I have an InMotion S1 e-scooter and I absolutely LOVE it! My partner has one too and again - absolutely fantastic machines! :) I'm 55 and it's my first scooter and it feels well-built and absolutely beautiful to ride! Another thing to love about this scooter is the spare parts are cheap too! Craig - Australia
Short story long as to why im not ridding the scooter in the video, Danny was coming to help me film on his ESK8 but found on arrival he had two flat tyres, DOH ! I only had my V12 unicycle in the car so I rode that and filmed him.
the reasoning for the drum brake is to prevent locking up the front wheel and flipping over the handlebars. Disc should def be in the rear if they add one though!
indicators are supposed to be orange not red lol they come on when you don't want them to, blue side lights are not road legal because they look like police and ambulance
*Seems like the ideal commuter for days off from esk8* 👀 ⚡🤙🏼🤙🏼⚡ I like the nice wider platform to stand on, those indicators are a nice little bonus especially seein its controlled by gyro but carvin will confuse people behind you with those 😂
Looks like a budget scooter, but then you see all the upgrades, the suspension, the size of the tires, the build quality. I agree about the disc brakes, but then again my wife’s Dualtron mini only has drum as well and it’s the only brake, nothing on the front. Were the brakes strong? Great review, Danny looks like he was having fun while you were on the v12.
Yea Danny enjoyed it a lot after that we rode into the city for “brunch” Scooter didn’t miss a beat, Yea the V12 goes so well just sits on 40kph so well. After the 35km ride I still had 86% battery showing 😂
How does the brake work? Light squeeze activates only electric brake or both electric and mechanical brakes are always working? Any puncture issues with these tubeless?
How would you rate this against a G30P? My understanding is that the Ninebot is built like a tank with lots of spares available. On paper the INMOTION S1 looks great. Do suppliers have spares for this product?
@@carl2994 s1 rear suspension looks like it won't last long mine rattles before I used it everything not tightened up properly, thin bolts on suspension, fake range ,more like 20mls at 15mph,old Xiaomi did 18mls
Overall the dum brake need less maintenance than disk ones, which are tend to have dust, sand in the gap, and the disk itself are more likely to be bent by obstacles. I have the experience of the clicking noise from the disc, very annoying
Hey mate, good video. Im looking at getting one. Commuting throughout the sunny coast. So relatively flat but hills here and there. Im only about 55kg. What range do you think i should be getting? Also do these scooters tend to last? Ive heard about overheating issues?
I've got the latest S1 2 days ago, it has a single headlight that isn't a part of the display housing, that's how you know it's the latest one, I'm 105 kg I'm getting 29 miles at 12.5 mph, make sure you get the latest version, it's about 45% more range than the older one😀
Hi mate, no never and I’ve ridden it from full to empty a few times. Also being in Brisbane the weather temp is normally around the 30c mark so quite warm
Do you know where I can find a guide to the app? I just bought this yesterday and I find there is bugger all info about the app. For example, I put the lock on in the app. The scooter dash went off and the scooter physically gave some resistance when pushing, but is still pushable. With the lock off, it freewheels easily. I left the lock on overnight but noticed it was freewheeling easily in the morning. Yes, the software lock is still on. Maybe a trivial example 🤦. My point is that it would be great to have some details on what the app's configurable items do. Edit: Ok, found a pretty good assessment and initial interpretation of the app here... ruclips.net/video/dext_VhruS0/видео.html Looks like we may have to wait for the app to get better (sigh)... Never mind, just enjoy the ride 🤗

I rode that all day... and i gotta say it felt so comfortable, and that suspension is huge selling point!
I took mine bush bashing on the weekend and it held up really well. Nothing too extreme but damn it was fun!
Awesome!!
Danny any experience with the overheating issues on this scooter?

This was my first electric scooter and it's great but I had to send it back. I needed more power for the hills in San Francisco. Great video 👍🏽
Oh Yea the same Fran hills are incredible.
Their website claims 30% but I’ve told them to change that as it’s misleading it’s more like 8-10%

Thanks mate
The indicators are a nice touch. Wouldn't mind something like this for pottering around town where a board will be a bit of a PITA
Yea that’s the perfect use just to ride from spot to spot it really opens up the city as it’s so easy to park a few km away and just scoot in.

Indicators don't work properly. Don't understand why they couldn't just add manual indicators.
I think I'm gonna use it for food delivery... What do you think?
Yea should be fine , as long as there aren’t too many steep hills
What is the better option climber vs s1?

Looks nice but a a bit heavy for a city scooter. Hopefully as technology improves all pevs will start getting lighter and more portable.
