- Make it nine straight wins for the Cleveland Guardians, Jose Ramirez nearly had his 4th home run of the series, the royals lost so the guards finally were able to gain a game in the standings, and only three times in franchise history has this team won 36 of their first 53 games, and you know what happened every time, ya, they made it to the world series, so this truly has been an incredible start to the season, things are clicking on all levels, and in this video i wanna talk all about the sweep against the angels, I wanna talk about Steven Kwan who just hit a three run homerun in his rehab assignment for the Lake County Captains, and so much more.

@@davidwindell they are pretty good. They have been building for a couple years. So has Cleveland. Steven Kwan, Andres Gimenez, Jose Ramirez and Josh Naylor are a dynamite core.
The umps calling a strikeout when the angels couldnt find the strike zone to stop the bleeding was so obvious it pissed me off it almost cost the game lol
Ump was awful in this game. I’m still fuming from the other day when replay didn’t get Freeman’s infield hit correct. That play was so obvious.
Everyone misses calls sometimes. The umps do a great job and have to grind an insane system to make it where they are at... that being said call was kinda suss.

No, it’s actually the Guardians. Nobody wants the old name back. Not worth the hassle. Get over it, everyone else has, and I like the current name better. Team name has changed five times in franchise history and will probably change again someday.

Can't even compare even a little, this team to the 95 power house team..that team had 4 or 5 HOFamers went 100-44....I thought when they didn't improve their outfield at all, they would only get around 74 or 75 wins at most. This team has 4 or 5 "punch and Judy" hitters, and luckily for them they have been punching balls thru the holes a lot;-)...they'll level off in July I suspect.

I have plenty of friends in Cleveland and wish them all the best. But the clickbait title is just flat wrong. Guards are hot yeah, but the Phillies, a bigger team (payroll/media/market) were just as hot and have a better record. Who’s the media gonna cover? Oh and don’t forget, Ohtani is throwing from 60ft now! That will eclipse everything outside of the WS. It’s not a conspiracy, it’s just reality.

To be fair, unfortunately, Midwestern sports just service lower populations than NY, Chicago, and California teams.
Just peek at the view counts of the MLB clips and you'll see Yankees, Red Soxks, Dodgers, etc. always pull more numbers than Ohio teams. It's just sheer numbers.

Absolutely not. Do you realize that in the entire 11 years that he managed Cleveland that they have only been mathematically eliminated by a total of 25 games. That's an absurd level of competitiveness with a roster in a smaller market that doesn't spend money like big market teams. They would have won the World series if Bauer dumba*s didn't cut his finger screwing around with his drone and if Orosco hadn't broken his wrist from that line drive a week before the post season. We were leading the World Series 3 - 1 with or 2nd and 3rd starting pitchers out for the season.. This team is a product of what Tito started and the fact that Cleveland has one of the best, if not the BEST farm system in all,of baseball.

We’re going on 54 games in. 54. U can pick out anything in the schedule and put it in a Vacuum. They aren’t going anywhere. Hell they are missing probably their best overall player in Steven Kwan who will be back in about a week and their stud pitcher in Gavin Williams. I’m not saying they’re winning the World Series but to think they are going anywhere is foolish. They are a lock to win 90
Plus games and make the playoffs.
