  • What The Cleveland guardians are doing should literally be impossible, last season they struggled so much to hit the ball consistently in big moments, this year they've already lost their ace shane bieber and steven kwan has been out for almost 2 weeks, and with barely any expectations, this team just wins and keeps winnings, people have called there win streaks flukes, they've said this isn't gonna last, and so many things, but time after time the guards have been relentless and they have shown so many different ways to win. Whether it's been dominant pitching, scoring double digit runs, or playing scrappy and grinding out those kind of games, in this video I'm gonna be breaking down everything the guards have done to become one of the first teams in the league to reach 30 wins and what they need to do to sustain that success.

I’ve been waiting for the “come down to reality” for this team since the best start in team history in April. Saturday convinced me that blowing out Minnesota’s best pitcher says they have potential. This is such a different team from the Tito years, starting strong instead of the “doldrums of April-May” waiting to see if they would wake up. It could be a very special year.

Freeman, to my understanding, has changed a lot about his swing this year. Last year, he primarily hit the ball on the ground, but he's got a new launch angle to his swing that he's just now really getting used to. That and learning a whole new position he's never played before, and you get an initial struggle.
But that seems to be a thing of the past, and if he can keep hitting in the .230-.240 mark, id call it a success

  • @Justin-pq3rq

Josh Naylor and Jose Ramirez are top 3 in the Al in HR and RBI. Steven Kwan leads the MLB in Ba. They legitimately have 4 All stars in Steven Kwan, Jose Ramirez, Josh Naylor, and Andres Gimenez. Will Brennan, David fry, and Tyler Freeman fill out the lineup. They have the best bullpen in MLB. And once they get their Stud pitcher Gavin Williams back their rotation will be sold with Gavin Williams, Tanner Bibee, Tristan Mcenzie, and Logan Allen. People forget in 22 they were 92-70. This is basically the same team. I’m not surprised at all. I predicted them to go 88-74 before the season even started.

Worse; this is all over baseball and if Major League Baseball ever ran into a situation where they needed new stadiums again none of these smaller medium market teams we're going to vote for the tax dollars to pay for these because we are already paying taxes on a team that we don't get to watch

It's great and all but It is a long season . Dolan has proved to be a cheapskate when it matters . I have been an Indians fan for 30 years and although it's great to see them win , heart break is always close by . We will see what they do at the half way mark to see how committed the front office is to this team .

Arias given the opportunity to play every day at one position would be a .250-.260 hitter with 20+ home runs. Wrc+ probably around 110.
He’s the same age as Bo Naylor, trying to play 7 different positions while not getting consistent at bats. When he gets traded somewhere that lets him play short every day he’ll be the next player fans are mad about giving away for nothing.

Rumblings from the clubhouse say that he's lazy and doesn't have great work ethic. He's not going to get everyday chances by existing. He has to earn it and so far he's not doing that. His ABs don't often look competitive. Rocchio is scuffling a bit, too, but at least he doesn't chase and he competes in every single PA he has. Arias has 453 MLB ABs and I think I've seen enough.

You observation of Rocchio and Arias is COMPLETELY AND ABSOLUTELY WRONG! Rocchio is NOT a good defender - he is at best a below average shortstop. Arias is an elite gold glove type defender at shortstop. Arias errors have come when they move him all over the other positions on the field.
