    I like the fact that you are adding some really custom elements which appear to be from the custom auto world. This is a cool build!

      Thank you! that is definitely what I tried to do. Check out the finish build video. You can see all the custom bead rolling I did. I added some Tarpon scales with the bead roller came out very unique.

      Thank you! Jon boats are awesome because they can be cheap and I'm pretty sure more fish have been caught out of jon boats then any other boat hahaha.

    Would this be called aluminum welding for someone looking to learn how? Would appreciate some info on the welding you did for this boat and what equipment is needed

    • @hotactioncustoms7008
      @hotactioncustoms7008  Год назад

      Yes this is aluminum welding, you'll need a TIG welded and it has to be able to weld in AC (alternating current) most machines weld in DC (direct current) and that's for welding steel or stainless steel. Hopefully that will get you in the right direction.

    Seems hard to find info on the size pipe used on these platforms. Is it 1.5 or 2" sch40?

    • @hotactioncustoms7008

      I used 1.25" pipes sch40.

    • @itszo4168
      @itszo4168 Год назад

      @@hotactioncustoms7008 Nice I am going with 1.5" sch 40 since my nephew is over 6' tall and over 200Lbs.. To give him a bit extra security. found some nice polished anodized for a decent deal. Will do a 20"x30" platform on top as per request and get him poling around in no time. Only downside is I am using a manual hydraulic bender so will be filling with sand and trying not to bark up the aluminum when i make the bends.
