Ichigo Vs Byakuya interaction was a story thing but maybe it's a general mechanic.

    bro aki el que juega a la defensa te puede sacar la pelea..este juego esta hecho y pensado para que ningun jugador se sienta inferior lo de menos es quitar las 9 barras de salud..sino saber quitarlas..y eso el que venga desde abajo podria revertir la pelea en un abrir y cerrar de ojos...
    haber...tampoco es que te dejes dar golpes hasta que te dejen con 2 barras de salud,eso seria un suicidio.!!..es solo saber administrar tus (Plus) x cada liberacion que hagas y acumular esos (Plus)..a la hora de bajar la barra grande..podrias kitar hasta 5 barras de salud..o quisas mas...

    The yoruicji ultimate there was used by soul sublimation
    In which is more of a timer
    And it seems to be unli ult? Maybe
    But you need to evolve and fill up the guage 2 more time to reach ot it seems
    So rather than a timer the game has this and have who ever hits theirs wins
    Yea this might be the one hit change everything that they say
    But its very late of the fight and it seems to be dodgable

    Game balancing issues, this gonna have to wait til release to truly speculate. If spamming kikon truly is a thing, maybe it's balanced out by end lag if you miss ? Idk. My true problem is like you said, the english annoncer sounded really... Cringe ? If he really has to speak all game, every games... Might be a problem eventually. Or have to play japanese only, and hopefully it's better. Cinematics to me are (For now) very good, but i can see how seeing them 10 000times over 3 years of the game would eventually be a bad thing. Could be a simple skip/fastforward option in the menus though.

    voce se enganou feio essa versão do ighigo não usa getsuga tenshou como kikon move porque o ichigo não sabia fazer gentsuga tenshou ,ele so aprendeu depois de ver iorochi hollow o branco fazer na luta contra byakuya ,so por isso ,esses golpes so são ataques com a zanghetsu com reishi concentrada para ampliar o corte ,não ghetsuga tenshou

    watching the match footage when it first released gave me Bardock lvl 3 flashbacks, I can definitely see all the cut scenes cutting into the flow of the game get annoying and repetitive really fast

    The Kikon move not draining any resource is probably a bug or the oversight of the early test build they used. At least I hope this is the case. The cutscene spam might get annoying, hopefully they make them a little shorter in the full release. The camera panning around them at the end of the animation could be cut shorter/be sped up imo to make it more bearable. Game looks great otherwise.

      Have you checked sparkling zero? Why there wasn't complain there. In game like rebirth I think it can be useful to think of your next move during that time since the hp system is in stocks can't make any risks otherwise it might cost the player if they just rushed

    The level of scrutiny bleach constantly has to go through is so annoying? 2:13 the game is still in development and it's obvious. It's so annoying that even in the initial sparking zero trailers, there were frames that looked bad, everyone literally turned their brains off but for bleach, everyone has their critic eyes open wide 👀👀👀. That being said, great video.
    I personally don't like the way the characters fly when they're knocked back. It almost seems like you can continue your combos after knocking the opponent back. It looks like it'll be disruptive.
    Anyway, the game is STILL in development and still looks great.
    Also, for some reason, content creators talking about this game seem to pretend like the game is more complicated than It actually is.
    11:51 Okay that is a really hypocritical complaint in my opinion that I've heard from so many creators. The Naruto storm series has way more cutscenes. Some Regular jutsus have cutscenes. Awakenings have long cutscenes, grabs have long cutscenes, ultimate jutsus have very long cutscenes, even some combos have cutscenes 😂. How is that a problem now when it's bleach? Where were these complaints for the Naruto storm series where the fights are about 10-15% cutscenes?? So your suggestion is that the studio removes the cutscenes?

      Dude was 90% positive this whole vid, some parts are a bit concerning tho and this has nothing to do with bleach as a series.
      Also what you called "hypocritical" isn't actually that at all. When did he EVER say anything about the cutscenes in storm? That's right, never.
