There’s a way you could renew your phone by resetting it, try searching how to reset your iPhone and be sure to have your photos and important documents save in another phone or stored somewhere you can transfer back to your phone once it has reset. Then your other storage will only contain 1-5 gigabytes.

@@NWJNS.official Well then you probably just have to write it up somewhere by accessing the ‘password’ thing and write it up one by one. But if you can’t then probably just stay that way until/unless there’s another way.

After hold down the home button i had to enter my passcode then it return to home..is it normal..im using iphone 7 🙂
You might have enable passcode to reset ram. Try disabled it by setting > general > reset > reset all settings.
Also it will pop up passcode so enter it and your good to go

Press and release volume up&down after that long press lock button after that in assistive touch home button is there long press it

It's a very useful tip and I'm glad you went right to the point. My only question is this: I'm someone who closes apps immediately after I've used them. Unlike some people, whose phones, when I watch them using them, have dozens if not hundreds of apps open all the time. I don't see the point if you close out the apps after you're finished with them. But your tip is well worth knowing. Thanks!

This also works with AssistiveTouch: press and hold the Lock Screen icon, when “slide to power off” appears re-open AssistiveTouch, press and hold the on-screen Home button. There is also a Restart button on the third screen of the AssistiveTouch menu. It’s easier than pressing and holding the iPhone’s physical buttons.

Open iTunes go to movie section then touch on rent any hd movie which is bigger than ur free space then it will load and show you error that can't download because memory isn't enough then check ur available memory it will increase

Alex Khumukcham home button first thing to go on iPhones. Not surprising when you think about it. Yes indeed I use assistive touch. And I use the on-screen home button functions for as much as possible - volume, locking etc etc

nice. i have a question. some apps that i have downloaded and deleted in the past , then, months, sometimes years later, i redownload them and ALL INFO are there, its like i had never deleted them. is there anyway to completely erase an app without leaving any traces of it, so if I need to reinstall them again I start from the scratch, as if it were my first time with them. thanks

Step 1:
From any screen, press & hold the Sleep/Wake button, until the iPhone’s Shutdown screen comes up. (I’m talking about the Power button available at the top of your device, if you’re owning an iPhone 5S or earlier version. The iPhone 6 and later versions have this button re-positioned on the right side).
Step 2
Now, press & hold the Home Button until the iOS home screen is displayed. This signals that the Random Access Memory flush has been completed!
Fact:
You can check the results by double tapping the Home Button. From the App Switcher view, tap an app. You’ll notice that the software reloads and prompts you with the home screen, the same view that is displayed when you freshly open it!

Is this different than holding the power and home buttons for about 6 seconds at the same time? I was told not to do that as it crashes the system.
+Robert Logue doing that does not crash anything, it's a hard reset and can be used when the iPhone starts acting weird or locks up. This is just clearing ram.

That's not how to clean the RAM, if you see the app in recents it means that the RAM is occupied, less that before but occupied.
+TheAox8 you cannot clear ram 100% as the OS occupies some.
I know, i didn't mean that, i mean if there are present the "shortcuts" for the app in the recents tab it means there are open, it won't occupie as much as before but it occupies the ram, for example 100MB before and 25MB after. To clear comletely the RAM you can reboot the phone or close the apps manually.
TheAox8 no it doesn't, just because it stays in the recent tab does not mean that it is opened...but yeah sure, the recent tab does occupy some ram, however the apps shown are closed.

Johnpaul Valle All the deleted emails goes to "bin" or "trash" folder, & these are still consuming your storage, so go to those folders and delete them as well. Or else these will automatically be deleted after some days (not sure). It is same as Recycle bin in our computers.

No, but there really is no reason to clear it.
I have heard comments in iPad training in regards to the necessity of closing apps that you are not using. Eg uses data in background (background refresh, as well as slowing device down. Are you able to clear this up. Cheers. Thanks for the vid
