I am so glad that your video showed up on feed--you rescued my tutoring session! My students love you. You explain so well with details in an interesting presentation. Subscribed All. Thank you!
Hi Arnel, I've been watching your videos for a long time, and i get so many information about grammar. furthermore, I am a student of English department therefore recently what i needed much is writing a perfect paragraph with complete meaning and clear idea. The reason behind that is that i am being asked alot to explain some actions, activities and the main idea or them. For example, ive been given a story or a poem to read and i have to explain everything, so sometimes i face some problems with long paragraph and how to give clear idea. In brief explanation i hope you make a video teaching us how to do so.
Good evening Arnel. I got 9 out of 10, in the first sentence I chose A instead of B, anyway thanks a lot for this other useful lesson and I'll see you next time.
I loved this lesson. Thanks a lot Arnel 9/10!!! (I'd read twice the answers and find 1 mistake before the correct ones appears hahaha ) I should've been watching your videos more often. Have wonderful and delightful rest of the week!
Arnel, this is wonderful, and I'll use it for my students. Could you do a mega modal verb video similar to how you did all the tenses earlier? It would be great to explain can v. could, will v. would, etc.
9/10 This grammar lesson should be listened carefully English learners should be watching this video I should have started reading ' Atomic habits' earlier
Hello Arnel. I really enjoy your videos, so I purchased 2 of the PDFs as soon as I finished this one. Thank you so much for putting so much effort into it and making it so interesting and understandable! I received 9/10 because I got the question 8 wrong. I don't know why even if "should have been here" (from Q8) and "should have been charging" (from Q10) look exactly the same form to me; they represent different meanings.
Thank you so much Shephew! I really hope my PDFs help you! First let's look at the structures: Q8: should have + past participle (should have BEEN there) Q10: should have + been + ing (should have BEEN CHARGING) If there is "ing," a sentence can be described as "ongoing." Secondly, "be" is a stative verb. It can sometimes be dynamic, but it's usually stative. This means it cannot be used in the "ing" form. We say: It's chilly. I am cold. Not: It is being chilly. I am being cold. I understand the two sentences are confusing because they are both in the past, but remember that stative verbs are not used with "ing" and do not emphasize ongoing situations. I hope this helps! :)
Thanks for the video. I learned a structure like " He should pass the exam." which means he shouldn't have passed but he did it. Is that commonly used? Thanks.
Hi Arnel, How's it goin' ?. That was an excellent video Arnel, very educational, I didn't know that the word "TO" is optional in the negative form of "ought to", so we can say: - "She ought NOT TO do that". Or. - "She ought NOT DO that". Thanks Arnel, no matter whether this form is used or not, it's important to know just in case someone happens to say it that way then I'll know what they're saying. Thanks for the video, now I know something new about English language. 👍.
hello Arnel.💜 I have a question. you said to the lesson 'you shouldn't worry what other people think about you.' Can i say ' you shouldn't worry other people what think about you'? how can i learn which word places should be where? I know this question not about this lesson topic but ı hope you will see 😊

First let's look at the structures:
Q8: should have + past participle (should have BEEN there)
Q10: should have + been + ing (should have BEEN CHARGING)
If there is "ing," a sentence can be described as "ongoing."
Secondly, "be" is a stative verb.
That’s more confuse than I thought, but thank you very much!
😬 Yes, some of the structures can definitely be a bit confusing.
My score is 8. Thanks for the video
